I love the option of hibachi grill in addition to all the choices on the buffet itself

We decided to give Hibachi Buffet another try after not going for several years, especially after seeing how much they've been promoting themselves on Facebook. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed and will not be returning. The cashier who helped us was very nice, but unfortunately that was about the only positive part of our experience. We were seated in a booth, and when my husband went for his first plate, he found very little to choose from. When I went to look, many of the stations were empty with very few food options available. We waited several minutes for our drinks, my husband eventually had to ask for them. When they arrived, they were flat. We thought maybe we had arrived during a food change, so we checked again, but there still wasn't much available. On top of that, I noticed significant water damage directly above our table, a very dirty thermostat on the wall beside us, and the booth had multiple cracks and holes that were actually pinching the backs of our legs. We barely ate and ultimately decided to leave. We really wanted to enjoy our visit, but unfortunately the food selection, cleanliness, and condition of the seating made for a very disappointing experience. read more

We stopped here because our family enjoys several Asian buffets back home and thought we'd give this one a try. Unfortunately, it wasn't a place we'd return to. We had a hard time finding anything that tasted fresh. Most of the food was either fried or heavily covered in sauce, and there weren't many lighter or freshly prepared options. The hibachi station was especially disappointing because it was out of meats every time we went back, making it difficult to actually enjoy one of the main attractions of the restaurant. While the prices are relatively inexpensive, I still felt it was expensive for the quality of the food we received. In the end, none of us ate very much, and we ended up going somewhere else for dinner afterward. The customer service was perfectly fine, and the staff was courteous. However, one thing that really stood out in a negative way was a young man handling food who had extremely long fingernails on both hands. That's simply not something I want to see from someone preparing or serving food I'll be eating. I hope they improve the freshness of the food and keep the hibachi station consistently stocked, because the restaurant has potential. Has everyone working at Hibachi Buffet given up? Including the owners? We've been here many times since they first opened and it's crazy how every time we eat here it gets worse and worse. This time was unacceptable. We won't ever come back. The young man working the register, serving drinks, bussing tables by and cleaning up around the whole seating area and buffet area was the only one really working and the only friendly person there. All the food looked old and dry, some worse than others and we had to ask a couple of times if they could make more because it looked gross and really old(what was left anyways) all of the desserts were literally hard as rocks, even my favorite donut sugar balls. Taste was off and they were hard and crunchy. I literally showed my hubs by jamming my fork in it (took three tries) and tapping it on the plate. Hard as a rock. Sushi looked and tasted great but the stir fry ingredients were all dried out, including the sliced meats. There was an older man there, the older always grumpy faced lady and the two younger girls there but they didn't do much. There was an older gentleman who walked in and stood waiting at the register for quite a while before saying "hello?!" I had to tell the young girl that the man needed help but she didn't help him. The older lady just stood at the back watching and the young man came running out from making drinks to help this man. Because when we got there everything was either old and gross looking or the tray we're almost empty, I didn't eat much. Oh and since all the desserts were old and rock hard hubs tried to get an ice cream but unfortunately there was none. Boo Sad that no one there seems to care about the quality of the food and service. There over an hr and not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Oh and the booth back rest was broken so the big guy seated behind me had me bouncing around in my seat every time he moved. Which he did a lot. Annoying. read more

If you don't mind the graffiti on the inside of the men's bathroom (It's really there, just look) it's a great place. The rest room is a little dark and it's run down, but it's clean and everything works. The tab for one person was $11.41 not including a soda, which sells for $2.75. The Chocolate Fountain is not there any more. The Mongolian Grill is, and so is the spicey chicken which remains full flavored. There are plenty of meat dishes and vegetable dishes as well. Came on a monday afternoon it was dead. The food was iffy, and didn't look very presentable. Their were dishes that we're mixed together. The sushi bar look like they had been sitting a while. Would not touch them. While sitting looked over to the back room and saw cold and flu medacine and pulls right next to their sweet n low in a shelf... eww. We came here Saturday around 7:30pm. It wasn't busy at all. Dinner Buffet is $14.99 and lunch is $11.99. Wished we were able to come early because they never refilled the crawfish so we didn't get to try it. I got to try the sushi, fried crabs, clams, fried shrimps, broccoli and cabbage. I think it's a good deal. Next time we will need to come earlier. They stopped refilling the dishes probably 7:30 or 8pm since they close at 9pm. If you want seafood, most will be gone if you come late. We saw a group come in after 8pm and that was the case. We moved to an empty table next to our original booth table since the seat was too slanted for one of our friends. The female staff wasn't happy about it and made it known to us. But there's plenty of empty tables! So that didn't sit well with us. read more

