After looking through Brian's impressive portfolio and sitting down with him to talk, we decided to hire him for our wedding and engagement shoot. Brian completely exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Brian is not only very reliable, but he is also extremely dedicated to his work. Brian drove over 90 miles to get to our engagement photo shoot and on the way he stopped at a gas station on the south side of Chicago where he stepped on two nails, which punctured his foot. Although we insisted that we reschedule so he could take care of himself, he still arrived (early, as his style) ready to shoot our session. He carried his equipment on his back on his injured foot for miles around Chicago, and took some of the most breathtaking photos I have ever seen. Brian helped us to feel completely comfortable the entire time. I remember being impressed with how he can walk backwards, get to know us better by carrying on a conversation, assess the lighting of the area around him, all while shooting pictures that made our families cry and that we will treasure forever. We are happier than ever that we chose Brian and his assistant Greg to shoot our wedding on July 13, 2013. On the day of my wedding, I didn't have time to notice all of the details that I previously spent so much time planning. Brian perfectly captured all of these details in his photographs. There were many shots that I would have never thought to ask him to take, but because of his professionalism and experience he provided these pictures for us. Most importantly, Brian captured the moments that happen so quickly.. but that I will remember forever. Because of his talent, I have photos of my mom trying not to cry as I step into my dress, my grandmother giggling with the woman who was doing her make up, my groom's first teary look at me, and so much more. Mother and daughter. WHAT? The photos they took are so average in scope and quality. SO disappointed. We had "the wife" as our photographer and she was all about the groom's family - taking many pictures of that family. When it came to MY family - and I was paying for the service she was stingy and did not take the "money shots". There was very little creativity in the pictures, either. Very stagnant posing.... It's a moment that has come and gone and can never be replicated. Thank GOD I had friends and family that took very artistic photos of the day. Surprised this company is still in business...and the photography on their website is deceiving.

Before booking, I confirmed that all edited photos would be delivered, and that commitment influenced our decision. After the party, everything changed. We had to repeatedly chase updates, promised delivery dates kept slipping, and communication became increasingly difficult. When the gallery was finally shared, several important guest, family, and backdrop photos were missing. We also requested portrait photos during the event, but many were never delivered. The quality of several photos was disappointing as well. There were numerous images that were poorly composed, captured people's backs, or simply didn't preserve the important moments we expected from a professional photographer. What hurt the most was how our concerns were handled. Instead of empathy or accountability, we encountered defensiveness and were eventually told the matter was closed. I hope other families don't have to experience this with such an important milestone.

He paid her…read moreinitial fee and then after the shoot we asked about getting some digital images of the shoot. She quoted us over $1,000 for just TEN digital photos. No paper prints. I feel taken advantage of. If I would've known the price of only 10 digital pictures I would've taken more photos myself. Now we are left with very few images of one of the happiest moments of our lives. The experience truly leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. Very dissatisfied!!

We ended up paying over $1300 for 11-8x10 photos. No digitals were included or offered. Such a shame. She needs to be more transparent about pricing and become more realistic about how to price in today's market.
