Great farmers market in downtown Flagstaff. This market is on Sundays March-October, which was a nice change-up from the usual Saturday morning routine. Several vendors selling produce, meats, handmade crafts, and a whole lotta food trucks - way more than Columbus' Worthington and Clintonville farmers markets. I stopped at a chai vendor. Young guy has a few different samples of different chai teas. It was warming up outside pretty fast, so most of his were chilled. I tried the four different chais and, wow!, I immediately fell in love and bought one to bring back home. I loved the general feel of this market, great eclectic mix of makers, farmers, and food. Plus, the green space was wonderful: People laying out on blankets, conversing with friends, just and overall great community vibes. read more

One of the biggest and bestest farmers market. Though there wasn't much produce products this day, I noticed the next day it had way more and different vendors. This was so fun and recommend coming to one if you're coming up flagstaff. Everything was great and the vendors all were unique and helpful. Flagstaff Community Market encompasses several different markets: the Sunday farmers market that runs from May through October, the downtown community market that runs Wednesdays during the summer, the Urban Flea Market that is every second Saturday from June to October and todays Sleigh Winter Market. Great produce and meat that comes from all over the state at the farmers markets but primarily from farms in Flagstaff, the Verde Valley, Paulden and Chino Valley. So tasty and fresh! Proof Bakery comes up from Mesa and they have the best baked goods! Fantastic dog treats from Mountain Peaks Dog Treats, jars of love from Lillie Mae's Pickled Garden, handmade greeting cards from Black Cat Occasions and all kinds of other cool stuff loved by the Flagstaff community! Great food trucks and prepared foods...we love Stanzi's, Sugar Skull Rolling Cafe, Safari Samosas, Old Town Creperie and Falahs Mediterranean! At times, you'll also find great entertainment! The Yoties performed at one of the summer, Wednesday markets! Incredible to have dinner and listen to awesome music at this late afternoon-evening market! I loved this farmers market! The weather was nice and it is a decent size with a variety of different vendors. There is also Art in the Park which is within walking distance and is also a great place to explore. It is also in downtown flagstaff which is a great place to walk around and explore. read more

Meh . Mostly vendors selling things . There were NO fruits available for sale . Only one guy had decent vegetables that were fair priced . Maybe next week there will be someone with fruits . Very disappointed that locals don't bring their own reusable bags , they are very behind the times. I am not a believer in "climate change" , but I do believe only losers litter , and we need to protect our natural resources . read more

Fun, but small- which isn't bad, open market mid week. The food smells phenomenal- the line for the one food "truck" we really wanted to try was a bit too long so we passed but maybe next time we will get there early because it really did smell SO GOOD. There were a few other food and drink options too. The crafts here are more plentiful than the Sunday Farmer's Market that is held at city hall- though, Sunday's market has far more produce and "grocery" items. There were a few pottery/hand made ceramics choices that we were very intrigued by. Our favorite Oak Creek Apple Cider gal was there too which was great since we were out of our tonic. Overall it was a great experience and definitely worth the mid-week outing. However, I think both markets, the Sunday and Wednesday are worth every minute spent there. read more

Good news, folks! COVID appears to be over in Flag, because I saw maybe 200-300 people and I can probably count one hand how many people were masked. The produce selection was excellent and there were lots of vendors for just about everything: breads, popsicles, pet treats, bakeries, produce, jewelry, honey... it was a good selection. You're going to pay more at a farmer's market, but supporting locals is what it's all about. Lots of fresh food vendors for breakfast burritos, etc. read more

I love coming here to purchase veggies and veggie plants. You can pick up fresh eggs and good eats. Check out the Lebanese food stand when you walk in they are on the right. Need fresh flowers you will find plenty. Want to het your dog fix there are plenty of pooches for the petting. read more

We went to the farmers market today for the first time and it was incredible. It's super well organized with the prepared food/food trucks along one aisle, then the produce, meats, flowers, etc in the other aisles. We ate great food first with my boys getting crepes and the rest of us getting breakfast scrambles and breakfast burritos from chef John. All of it was absolutely delicious!! We then went shopping....The produce was more than you would pay, obviously, from the grocery store but it's fresh and ripe and unique! One of our goals was to get some vegetables that we never heard of before. I can't wait to cook the banana squash! Dogs are no longer allowed but there is a dog treat stand and my dogs love the treats! We absolutely loved the market, the vibe, the food, the produce, and the coffee! Great variety - not too many non-food vendors. Peeves me when you go to a 'farmers market' and it is mostly crafts and junk. I suggest they move locations where the is more parking. It is not convenient at all to park there. read more

There's some fun stuff here as well as fresh veggies and flowers. But, dogs need to be banned. The area is tight for the number of shoppers, and adding dogs and leashes to the mix makes it worse. I say this as a dog lover. This isn't the place for them. read more

I'm a farmers market junkie. This one did not disappoint. It's mid-sized. Lots of sauces, baked goods, local chocolate and other unique products. Several poultry, meat and egg vendors. Not as many fruit and veggie vendors as I would expect, but definitely enough. Some neat local products like squash blossoms, roasted peppers and amaranth greens. This was my first time at this farmer's market. It had a good assortment of different vendors (selling grassfed beef, organic and local grown veggies, face painting, food trucks, etc). I got some great REASONABLY PRICED soaps from "The Crazy Goat Lady" (4 for $10 + a free ChapStick!) and will probably buy some veggies the next time I go. :) read more

Came up on a Sunday and were generally pleased. The place gets crowded early and parking is a bit tight. Pretty good array of seasonal produce. All the produce and farm vendors were intermingled with food merchants and prepared foods. We were looking for produce and found the choices were very fresh, ranging from over-priced ($3 for a small bunch of green onions) to real bargains ($3 for a large bag of freshly picked organic apricots). Some "shoppers" were there to show off their dogs as much as shop, and it got a little tiresome navigating all the canines. If you like the idea of buying freshly picked produce direct from source, this is a good bet--just don't expect to beat the prices at Whole Foods. read more

Love coming here for the fresh produce the vendors are friendly and will talk with you. It can be a little expensive but that's typical of most farmers markets. Very dog friendly too. I would suggest going early because parking can be an issue. Lots of choices for breakfast too. I highly recommend the vegan breakfast burritos. Super delicious! The vendor that sells goats milk soaps, lotions, and bar soap is wonderful! I also loved the vegan macaroons with chocolate. Bring bags and a hat and enjoy!!! read more

My wife and I went to the Farmers Market on Sunday, (7/27/2014) we live easy 30,40 miles away. We took a cool ride up the canyon, felt like fall. We love Flagstaff, we usually spend the day. We started at the Farmers Market, but this time was different the place was out of control with dogs. Dogs were everywhere I am not kidding. people were coming with 2 or 3 dogs together. If someone was at a booth with there dogs, you couldn't get to the booth.now it is very easy to spend a 100 bucks there easy. The whole time I was there I was getting bumped into by dogs. There were even little dogs in big strollers dang. I even found my wife in the car saying to many dogs and she loves animals as well. she has a bad leg and almost got knocked over more then once.( I wonder who is libel if she got knocked over and got hurt HUMMM!!! Then we went over to Macy's to get a cup and relax, well good in theory, there were 3 dogs tied out front when we got there 2 dogs just kept barking, (the sign says no unattended dogs allowed) yet there they were barking the whole time. Needless to say we went to sprouts and went home . we will be going to Prescott farmers market instead they only allow service dogs and pretty much the same vendors.
