    Fred and James took such great care with all our belongings. Everything that wasn't already boxed up was either wrapped up in blankets or carefully placed in the truck so that it wouldn't get damaged. If they took something apart, they put it back together when it was delivered. Delivery was just as impressive. Great care was made to make sure every item or box was placed where we wanted it. Nothing was broken or damaged. Fred was able to schedule the load and unload to met my needs. I would hire Fred and his team again!

    Yelp, I used FJC 2 weekends in a row, and was a client...so if these guys say I didn't, they are lying. It's unfortunate I have to leave a negative review. I used FJC to load up a 20 ft truck the first weekend, one of the guys that showed up had a verbal altercation with my 73 yr old mother. Admittedly, she tends to go off and had said something negative, so I can appreciate that side of it. The guy mouthed off though, and in a loud voice told her to calm down. That wasn't necessary. I left it alone and went on about things. When I went to get the truck, same guy said something like, "I ain't wearin no mask" because of Covid. I mentioned to him he didn't have to when working and not near my Mother, but if close to her, he needed to....he repeated the statement again, and I told him he needed to leave then if he couldn't follow proper protocol. My mother is 73 and has a compromised immune system. I called the owner, he wouldn't send anyone else out, so I left it alone and kept her away from the entire situation. We got done, but when I went back down after they were gone, someone(I didn't see it) threw 3 boxes of hardwood through a 2x4 open wall int eh storage in the basement, and damaged some of the wood, and had thrown it into my wine rack...wine rack is ok, but still some small damage...either way...it's not ok to do this....When the owner came out the second weekend, he said the guy wouldn't do it and blew it/me off...well, hmmm I didn't do it, I have way to many other important things to do that...to throw shit around, damage my own stuff I don't want damaged, and try to blame someone for it...maybe it magically threw itself, makes total sense! I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt the second weekend, after talking to the owner...Fred the owner said he would personally come and take care of my next weekend move and would be there probably before lunch. Cool, problem solved.. He called me around 11 and said it would probably be more like 1-2pm....I get it, I've moved approximately 45+ times since college many years ago, not my first rodeo....I called when they weren't there at 2, he said it was probably going to be more like 3:30....now I'm running into an issue, my movers in Denver could have come down and started at 8am, but wanted to give Fred the chance to correct the first weekend. He didn't get there until almost 4pm, my ring camera lit up with the time so I have it on film. They walked in without masks, Fred came downstairs and immediately lit into me about how I didn't tell him the size of the move, etc etc...told me off for about 10 minutes, and said he was going to walk...leaving me high and dry on my weekend before a house closing....strange, didn't know it was my responsibility as the client to explain to him the story on my move, even though I mentioned several times on the personal call with him, we were moving out....he griped me out, ran me all over the house getting things he thought I should get ready for them to load then didn't load or use...and said he was tired from the work day and only could give me 2 hours. It actually ended up being more like 1.5 hours, and half my truck filled, he said there was no way we would get the rest of the big stuff in this 26 ft truck...he had done it for 30 years, and didn't say it, but insinuated several times I was an idiot(idiot with 45+ moves, and a masters degree)...I paid them what he said I would have to pay $585 including the weekend before, travel time, and 2 hours for that day when it was really closer to 1.5 the second weekend, and nothing close to filling the truck. So Fred left me high and dry. I had the house closing on Tuesday 3 days away, so he screwed me pretty good...I immediately called the contractor guys that worked for me on the house for the last 1.5 years, 2 retired fireman from Woodland Park, they launched over to the house, were there in 30 minutes, took us 2 hours to finish loading the truck...and WE DID INDEED get all the big stuff into the 26 ft truck, and I went back to Denver with a full load. We were out on Monday and closed on Tuesday as planned. Again, it looks like others had a different experience, and happy for them, but my move was a @#$@#$ nightmare with these guys, and they almost screwed my closing. My fireman buddies know everyone in Woodland Park, and alot of people in CO Springs, and already started spreading the word. They are highly respected, and treated us like family because we take care of those that take care of us. I would have done the same with FJC and Fred if I had been treated with even a modicum of respect. I work with clients every day in my job, and i smooth over tough/bad situations as a Director of a Software Company, I deal with this for a living, and know how to make customers happy, I am not a tough customer, the only thing I expect is the same respect I give others...I got ZERO respect from these guys, and honestly was treated as if I were a moron. I don't appreciate big egos.