the staff was so friendly we tried really hard to enjoy a meal together but the food was absolutely terrible and old. The sushi was all hard rice. The lettuce was brown for the salad bar :( . I'm pretty sure we had terrible timing but we were there at 6 so no excuse for the lunch buffet still being there old and gross! Well take this from someone who used to LOVE the hibachi buffet but honestly now, trust me don't go. The food was well cold. I just wanted some chicken fried rice, (they didn't even know what that was.) The service is just horrible i just wanted something to eat and after maybe an hour they put out something edible. If you're in the area and need a quick bite that's decent and cheap, who doesn't love cheap Asian buffet. Female restroom is clean but a little run down. Food isn't the hottest right when they open since they just turned on their food warmers, I'd suggest to come 12pm and after. I've only really been here on weekends and they refill food when it's close to running out. They have Coca-Cola and Orange Bang products. Service is good, they always take finished plates away and refill drinks pretty quickly. They keep the buffet food warmers clean, staff always clean up dropped food on counters. Habachi veggie selection is fresh. There aren't that many sushi options and mainly California or egg filled rolls but it will do as well. Mushroom chicken is my favorite, mushrooms aren't ever mushy or over done. I love pouring the sauce over rice. General Tso's Chicken was pretty good, not spicy. Fried foods aren't dripping with grease and well drained. Chow mein sometimes is a little over done but flavor is there. read more

Omg, so dirty I was afraid to eat the food. Even the water tasted worse than the river. If you look at heat lamps in picture you can see they haven't been cleaned in a long time. Booths all falling apart, carpet filthy, bathrooms have doors propped open and haven't been repaired for over a year. I can't image how they pass a health inspection. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Please please pleaaaase do not go here: the food is absolutely inedible. The eggrolls smell like death, the food is absolutely horrible everything. Hibachi Buffet can be a hit or miss, some times you can tell the food has been sitting for a while as it can be weird chewy/rubbery texture, other times it seems fresh. Last time we were here the two young girls working here were being quite disruptive, loud and unprofessional. They kept talking/laughing with eachother and passing our booth constantly and loudly, very distracting, at some point one of the girls leaned over our booth from the other side to yell at her other friend, so unprofessional and uncomfortable, it was these workers that made it chaotic, not peaceful. The prices are good, for that reason it can be worth it. After my last negative experience here its really put me off from coming back, atleast for a really long time. This is a buffet restaurant. The sushi is warm sometimes. Food on the steam table is not refilled when empty. Very very slow. After Covid this buffet has went down in food quality. Food quality is subpar. They do not refill items. Although this place is cheap, it's not worth going there. The shrimp is old and mushy, and they use cocktail shrimp that is so small! the crab - I cannot detect what type it is with minimal amount of meat in the crab legs. The sushi rice was old and mushy. Their teppanyaki grill ingredients was not replenished. The meats are about a teaspoon in the pan. Don't call it all you can eat if you ration out the portions. It's a family owned restaurant and I know they are trying to maximize their profits. My suggestion: cut down on the extensive offerings and focus more on a few entrees with better quality of food. Another suggestion. The teppanyaki bar, allow customers to choose their vegetables and the staff can offer the customer what type of meats they want in their stir fry. This is how they can portion control the meats. They offer 5-6 types of chicken; fried chicken, honey chicken, teriyaki chicken, sweet sour chicken.... Offer perhaps 2 types of chicken and cook it with higher quality of ingredients. They even ran out of rice and they replenished it when I requested the rice. The best was their egg drop soup and their fried chicken wings. I will never go back there. I worry about food poisoning. read more
