Great drop in spot, very mellow and secluded with gulf access. Def will be back again and recommend.

The first time…read moreI ever saw bioluminescence was in Puerto Rico back in 2018, and it's still one of the most beautiful nighttime experiences I've ever had--right up there with seeing the Northern Lights. There's just something so magical about watching the water glow around you. We drove about 50 minutes from Orlando to Merritt Island for the tour, where we launched from the Indian River Lagoon, and it was absolutely worth it. This is one of those experiences that's really hit or miss, so keep in mind that the amount of bioluminescence you see isn't something the tour company can control. We got lucky because there was so much activity that night! We actually didn't kayak very far since the bioluminescence was so active right near the shoreline. We spent most of our time enjoying it from that area because there was no need to go much farther. Also, don't expect your phone camera to do it justice. It's incredibly hard to capture on camera, and it's so much more breathtaking in person. I highly recommend this experience to everyone, and I already can't wait to do it again!

HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK!…read more If I could give Mikey and this company negative stars I would. He started working on our boat back in February 2024 . It is now the end of September 2024 and he has not fixed the boat. He stopped communicating with me and I had no idea where my boat was for months. I begged him to do the work. II had to send him and his entire family "demand letters/intent to sue letters" and he showed up at my house today and dropped the boat of as he said "in the state in which he received it" so basically still broken and confirmed all the lies he told. He's had it for months and has done ZERO work on it. However, I don't know where he's had the boat for the past several months, but it's filthy and has clearly been left outside and not been taken care of so it's not in the same condition as which he got it. I'm certain when you hire a mechanic that is a binding contract saying that he is going to make the repairs. Obviously, if he couldn't fix it and didn't know how to fix it he should've said that months ago yet he continuously said that he was going to fix it. So six months later, its back here and in worse shape then when he got it. I'm going to follow through with our intent to sue and find another mechanic. Some may wonder why we let it go this far after all the being he was doing. Great question! He and his parents had a personal relationship with my father and it was my father that recommended him. So we tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, Look where that got us, two disabled veterans on a fixed income and we've lost months of money and the boats gone to crap and even worse than it was when he took it. We've paid months and months of money into this thing snd nothings fixed. I'm going to get on will deal with this now. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK! So, before you call Mikey to do work on your boat feel free to reach out to me. I have the past six months worth of communications/lack of communications with him. I also have text messages and emails about the condition of the boat and what he did/did not do which all turned out to be lies. I also have text messages saying that he was out of town and having family problems and where about 15 minutes from us partying fishing, riding tractors, riding horses doing all kinds of stuff except for fixing our boat. This is not some baseless bad review. He was given every chance to make it right. Now he will have to deal with it in court.

We walked past every booth, exploring what each one served, foods, trinkets, T shirts and other hand made craft items. We settled on grouper sandwiches from burger boyz, a Hispanic twist on some of the worst foods we've ever eaten. I just wanted clam strips. (You usually get a good sized portion) not this place! 2 huge scoops of nasty, cold rice with very little flavor and it was a bit mushy. Then a tiny cup , half filled with soured coleslaw. Just a handful of small clam strips. When I say small, I mean half the size of a normal clam strips. They were ok. $10.00 for a very watered down lemonade. The food and drink cost close to $40.00!!!! Lousy food, lousy service! Now the funnel cake was from a food truck called, A fork in the road. THEY are the only reason for 2 stars. The funnel cake was fried to a golden brown and loaded with powdered sugar. Very delicious. Their price $10.00, reasonable for how thick and large the funnel cake was. The 2 young men serving were pleasant and eagerly smiled as they held up their masterpiece. There were tents set up with tables and chairs. But, there were no lights so we had to eat in the dark. There was a band playing. They were pretty good, playing rock and roll. To be honest with anyone reading this review, we will not go back to one of these seafood festivals. The food was terrible, the service was bad and the prices were ridiculously stupid! Definitely not worth the money. By the time we made it home, none of us were feeling good. We were bloated, a bit nauseated too. Sorry to say, but this was the worst seafood festival we've ever been to.

It's definitely not made for adults to go swimming in, but great for kids. They just want to play in the water and the sand. The sand is good, they even have a handicap walk out on the beach to make it easy for those in wheelchairs. They do not have any beach wheelchairs, however, at least that's what I was told by someone who worked there. They are very few handicap parking spots.
