The other posters were absolutely correct, this IS an awesome venue. The venue is out in the country, the drive to get there is scenic. (Note: The drive is out in the country on twisty country roads where your phone may get confused. Our Garmin gps did, as did several other guest's phones. A map is a good idea to include with the invitation!) The grounds are lovely. The wedding chapel itself was an old country church that was moved to the property and restored, and is very quaint. As you'd expect from a "Farm", there's several barns and outbuildings, and all are nicely landscaped. (Note: The grounds, while beautiful, are certainly not ADA compliant, and may be a concern for mobility-challenged guests. Golf-carts may be available, but make sure before you need one. Others have mentioned the free-range burros and dogs, and this certainly was unique, except when one or more guests stepped in poop) There was some confusion about where to go once arriving at the venue. A "Jones/Smith Wedding THIS WAY" sign might have helped. The reception was in an enormous tent, which is wonderful in nice weather but may not be quite as nice if the weather doesn't cooperate. Be sure that you have a "Plan B" in case of a thunderstorm! No wedding venue will be perfect, so no matter where you go, ask the difficult questions as well as the easy ones!

This is a nice peaceful spot about 30 minutes away. Most of the sites here seem to be long-term for the summer And our Park homes or RVs with permanent attachments. The pool was really nice and it seems many people were enjoying it. The weekend nights were busy, but everyone appeared to leave on Sunday night, so it was very quiet the last couple nights. Most of the short term sites just have power and electric, but there is a dump site up by the office. The laundry room had two washers and two dryers and worked great during our stay washing was $2.75 and drying was a dollar for 45 minutes. They do have rolls of quarters at the front office. I do have to say that the staff here were super kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. We weren't here most of the time during the day since we were visiting our grandkids, but it looks like the kids here we're having great fun, fishing in the pond, catching fish and turtles! If you have the ability to bring your bikes, I would definitely do that as you are right next to the great bike trail. You can ride right into Savannah or other places. It's a very extensive trail.
