Let me start with a very clear recommendation: Try to avoid this place. The managers of this place seem to accomplish the unlikely: To run a ridiculous windsurfing school at a place that appears to be perfectly located for such an enterprise. We (as a couple) booked both a one-day course as well as material for one day. The teacher was supposed to pick us up at 9 o'clock at the hotel. At a quarter to 10, a guy turned up who made the impression of having had a joint too much the night before, of being tormented by a terrible hangover. Irritatingly, he started by lying to us that he had been there before the very same morning (which he surely hadn't) and asking for more money, since the price for renting material communicated to the travel agent was apparently wrong. He then picked up a couple of other people, collected the material, and then drove us to a spot close to Majanicho. Indeed, the condition of the material was quite appalling: The boards were literally falling apart, with the top layer of plastics departing from the core, were incomplete, the sails were small and in a bad shape. What followed was a course were people were largely left alone, with hardly any active teaching being detectable. What is more, I personally had only rented the material (so was not involved in the course), and it was quite a disgrace to get such a pile of worthless rubbish for a price that top places at the Lake Garda would ask for for top notch new material. The teacher made a most irresponsible impression: Had anything happened, he probably would rather have smoked a joint to calm down his own nerves than to intervene. At the end of the course, another teacher from that school drove us back. The glorious end of our interaction with this school was that the teacher named us a third random price for renting material, so that in the end, we paid yet more than the previous teacher had told us (again, a ridiculous price for the rubbish given to us). It seems hard to imagine a way of how to run run a windsurfing school in a less professional manner. Having said that, the day was of course great fun, but only because the island is magic, I was there with my partner and we were having a great time.
