Both rentals also had pool access, the home a private, heated pool that we greatly enjoyed. In addition to the properties though, the staff was excellent! We had trouble finding the first location because our gps was down and customer service guided us over the phone to the property. We also had a complementary fresh sweet bread and bottled waters left for us during our second stay. I highly recommend a stay with Five Star Beach Properties - they make the booking process (over the phone or via their user friendly website) easy, the properties are one of a kind with state of the art amenities and great views, and the customer service is fantastic.

I'll begin with their customer service...the rudeness AFTER you've stayed with them and they've gotten your money is unacceptable to say the least. I left an item on their property a very expensive wig. My family checked into the same property that I'd stayed at the very same day that I checked out so I had them look for it...once it had been cleaned by housekeeping. It was not located by my family after telling them exactly where I left it...so I contacted Five Star Properties...after days of receiving the run around and of my reaching out numerous times I was told that it was not found. I mentioned to the VERY RUDE representative VANESSA that my first off my family had searched for the wig and didn't find it and that. She mentioned to me that she was the one that initially took down the report...I then mentioned to her that I'd spoke with another representative who informed me that she was fairly new and had never even notified the housekeepers of the wig being missing. Vanessa became very angry and disrespectful to me even hanging up on me. People on this level should NEVER be working for a place where yiu are spending $10k to stay 3 nights. I asked several times to speak with a manager and she refused saying she was who I had to speak with. Again maybe she was having back flashes thinking she was still at "The Waffle House"...no disrespect to The Waffle House"..but I was completely floored by the conversation. Not to mention again, she rudely hung up on me...simply because I insisted on speaking with a manager. There were also issues with the home that we stayed in that I wasn't even going to address with them since my family chose to go there when we left...like the elevator wasn't working (although they sent a repair guy on day 2) the pool jets weren't working...the microwave stopped working and my family had to fix that...and on our last day there the dishwasher stopped working...so we had to hand wash everything...mind you my family checked in there because the place they were staying in flooded and had bugs...smh and they had limited options. Five Star Properties PLEASE PLEASE do better. You cannot charge the kind of money that we spent and provide the service that you've provided. I spoke with Felicity (who I'm guessing did what she could with my request for the search of my wig) and also Taylor ( who told me that Vanessa was new and had not filed the initial report so he did). Taylor was also the one who reached out to inform me that the wig was not found. A wig sounds like a seamless item...and maybe it is but I paid over $1k for it thus the reason for my reaching...which wasn't an easy call for me to have made. AGAIN Five Star do better! FOLKS RUN DONT WALK FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THE HOMES LOOK BEAUTIFUL ON THE SITES BUT THEY'RE NOT WORK THE MONEY OR THE HEADACHES!!!

The bathroom light NEVER worked! I can't believe you would actually try to say someone came. We will never use you again and will definitely NOT recommend anyone else use you. Especially if you're going to lie. And the bugs.....they were alive and tons, I mean TO S under the couch and beds! That place had not been cleaned if forever! Toenail trimmings on the rug so bad you wouldn't even want to walk on it. Dirty rugs! Felt like they had a gummy film on them. You have a 2.5 rating....did you go and lie about all the others bad reviews too? And I didn't even mention the grill outside....covered in nasty gunk that's been on there forever and not cleaned because it was there the first time which was over 4 years ago. We didn't use it then because it was disgusting and this time too! You need a new cleaning crew and you need to stop lying!

Have been vacationing in the Destin, Miramar Beach area for 15 years and have used Frangista Beach…read moreproperties numerous times. They are always quick to respond to questions and provide excellent service if an issue arises. Frangista is an awesome neighborhood with a great gated private beach as well, so no crazy traffic on the beach during peak seasons. Rentals are always spotless upon arrival. Check out the old greek church a few streets back if you get a chance.

Spend a few days here with a couple awesome friends. It was clean, comfortable and everything work in the house. Wouldn't mind coming back again. They were very responsive and helped us with a virtual tour since we are out of town. They checked several properties for us until we found out our hidden gem. They know the area pretty well, also they know everything related to short term rentals, which was key for us. They also helped us after closing finding some contractors on the area that could help us with landscaping for our property and original wall paint from the builder. They did respond to an email, but were very rude and defensive. He is holding us to our contract, but won't honor his end of the bargain. They took no responsibility for failing to honor our contract -- I didn't even ask for a refund I just wanted to be heard and talk about the problem. Now, Chris is refusing to send me back my security deposit and cleaning fees that I prepaid -- neither of these items were ever used, so he's just a thief. These people are not fair or honest so avoid renting a property from them. If you're considering listing a house with them, please look elsewhere -- these are not people you want to work with.

She is unreachable, across all forms of communication. We arrived Saturday to our refrigerator being broken, Stacy was no where to be reached, did not contact us back at all for over twelve hours so we had to call a repairman ourselves the next day, the repairman said we had to order a part, which would take days. Stacy decided to show her face days later and inconvenience us even further by coming out at 9 o'clock at night and informed us they have had several problems with the fridge before (obviously aware of the problem) then we asked her what was she going to do for us to fix this because we didn't want to go out to eat for EVERY MEAL for fear of coronavirus and the surging rates in Florida at the time, to which Stacy literally said "oh it's totally ok to eat out, me and my husband go all the time" LOL. Fast forward to Wednesday night (the last two days of our trip) and we finally get it fixed and ask Stacy what she is going to do in the way of a partial refund for us because of the inconvenience she caused us amongst the refrigerator and whole day we had no access to the pool due to it needing to be shocked and Stacy not planning this properly either, we even had a diabetic in the house who needed to refrigerate their medicine-Stacy could care less. We have received zero compensation for the hundreds of dollars wasted on food before we realized the fridge was broken nor the countless amounts of extra money we had to pay for to-go food (obviously more expensive than groceries), or for the extra risk we were forced to put ourselves at with the coronavirus. What little communication we have had with Stacy (when she wasn't literally ignoring us for days on end) has been condescending, dismissive, and ignorant. 10 out of 10 would not recommend, way too expensive off the rip, let alone to deal with all the shocking amount of disrespect we have received. Do not book here, you will regret it. UPDATE- Stacy has refused to give us our deposit back for no reason. And is not answering calls or texts, 100% withholding and thus stealing the amount due back to us. A truly trash business and business owner. Again- DO NOT BOOK WITH BEACH'N DESTIN.

The pool was dirty and heat was not turned on as we paid $500 for. Come to find out they don't clean pool between guests, only on a standard twice weekly schedule. Gross.... Then the floors were so dirty it was filthy. Oh, did I mention we found a plate on top of the fridge with weed on it. Imagine if the kids would have found it. Imagine staring your vacation with kids crying because they can't use the pool they have waited months for. While Diamond was reactive to our issues, they simply should not have happened. They offered compensation to keep out mouths closed and not post but no way! Avoid Diamond at all costs!!!! We rented from My Dream Vacation last year with zero issues.

The properties I stayed in were both "nice" houses but desperately needed updating. One was listed as 5 bedrooms when it was really only 4 bedrooms with a walk-in closet (inside a bedroom) converted to a bunk room. Pricing is better than other sites but comes at a cost.