We tried every way we could think of to get it in the house and up the stairs ... not only was the item large and heavy ... it was also delicate and complicated to move, given its design, electrical wiring, motor and hydraulics. Clearly we were out of our league and needed help. It was 4:45 pm. on a Wednesday. We found On Call Moving's info online, called the number, and connected immediately with Jim. Jim was a Godsend! He was scheduled to be down the street from us, and made a quick trip to our home to see how he could help. Over the next few days he worked closely with Joleesa, at On Call's office, to get our job done. Despite On Call's extremely busy schedule, everything came together Friday afternoon. Joleesa called to get us in their system. Jim arrived with a three-man crew: Jesse, Sergio and Carlos. Everyone was super polite and respectful, professional, skilled at their job and well prepared, bringing clean moving blankets and securing tie downs. Jim, Jesse, Sergio and Carlos communicated with us and with each other calmly, clearly, thoughtfully and effectively. Together they got the job done safely and efficiently ... most importantly, with no injuries ... and happily, with no damage to the item or our home. The larger companies tended to outsource work to other small movers that had terrible reviews or thin histories, and the risk of unknown players employing random hirelings was not worth a marginally lower price. Our piece of mind in knowing that a single crew would be accountable for the entire job was crucial. It was great for us to build a rapport with one team who both picked up our whole house and delivered it to in Vegas. We had lots of vintage furniture and art, and we knew we needed some extra help to ensure that items were carefully wrapped, stacked, and packed onto the truck. Everything showed up intact, nothing broken, and the extra care that came with knowing the team allowed us to get a great value for our money - particularly when it came time to unload into our new home. The crew--Tanner, Benny, Ben, and Jonathan--were all professional, efficient, helpful, and very careful with our belongings. Movemasters packed the truck for my move, which I then drove myself out of state. At my destination, I used a different moving team, and the contrast in professionalism was huge.     I cannot say enough good things about The Other Side Movers. I had never hired movers before and…read moredidn't know what to expect- in addition to this being an incredible program, the team that I worked with was communicative, efficient and gentle with my items. I moved within Denver, and they met at my first location, moved the boxes to the truck quickly- I mean SPRINTING when they weren't carrying my items. They got to the new location and the team split in such a way that two guys were running up to unload items as one guy in the truck was putting items on carts/ handing them down so items were always moving and there was no moment that they weren't keeping everything flowing. In addition to all of these, the cost was within my budget and I cannot say enough how great this team was. Nate, Anthony and Tyler, you guys are AWESOME and (though I hope I don't move any time soon) you can bet that I'll be using The Other Side Moving again for my next move! (My friends are probably annoyed because I won't stop telling everyone I know about this company and that they need to use them for every move they can...)

    I basically paid $400 for my things(and house)to be broken. The guys that came were very nice and…read morelikeable guys, but they are obviously not professionals. After breaking my daughter's dresser, his response was just something about it being Temu furniture, which it is not. No apology, no anything. The front door to my house had the hinges ripped out of the door frame from them rushing furniture in and not being careful, and the door frame to my laundry room was damaged the most. They broke the legs off of my new dryer, the paint is now missing off of the side of said dryer, the door frame has paint and chunks of wood missing from them trying to just cram it in instead of taking their time. What's really infuriating is that we tipped them $50 each anyway, then they turned around and lied about what they did when we tried to file a claim about the broken items. ($50+ of what we paid was for "moving protection" and I guess their protection policy is just made up excuses. Their boss claims that we should have spoken up during the walk through, but there was no walk through when they were done. After the mover made the "Temu furniture" comment my husband decided he was over it and told them they could go. The "check out" process was a bit confusing and the mover didn't know how to do it either, so I just went to my email and clicked sign on what he told me to. We literally had just got to our new home when they pulled up and helped unpack the whole time, of course I'm not going to notice all the damages until after they leave. Over all the whole experience has been a joke. Again, nice guys, but no accountability for their mistakes and I'm more upset about them lying than I am them breaking our things.
