I hadn't noticed her lack of experience until a woman a bit older than her was my instructor one night. Her teaching was easier to understand, she was more helpful to the participants, she seemed to be paying attention to everyone's ability in certain moves and offering modified versions. I know Pilates can be expensive so if you already have an LA member ship it may be worth it, $99 a month for minimum 3 months, I liked it but just couldnt commit to the time and I was lacking certain physical abilities to where I can't keep up or do a lot without pain, not the classes fault, my own inabilities.

All of the employees are very nice & always say "hi" when you walk in. Little interactions like that go a long way. We parked in a nearby shopping center's lot across the street from Sesame Place, at a medical office. Despite being on a different property, we were approached by the Hotworx owner in a very aggressive manner. She yelled at us and threatened to call the police, even though we were not parked on her property. While I understand the importance of managing parking, the owners approach was unwarranted and created a very uncomfortable situation for my family. This was especially upsetting with my children present. I believe that a wellness-focused business should reflect those values in all interactions. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite, and it left a negative impression. Because of this, I will never go to Hotworx for this reason.The "owner" is incredibly defensive, aggressive , and unprofessional. Also, to see such an aggressive response from a business that promotes wellness. It raises the question of what kind of wellness is truly being offered if respect and kindness is absent.
