I could not be happier to have found Fix-A-Fence LLC, and I could not be more thrilled with John's repair work on my fence. An ice storm had left my chain link fence severely leaning toward the street, and I was given some very high quotes from other companies for repair. I definitely recommend Fix-A-Fence. My cyclone fence had been damaged when a tree went down in the recent snowstorm. The job was made more difficult because of the tree stump and bushes growing through the fence. John, the owner, was very helpful by making an extra trip to remove a section of fence so the stump grinder could complete his work so the fence could be repaired. The 2-person crew showed up on time, did the work quickly, made sure to have my husband inspect before they left, and were very professional the entire time. The price was very reasonable too. I haven't had any work done by John so maybe I shouldn't give a review since I can't really comment on the quality of his work, but based on the quality of his customer service I imagine his work is up to par as well. I have called him three times over the past almost three years and each time he responded same day. First time - I needed a new gate and some posts replaced. He got back to me quickly and scheduled a time to come over and provide an estimate in a very timely manner. The quote was very reasonable. The only reason I went with someone else is I found a friend of a friend who could also take care of the drywall and electrical repairs I needed completed so I had him to everything for me at the same time. Second time - had another old post broken in the terrible wind. John again called me back quickly and came over quickly. The work would have been too small of a job for his minimum (which I understand, he's not taking $100 jobs here and there, I get it). But he told me how he thought I could easily take care of the repair myself. I got a friend to help me and did this and saved some money! Third time - my neighbor's friend just backed her car into my fence post so now that needs replacing. John called me back same day. I'm selling my house and have to get the work done in asap and he's booked 40-50 days out. As much as I was selfishly hoping he would tell me he would bump me up in his schedule, it's admirable that he keeps the commitments he's made to others. read more

I can't say enough good things about the fence that was put in by the 2 professionals (Scott and Aaron) at Fix a Fence. They worked long days in the pouring rain and the fence is just what we wanted. Excellent workmanship! They even fixed our gate and put on the post caps! They were there on time as promised, worked hard to not stomp on my plants, and left the work site clean. The job was done quickly too! John was easy to work with, the bid was reasonable, there were no surprises, and he was even able to schedule the job earlier than expected. We chose Fix-A-Fence after interviews with several installers, even though they were marginally higher, because of the thoughtful solutions to our site situation and how the fence would be built using our existing, solid posts (not starting from scratch).
