Fast forward to February of 2024! I noticed that the HVAC unit did not seem to be working properly. I contacted Diane at AC & H of Tampa Bay and she set up an appointment to have one of their technicians inspect my HVAC unit. The next morning, Bobby thoroughly inspected my HVAC unit and upon completion he advised me he wanted to speak with the staff at the main office because of concerns he had regarding my condenser unit. Thirty minutes after he left my residence, Bobby called and advised me that the condenser unit needs to be replaced. The main office later called me to set up a date and time to have this work done. On the date and time promised, Jeff and Jose from the AC & H of Tampa Bay arrived with the new condenser unit and began the installation process. By the afternoon, my new condenser was up and running. Before Jeff left, he advised me he wanted to schedule a return visit when the outside temperature was warmer to insure the pressures in the unit were correct. He explained the work he did and reassured me that this defective unit was merely an adoration. I fully understand that on occasion any part in a mechanical device can fail. What I must point out was the professionalism displayed by this company from every single employee. They were kind, courtesies and were genuinely interested in getting my HVAC problem repaired. The labor was under an extended warranty I had with AC & H of Tampa Bay along with a warranty from the manufacturer of the condenser unit. All costs associated with the unit and its replacement labor costs were covered by that warranty! A warranty with Air Conditioning & Heating of Tampa Bay means exactly that, they stand by their word and you are covered! This is a family owned and run company and it shows. The are dedicated, professional and most of all HONEST! If you need your HVAC system repaired or a new one installed, these are the people to go to. Even then, it took three separate inspections before the system passed because Hot2Cold failed to fill out the paperwork correctly and failed to do the job correctly. Now, it's two years later, and the system is not working. I called for a service call but was told that it would be over $250 because it was a weekend. I was sold a 10-year warranty for parts and labor, but now they tell me I must wait until Monday or pay a $250 fee because it's the weekend. I contacted the sales representative who sold us the system (James Thornsberry), but he had moved to Birmingham, AL. I am still waiting for a representative to contact me about getting the HVAC system serviced. The forecast is in the upper 90s today, and it's too hot in the house. We recently moved my mother-in-law into the house with us to care for her, and this heat could present medical issues with her. I am embarrassed that I was conned by Hot2Cold. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

He did not have one on the truck so he said it would be $200 to drive and pick it up and then $200 to take out the old one and put the new one in. It literally took the guy 5 minutes to take out the old motor, and I felt this was too much to pay so I called Craig W. Krueger and was told there was a $70 service call and about $150 to put a new motor in. I asked when could they be out, and I was given a 2 hour window. I then asked Avalon if they would match the price and he said: HE DOES NOT HAGGLE PRICES AND THAT IS WHAT HE CHARGES. He then got mad at me and grabbed my motor and put it on the driveway and left!! Ed from Craig W. Krueger was at my door in an hour and a half and did an awesome job of fixing my motor and blown transformer, and DID NOT TRY TO PRICE GOUGE ME!!!! Ed was at my house for 5+ hours. He then serviced my outside unit and now it blows nice ICE COLD AIR! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND AVALON TO ANYONE!!!THIS COMPANY IS A RIPOFF TO ANYONE WHO DOES NOT GET A SECOND OPINION ON PRICES!!!!
