We walked around once, decided to walk the dog nearby for a bit to give them some more time, then came back to go around again. We had tried LOQUITA COCINA which was at the front of the entire market, who was selling breakfast and lunch burritos. Friends had gotten the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito where i got a lunch chicken burrito. salsa available for an extra $2. delicious burritos and friendly owner I had picked up some local Arizona honey from PAYNE GULCH next stall over too. They had each honey labeled with its various "uses" too like antiseptic, anti-inflammatory or if its good for headache, stomach ache, etc. I asked which was the most unique and they didn't really give me an answer but they said the "orange blossom" honey was the purest you can get, so i tried that. Honestly dont really know differences in honey We had originally came here to try CHEEKY KIWI CONES but they "called out" due to the smokiness in the air due to the recent Pocket Fire just north of Sedona. SAD Nice little market to visit in the morning if you are nearby. Tomatoes and pies looked good too.

Typically there's some musical entertainment going on and Windmill Park is gorgeous! I always try to plan my business in the Verde Valley for Thursday so I can hit up this Farmers Market from 2 PM to dusk.

Finally the manager who helped us was great. After that we requested no cleaning of our room since we are staying a few days , and they came in of course. We go outside almond step in dog crap in the parking lot and on the sidewalk. If it wasn't for the manager who actually helped us I wouldn't have given this place a 2 for rating would have been a 1. We have 2 days left, we are still here wish I wasn't. Maybe this is a rare for this place but I traveled 1600 miles to be here. Don't believe I'll be back or recommend this place!

It was nice to see all the local selections around the market and I was happy just to see what was there. They just recently had a grand reopening. I was not a regular here prior to it, but whenever I…read morevisited, I was always impressed by their selection of organic vegetables and locally produced products here including raw milk and cheese. Its definitely a quirky out of the way place and all the better for it, since it definitely fits a niche market. I was a little disappointed to see so many brand products here at the reopening, and for some reason it seemed that the prices were more expensive than before. However, it is still the CSA and I would recommend this for people who are hardcore about the quality of their food and the impact they make on the environment and community.
