    Wakeboard rental, vest and helmet.

We stopped here for my husbands 50th birthday. They have wakeboarding which he loved, and a lovely beach. Even though it isn't the ocean, it looks like Pinellas county beaches. The bathrooms were clean and nice, the swim area is very small, but the people (both the staff and they other customers) are incredibly kind. We were blown away. The wakeboard operator was engaged with the people going offering helpful tips and tricks with a smile. Thanks for offering such a fun place to hang out or play in Pasco/Hernando County! To park at the beach, it is $5. The wakeboarding and the on the water obstacle course are extra $$- but WELL worth it.

Beautiful and quiet place to relax. It's going to be my place for relaxation. It's also nice when there are events here. There's plenty of room for events.

Awesome little gem of a beach! Very family friendly with bathrooms, fresh water showers, and a food truck that serves fresh tasty hot dogs, piña colada's, snow cones, and all types of great refreshments. The beach it's self is small but not too small, perfect size for it not to get too over crowded. There's lots fun water activities for family and kids to enjoy. The water is clear with a white sandy bottom. Also parking is only $5 for all day. Great place to come make memories with loved ones on a trip to FL.

Went to this park for the second time recently for the Crab and Shrimp Festival on a sunny Sunday. The festival was well organized, with lots of food trucks and merchandise vendors. My husband and I stopped at a t-shirt vendor selling 50 spf color printed shirts with a fish and mermaid themes for ourselves and the grandchildren. The entertainment featured a great reggae trio from Land O Lakes, and a Justin Timberlake tribute performer, whose wife and 3 gorgeous children sat near us. This would be a great venue for a holiday party - I'm thinking 4th of July with a fireworks show - for Pasco County residents. Easy to get to off Route 19.

Local favorite, visitors welcome! I bring my family visiting from Alaska here. It's a much appreciated break from the beach, harsh salt water, and unknown sea critters. *COME EARLY, *BRING BEACH ESSENTIALS, *PLAN ON STAYING:) I'm 28 Y/O & I did the WAKE BOARDING ZIP LINE with my nieces who are 14 & 16. The staff was incredibly helpful the entire time! Wake board rental was roughly $48 per person for two hours. Well worth it for the experience! Due to covid the inflatable jungle gym "adventures" are closed. RESTROOMS available & FOOD TRUCKS on site. Parking $5. (Line to pay for parking gets lengthy, go there first).

What a gem! Stopped here with the fam after getting shut out if Wiki Wachee Springs due to full capacity. Couldn't be happier with the clean man-made springs beach, blue water and warm! Only regret is how expensive the kids' float waterpark thing is. $15 per kid for ONLY an hour? They enjoyed it but it was hefty $$

Hidden gem recommended by our Lyft driver that turned out to be great since the red tide wouldn't let us go to the beach! They offer an obstacle course that does tend to get packed and fills up quickly but is $15 for 45 minutes! Beach area is free and is a man made beach with what we believed was fresh water. They have several activities available, kayak, wake boarding etc and have a Groupon deal that makes it very affordable. Parking is only $5 all day BUT remember to pay at the pay station and place your receipt on your car's dash as they do not charge by license plate. Also, they have showers and bathrooms avaialiable and several food trucks with picnic tables by beach area. Overall great spot to visit if nearby springs are packed!

Prob more like 3.5 stars. Clearwater Beach or St. Pete Beach it is not. But if you're in this area it's nice to have a place to go to relax on the sand, have a snow cone, philly steak, listen to music outside, swim, play volleyball, rent a kayak or SUP (I think it's $10 for 45 minutes which seems a great way to give it a try... ) It's a former mine site that is now basically a large salwater lake. There's also an inflated water play area you can pay to access. Sunwest Park costs $5 per car load. There are lifeguards (and some cute ones at that..) They've done a bit of landscaping, there are showers and bathrooms, a covered picnic area. They brought in sand. Enjoy. Definitely a Hudson scene..

    Half of the course.

So fun! Went because the family wanted to, but was pleasantly surprised at how fun it is! Kids loved it. I think they are overpriced (that's why only 4stars) it's $15.00 per person, so for a family of four $60.. for only 45 minutes of course play. But the beach is free. Bring your own umbrella, there is ZERO shade.

