I called this company to come repair my dryer yesterday because it wasn't heating up. They were prompt and tried to be as helpful as they could. They couldn't get my dryer fixed but wanted to try to replace one more part to see if it would start working. The owner (who came and repaired it) told us if he couldn't fix it, he would take all his parts back and give our money back and only charge us for the service charge and vent cleaning. Fast forward to today, my dryer still isn't heating up so he wasn't able to fix it. We told him that he can just take his parts and we'll figure out another solution or just replace the dryer. He then got upset and said he did fix our dryer and its an electrical problem now and we could go buy 55 hundred dryers and it still wouldn't work but he still didn't fix it, so he went back on his word. He was raising his voice at my husband and I which caused my husband to raise his so he could be heard because the owner just kept interrupting him and not letting him get a word in. He even started swearing at my husband. He kept saying we needed an electrician and that he fixed our dryer but if its not heating up, did you really fix it sir? He then stormed out of our home and was slammed our door. His worker that came with him kept on apologizing on his behalf and told us he gets like this sometimes and he understood where we were coming from. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! He was telling us how we seemed like good people then when he got mad he turned on his word AGAIN and said we're not good honest people like he thought. because we wanted our money back on something he promised to begin with. I was so happy to find a business that could repair my refrigerator; I boast about them. However, the day the technician appeared to rehab my refrigerator was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. It was a misunderstanding on my part regarding service and repair; me being upset and contemplating whether or not to continue and allow the technician to repair the refrigerator. They had spent 5-10 minutes in my garage; they grew upset, started yelling about how cold my garage was and called me all kinds of bitches, and too dumb. I asked the technician to give me the receipt to sign while waiting for my mother to pay the service cost. Although I was not right, I felt compelled to return his clipboard by tossing it to him because of what he called me and him up in my face yelling. I told them fucking get out of my house and that I would bring the cash to them outside my house. I did as promised and brought the payment; the service cost was $70, handing them $80 and expecting $10 in return. Simultaneously, once I gave them more than was rendered, they drove off; I had my hand on the drives door handle, knocking on the driver's side car window, and I shouted he owed me money. Upon their driving off, the technician's partner repeatedly called me a nigger. I called the police, and they arrived expeditiously quickly. I used Fix-It-Right Murfreesboro for a dishwasher repair on 5/20/22. I had an appointment time from 11-2. Ray came out with an assistant on time and seemed very knowledgeable about the issue. He told me that my washer was filling suds. I asked if it could be the dishwasher pods I was using and he told me no, he said that the pods don't cause suds. He put one in a cup of water to show me how it doesn't create suds as opposed to dish liquid. He said it was most likely from dish liquid residue on my dishes (I assured him was not using dish liquid on my dishes as I only wash pots and pans by hand) or that it was backing up from my sink or garbage disposal. He verified that the dishwasher was not connected to my sink properly. He installed a loop in the dishwasher line and ran my dishwasher without a pod and said that the issue was resolved as the washer did not stop after 10 minutes as it had been doing before. He told me if I had any problems to call them back and they would come out again and the $140 that I paid for the repair would go towards whatever they may need to do next. That night, I tried to do a load of dishes in the dishwasher and the suds issue returned. The washer stopped after 10 minutes. I tried again the next morning and the same issue happened again. I called Ray back and let him know what was happening. He said he would have to come back and see how the suds were getting into the washer. He said he would call the office and verify a date and time and get back to me. When he called me back, we agreed on that Saturday 11-2. When 12:15 rolled around that Saturday, I had not heard from him and I had something come up so I text him and asked if he was already on the way or if I could reschedule. He replied "Tuesday 11-2" I agreed. When today, Tuesday, came around, he never showed. I called the office several times but there was no answer so I called Ray's cell phone again. He apologized and said he never received my last message agreeing to today's appointment so he never booked it. He said he was having issues with his phone receiving messages in some service areas. He said he would make it right by making me his first stop tomorrow morning. I agreed. The office called me after I got off the phone with Ray. I told the office that I had just spoken with Ray and he said he would make me his first stop tomorrow morning and all was taken care of. The woman from the office said "I don't know what to tell you but he can't make you his first stop. Your zip code is in the 11-2 time slot so he probably won't be out there before 11". I said all I know is he said he would make me his 1st stop and I don't know what time that means but as long as he makes it tomorrow it's cool. She said ok and hung up. Next thing I know, I'm getting a text from them telling me they are refunding me $70 for the service call and not to contact them again and to find another company. I replied asking how it's right that they only refund me half of what I paid and not resolve my issue with my dishwasher. They replied that I was rude and disrespectful and that they would not work for free. I responded that I am not asking them to work for free but either refund all my money or give me what I paid for which was a successful repair. I recapped this whole story to her and she responded by calling me a liar, refusing a full refund, and threatening to charge me with harassment. When these guys came over our house to fix a malfunctioning appliance, they were completely unprofessional, and spent no time listening to our concerns. They had booked multiple appointments that day, and were in a hurry to get in and get out, without truly examining issues we encountered with our appliance. They kept discussing all the appointments they had, and how hard/easy they anticipated them to be, and how much time they would spend with each appointment. They barely spent 10 minutes in our home, and were rude, disrespectful, and even attempted to intimidate us. Just examining their professional conduct I would not recommend them at all. They didn't fix anything in our home, but left a strong rude and disrespectful and unprofessional impression. read more
