Chicken is cut so small and not a lot for a mini costing 9$ without rice. Some reviews call the grill into question , saw it was charred and gets on the chicken. The cook was banging the spatula on the grill trying to clean it for most of our time inside like a musical instrument which forced us to sit outside. Hands down 1 of my favs... always has been! Their menu choices/selection speaks for itself when it comes to "my personal healthy choices" when it comes to fast food venues! The Flame Broiler is the type of place that does not need an extensive menu with a wide variety of product choices... they are THAT GOOD! With that being said, this particular location could really use some helpful advice in regards to the ambiance of this particular establishment. I've frequented quite a few Flame Broilers in several different areas & I must say that the LHC location is by far the one that stands out in my mind as desperately in need of a "makeover" in regards to both inside and outside of this establishment! Especially since they're in a row of different places for dining & they're the ones who seem to be struggling in more areas than one... With that being said, they may want to take some advice from some of their fellow competitors/fast food venues in & around the area to ensure their doors remain open for business from this day forward... It would be a shame if the Flame Broiler ended up like one of the other "greats" in LHC that had to close their doors for good! (Taco Hacienda, Rebel BBQ, Mudsharks, etc..) read more

First time eating there and we think we would like it but... the grill needs to be cleaned better! It ruined the meal, glad only got a mini. The rice is never right & the last 2 times there were dozens of "grill boogers" in my food. Nasty! Don't you clean your grill? I have to repeat myself for the simplest order. This particular franchise is all over Southern Cali where I used to live but now I live in Vegas. Nothing against yall fellow Lake Havasuvians but we need this in Vegas! That being said, you guys are lucky to have one there. Why do I frequent this place? Im usually in town about twice a month for business purposes and I always make sure to eat here every time im in town. Now for the food. Their menu choices are very simple. Chicken, beef, or short ribs accompanied with veggies, salad, and an orange on a bed of white or brown rice. Come on folks, teriyaki is not a complicated dish! Anyways, not all teriyaki joints are created equal. There is only one place that deserves 5 stars from me and that place is in Seattle where I grew up. There's a Flame Broiler on every corner here in OC, so I wasn't surprised to see one open in LHC. I've been here a couple times and the people are always friendly, even if you come in right before they close (which is early... it is Havasu after all). They charge 50 cents extra for brown rice which seems like a rip. But I can say the food is always fresh and the place is pretty clean. I was here the other day and ordered 2 veggies bowls and the girl gave me a special price since I wasn't getting any meat. That was nice!! I will definitely be back. read more

My complaint is the cleanliness of the men and not washing there hands after sweeping and cleaning up the floor not washing his hands before going back and making food. And a male employee walked in to start working Never washing his hands wiped the inside of his nose and started making food. And coughing on the vegetables without covering his mouth. The lunch hour requires some patience, but so does every other place in town. The menu choices are endless with a variety of combos and fresh veggies available to every place! Prices are very low and the taste is among the best! I am a fan of the Teriyaki Beef and Chicken combo! Their proprietary sauce has a great flavor and I feel good after eating the food. Sodium levels seem within reason, unlike most Teriyaki restaurants, and there are quite a few coupons around town in various local magazines and in the newspaper! A must eat for a quick lunch if you are in the area! They are located in the Smiths plaza across from LHC Police and Fire. I highly recommend! Seating is a bit of a challenge, so be prepared to HAVE TO take food to go, as well this place is not fitting for groups for the same reason. read more

I would definitely call myself a regular here I eat it at least 3x a week. Being a vegetarian in Lake Havasu doesn't leave me with many quick lunch spots and the tofu bowls here are amazing. My fiancé used to get chicken and now orders the tofu because they are that good. Love all of their hot sauces and adding avocado on their bowls is a must. Been to many Flame Broilers and I love the food, but this place since it's been under new management it seems like the friendliness is gone and they skimp on the meat. More rice then anything and it was never like that before. I'm not sure if they have to make up the difference on the "now open 7 days", but it's very obvious they are trying to cut on corners to make it up financially.