After the show, I explored the rest of the park. It isn't that large but was a nice area and worth the $13 to get in. They have an area for swimming in part of the springs. I didn't bring my swimsuit but there were many people swimming and having a good time. There are some water slides too. They have a great gift shop. Loved having the opportunity to visit and see an iconic spot for mermaid lovers!

I've lived here for 7 years and have watched this community evolve--unfortunately, not always for…read morethe better. While there have been some positives, the overall direction, especially in recent years, has been disappointing. The biggest issue is a clear decline in customer experience. The Metro Development Group management team seems to have lost sight of what made this place successful in the first place: its residents. The very people who built the Lagoon's reputation are now being treated like an afterthought. One example is the entry process. Residents used to have a dedicated entry and bag check, which made sense and showed value for membership. That has slowly been phased out, leaving members stuck in long general admission lines. For a paid membership experience, that's simply unacceptable. Even more frustrating is the constant rollout of new systems that feel unfinished. Instead of leveraging existing member data, residents are repeatedly forced to re-register as if they're brand new. This creates unnecessary confusion--for both members and staff--and leads to avoidable issues. This past weekend, I watched a longtime "legacy member" family of five get told only the father existed in the system. The rest of the family had been removed and would need to enter as guests. That's not just inconvenient--it's embarrassing and unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. I had a similar experience myself. I used my membership card to check in and purchase a drink with no issue. Less than an hour later, the same card suddenly "didn't exist" in the system. I was forced to go through the entire setup process again. There's clearly a lack of consistency and reliability in their system. At this point, it feels like this location is being used as a testing ground for new processes rather than being properly managed. If that's the case, there's little evidence that feedback is being implemented or that improvements are being made for this community. Metro needs leadership with real hospitality experience--someone who understands how to run a high-quality, member-focused venue and deliver a consistent experience. If management is reading this: please remember what made this Lagoon successful. Invest in your residents, fix the systems, and bring back the level of service this community deserves. This was the first Lagoon in the U.S.--it should be one of the best, not one of the most frustrating.

After seeing this attraction posted all over TikTok and Instagram, when my mom was in town we…read moredecided to check it out for the first time. On the website, there is no indication that lounge chairs are first come first serve and free, so we rented the lounge chairs for the 3 of us in Cabana Cove. Then we had to pay admission on top of the lounge chair rental/reservation. 4 lounge chairs and 3 admission tickets added up to $280. We didn't think anything of it, because of what we saw on instagram: we were paying for an experience. Well; we definitely did! Upon arrival, the parking lot was blocked off at the end near the entrance of the park; so everyone was making u-turns in the parking lot. This park genuinely needs more greenery and trees, because it feels so industrial. It is covered in faux turf and concrete for the most part. We went to cabana cove to get our lounge chairs, and nearly all of them are covered in bird droppings. Kinda disappointing for something considered "VIP" in the park. On a hot day in Wesley Chapel, it's important to be able to beat the heat in the water. Only, the water here is completely disgusting. Imagine specs of miscellaneous debris floating around in the water, not to mention the thick layer of sunscreen on the surface of the water. Not to mention the water is ice cold, so it is nearly painful to get in the water after sweating in the burning heat. In addition to that, this is allegedly built to feel like a "beach", yet your view is quite literally someone else's driveway and garage across the pool. Yes, I said pool. There is nothing "lagoon" or "beach" about this place. Since we couldn't swim much, we decided to pass time and order food. The cocktails are pretty decent and mostly yummy. So that was an unexpected surprise. Still a bad idea to drink alcohol without a way to cool off. Anyways, the food was way below mediocre. Everything made with chicken on the menu is made with mushy, precooked chicken. The hummus platter is served with mushy vegetables. The only thing worth stomaching was the french fries which were actually pretty great. But again; the last thing I want in burning hot weather is fried food or alcohol. This is your friendly reminder to not believe everything you see on instagram! This place is good for children who don't care about these things, but most definitely not for adults. I would have been better off going to the beach, not mentioning saving OVER $280 between lounge chairs, simple admission, and food. Safe to say this will be my first and last time here.

