Five stars is not enough for Izzo Electric. He went above and beyond I had a problem where the powerline from the pole to my house disconnected. Called Izzo sent him a few pictures. He turned around and said it was Duke energy issued to deal with. He offered to call Duke Energy for me and ask them to get over to my house and fix it not charging me a thing. This is the type of service that we all need. He has made a new customer and he will be the first one I call if I ever need electrical work done at my house. Dan and his team are great! We have had some unfortunate experiences with other electricians in the area, and Dan came recommended through some neighbors. He was super responsive and was able to help me out with a few questions and projects in a super timely manner. His team had to do a little bit of rewiring on an older property, and installed ceiling fans and new light fixtures throughout the home. His technicians were polite and thorough. Not the cheapest but also not the most expensive option you'll find, and I'd rather work with Dan any day because he is just way more responsive and accountable. We requested a replacement of a bathroom ventilation fan and an attic light. The fan was standard but we knew the light in the attic was anything but since the house is 100 years old. However, Kevin from izzo came and had to do a great deal of trouble shooting as the electrician who wired this addition was not the brightest bulb in the house. He got everything working despite the previous substandard work. He was on time and ended with a very fair price. It was also quick and easy to schedule. I had guests in our Sunset Beach home that could not for the life of them figure out how NOT to trip a breaker nor turn it back on (yes I know old house needing more circuits). Dan was more than understanding that I could not go over to fix this myself. He came out and the guests said was "super nice, no attitude at all" after finding how easy this was to fix. They said he was just as patient and respectful when he came 2 days later and had to reset the breaker and point out which two things not to plug in at the same time. When they left I had Dan right back out to add additional circuits and some extra lights and outlets. They worked almost an entire day and Dans prices were unbelievably reasonable for the work done and amount of man hours. I will definitely be having them back out and now have his number listed in our Property Welcome Manual so guests can call him if they can not reach me. 5/5 would recommend! This is the second time working with Dan and Izzo Electric. The first time I called him for a quote on a complete rewire of a house we were potentially buying. He showed up promptly, on time, with less than 1 days notice. He did a detailed review of the property and gave a very fair quote. Second time, he came to my other house to install a light fixture in the kitchen. He was here about an hour, worked quickly and was very clean. The area the light was being installed didn't have all the correct wiring that was needed, so he explained my options and allowed me to pick what worked best for me. He was still able to get the job done and I'm beyond satisfied with the outcome. It looks great!! I got a quote for a new other "nice to haves" so I'll definitely have him back soon to check those off the list. I call Izzo Electric yesterday 11/15/2019..I had a problem in my kitchen with 4 outlets (they were not working).. I call Izzo Electric and they responded back with-in 2 hrs. Dan said they were on the south side of St. Petersburg on a job but would be at my home with-in 2hrs I am on the North side. They sent a technician over in a hour 1 1/2 . The technician Jerry was great. He walk in and with-in 1 second reset the safety button on the electric outlet and all four outlets were working. My wife and I are senior citizens and yes I was willing to pay a reasonable fee for there services. Jerry was in and out of my home in 10 Minutes, he call his boss (Dan) I was charge $100 dollars. I think This was a little to much for 10 minutes.. I a 10 minute service call should have been around $50 dollars. My mistake I'll pay,but don't rip Me off... read more

I called Izzo Electric to install a 220 volt 50 amp outlet in my garage for an electric car I bought. Due to my work schedule, I needed a fixed time appointment, which required their first call for the day a few days out. I was texted an hour before the appointment time to confirm. Very curtious. The two man crew who came out were great and cleaned up very nicely after themselves. Here is where the review gets a little comical. Later in the day I plug the car charger into the new socket and I can't get it to fit !!! After frustration I call Izzo stating the issue. Within 30 minutes, the head man comes out and puts the charger in the new socket with some umph behind it. Problem solved !!! I felt like an idiot, but the professionalism was outstanding. My only regret is I can't rate more than five stars. BTW I felt the service call fee to install the 220 volt outlet and new slot in the breaker box was fair. Highly recommend !!!! read more
