Luckily, I chose wisely with Dino Electric. Leo (the owner), is essentially a magician! Here's why: 1) he is responsive and timely; 2) he is friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering a perfectly modernized/upgraded aesthetic; 3) he is creative in that he can take an idea or concept that I have and offer suggestions that not only improve the overall value of my home but create a functional space for me to enjoy; 4) he is patient and willing to go above and beyond with all of my requests - and then some! (I am having him help me with a few unrelated-to-electricity projects due to his wide array of expertise); 5) he anticipates the customer's needs and completes the array of jobs with a pleasant attitude/demeanor. To give you an idea of the projects he has completed for me thus far (and there will be more to come in about a week), Leo has helped me with the following: 1) removed and replaced of two large ceiling fans (great room & bedroom); 2) replaced all outdated and energy-eating bulbed-canned lighting with modern, flat daylight canned lights (see photos); 3) installed of two high-end chandeliers (one of which required a new electrical position + fan mount) and one flush mount; 4) removed and replaced exterior garage light fixtures; 5) advised the purchasing of the proper lightbulbs for all fixtures; 6) removed outdated long-double-bulbed closet and laundry room lighting and replaced with canned modern, flat daylight canned lights; 7) removed old fixtures and capped existing electrical mounts. Leo, as I stated, will be returning to help me with a few more projects and I plan to update this review with that work as well. At this point, I feel I have found my "go-to" person for all things electric ... and then some! Please do yourself a favor and hire Leo. You will not regret it. Before he said he could begin he said he had to look at the electrical panel to make sure it was safe. He took the cover off and proceeded to tell me I need a new panel, had multiple problems. The panel is fine, but he did find 2 ground wires on the neutral which I thanked him for. I asked him if he would fix the simple problem with the fan control, said he didn't have the part. Universal parts are available for $29 on Amazon, he carried nothing on his truck. After I told him to put my cover back on my panel, he did, then gave me an estimate for $425. This company MAY be a good choice for large projects, but I would never call them for common problems. He was more intersted in selling me work on my panel or a new panel. When I said I would not go ahead with the work (grossly over priced) he then informed me of the $49.95 for the service call. Which I paid and then asked him to leave.

After Thursday nights storms we were left with half a home of electric working. The AC was not one…read moreof those things that was working. We had a local man come out to assess who said the job was just not doable for him at that point. He had too many other appointments scheduled and what we needed would take up more time than he had. So he recommended Red Royal. They came out that same day and told us what the problem was. Power from the pole died due to the line being old and it not being buried in a tube. Replacement needed. They were out the following day and started digging WITH SHOVELS. They almost finished the job but the part they needed to connect to the box was not available until Monday. Back early on Monday they got the power going. Inspectors came out (Dunedin) and approved the job. They came back out and buried the line and left it looking like brand new. I cannot give enough props to the two men that were out here. Professional and hard working + friendly. We recommend Red Royal to everyone. Cannot say enough positive things about them. ZERO negative things. Thank you Red Royal for getting our home back up and running as quickly as possible.