There are restrooms here that make it easy to change your children into their bathing suits. They also have shaded picnic tables. I would highly recommend bringing swimsuits and all your water stuff if you decide to come here, because the playground part is quite small and in the same area as the splash pad. They aren't separated, so your child will most likely get wet whether you want them to or not if you come here, better to just prepare for them to get wet. Had a slightly traumatic experience today. My 7 year old got stuck (for 5 to 10 minutes) in the big slide which is pitch dark all the way through (fun but not when you get stuck) and he wasn't helped promptly. Full story - I was up there at the slide entrance and i could hear him screaming that he needs help. There was a staff up there (looked like a teenage kid) who had a walkie talkie. I assumed he would have informed the people in charge as soon as he got stuck. I kept talking to my son to lie down and try to push himself down and he kept responding saying he's trying everything but is still stuck and it is getting very uncomfortable. After a while I checked with the staff whether someone is coming to help. And then I see him telling on the walkie talkie "the boy is stuck on the slide can someone help?". I was shocked. It must have been a good 5 minutes (no watch, just guessing) and he just thought of informing?! By the time someone could come, my son finally managed to push himself down. I told the guy "you should have informed quicker" and his response was "talk to my manager". I thought "ok no use talking to the teenage kid he probably wasn't trained how to react in these situations". I went to the manager and told her "please train your staff to inform quicker" her response "he probably was sitting down, we cannot do anything about this" i go "No he was lying down this time.. first time he was sitting, but this time he was lying" she repeats "he probably was sitting; we don't promise how long it takes to slide; you eventually get down and that's what matters". Is this an empathetic response? I mean i get you have to stick to boiler plate legal language at times, but im not trying to sue anyone here. Im just looking for "i understand that must have felt scary, ill talk to my staff on acting quicker". I felt like I was talking to a robot both with the teenage staff and with the manager. Anyway, my husband intervened and helped the communication and both the manager and the teenage staff eventually apologized and i really appreciated it. Takeaway - If you're not staying in Holiday Inn, NorthShore Aquatic Center might be as fun for a fraction of the cost If you're staying in Holiday Inn, avoid the blue slide or go shirtless (another staff pointed out that might have helped) I see other reviews as well about untrained and disengaged teenage staff. Highlander park hosts many community events here including the annual Dunedin Celtic Festival which I had the pleasure of attending many moons ago. If you're in Westchase, Oldsmar, Dunedin, or Clearwater, I highly recommend making a short drive to Dunedin's Highlander Park to give your kids hours of fun!

Facility: This place is nice and a good size for the kids to roam. Service: Well, we discussed this amongst our family several times as we dealt with both rude and horrible staff and kind and friendly staff. You can definitely tell those who enjoy their job and those that need to find a new line of work, because customer service and client interaction is not their forte. LOL! Food: we bought all day dinning and drinks, which is definitely the right way to go. The drinks alone pay for themselves. Unlike other big parks, everything on their menus seems to be available on the all day dinning versus only certain choices... so that is great!! You get one entre choice (chicken tenders, burger, ribs, tacos, fish sandwich, pizza, etc), one side (fries, salad, fruit, mac and cheese, coleslaw, etc) and 1 dessert (cupcake, cookie, fruit, even a pickle, which I appreciated as I didn't want dessert) every 90 minutes. So no one went hungry. We even bring some ziplock bags so they can nibble on their pizza later. Most of the food was good, and some was really good. Overall: we had such a good time and we would definitely come back again. Tips: bring some bug spray, sunblock, water shoes and ziplocks.

My favorite parts were floating through Roa's Rapids surrounded by colorful lights and spotting the glowing jellyfish along the pathways. Even the beachfront cabanas lit up at night, making the whole park feel like a summer glow party. Of course, we couldn't pass up the Rainbow Cheesecake ice cream, and it ended up being one of our favorite treats of the night. Not only was it delicious, but it actually glowed too, which made it even more fun. AquaGlow is one of those experiences that makes you feel like a kid again. If you're looking for a different way to enjoy Aquatica this summer.
