I just had a nasty encounter with that turns out to be the owner of this gym. He had a bunch of kids and teens working out in the parking lot in front of another gym, NOT his gym in the plaza parking lot, as I'm pulling in I notice them and slow down inching my way through and at no point does he tell them to move and let my car through I finally pull close to the door of the other gym as I am dropping off my own kid he throws out a belligerent comment of how I need to watch out. My kid goes into her gym, and I start to try to pull out and the same guy won't 1. move out of the way 2. tells the kids to keep training, I'm sitting there for a moment then roll my window down and ask him to move and he goes off - very nasty. I at no time honked my horn, yelled at him or kids or used vulgar language or tell him he couldn't be in the parking lot I just asked him to move out of the way so I could get through. He even went as far as to walk in front of my car and block me then turned his back to me all the while yelling and being very nasty. It just so happened that two police officers walked out of nearby cafe and walked over and asked me what is going one- I explained that the guy is blocking the way and won't move to let me leave, as I'm just dropping off my kid at her gym and he's in the way- to which they walk over to him and ask him to move. and wave me by. I have let my gym know of this incident. I happen to look up this guy's gym and one of the pictures posted says "Attitude reflects leadership" that is a JOKE , I in no way would want that kind of coach teaching my kids. I even have a picture of this guy just blocking my car that I am adding with this review read more

I'm absolutely appalled at the behavior of the owner of this establishment. As I'm approaching the gym, to experience a much anticipated work out, I see the owner, Flaco, and a member fighting in the parking lot! Initially I thought they were just joking around w each other, but as I drew closer, Flaco was yelling (loud enough to draw a crowd) expletives and insults that children, which were also present, as well as adults should never hear! It was nothing short of a violent. inappropriate display of immaturity and blatant disregard for anyone present. If this is the way the owner conducts himself, I believe there should not only be a ban by existing members, but also a search for prospective members to seek a new gym. read more

What can I say about Flaco's Community Gym...first I have to speak of the man you guys know as Flaco, I grew up with him in Brooklyn & he was always a good kid & he's an even better man I am proud of him. I went with my 2 girls & Milton was great with the kids as well as adults, this is real hard core "Rocky" training but very welcoming & not intimidating...his whole staff was very kind & friendly. Juelz you will be a great boxer one day & if you want REAL training not no b.s. this is the place to be. I was there 3 days & I met 4 pro boxers, 2 world champions, a Patriots player & a rapper..I highly recommend this place if your serious about training in an excellent environment with AMAZING people! read more
