The first time was for some coffee and hot chocolate which was absolutely delicious. The second time was for brunch. It was definitely a nice experience and the food was delicious and prepared well. The waiter's responses were a little delayed in my request. For example, I had the Italian breakfast which was delicious but I asked for salt and pepper which he clearly forgot until he saw me asking another server. I would recommend this if you are in the area and looking for a spot for brunch whether it's before or after shopping or after experiencing the area.

Choice of different materials have been carefully selected to finished the decor with some great lighting Music was awesome and at the right level 2. Service Loved it. These guys have been opened for 3 weeks max, so I was expecting some issues with service, but they delivered all the way. The place was packed with people eating (I ll come to good review in a moment) and drinking, I came with an order of 4 different cocktails and got served under 10min. Not only it was fast, cocktails were made in front of me, but the waiter and waitress were super nice. Totally recommend the Cosmo and expresso martini 3. Drink Selection of wines, beers and a cocktail lists with 5 delicious house cocktails 4. Food Tapas menus, we took the Calamari and the chorizo on Bread. Both were really good and a decent portion. Calamari were nicely done, not chewy or over fried and the chorizo was really tasty 5. Payment They should take all CC but at the moment have issues with AMEX, stay tune for other Tips from me when they resolve this 6. Verdict Something different for Godalming, and by the look of it, the 25-40 young professionals were missing. I'll be a regular

Friendly and quick staff. The kind of small family-run place the world needs more of. Great prices too, at least by US standards. I'm an American who lived in Eastbourne 2019-2020, and returned with my adult son on a visit in 2022, happy to see Torero's survived the pandemic. Food just as great. One of the first places I'll go when I visit again. Is it London? No. (Pro tip: "Eastbourne" is spelled differently...) Know going in the Terminus Road area does have the occasional sketchy character especially after dark - situational awareness, people.

I agree with the first reviewer in many ways, and I doubt this place will last. No problem...it's paella! But 1.5 hours later, we were still waiting for our food and nothing arrived until we complained about the wait. We were completely ignored the whole time. When the paella finally came, it was the worst I'd had in a restaurant. My paella is nothing to write home about, and yet I would have done a better job in my own kitchen. So, I would recommend taking a hard pass on this place, especially since the street offers so many other places to eat.

This is going to be another good review. I must be going soft…read more Harris' Tapas bar can be found in the Old Town district of Hastings. In general, the Old Town area of Hastings is far more pleasant than Regular Town, sporting better pubs, better restaurants and (sometimes) better people! Harris' fits nicely into this scheme. Our trip to Harris' followed an afternoon of drinking which, I hear you say, should really end with a curry, not Tapas, however as we were feeling a little bit experimental, and I had never been, we decided to go for it. They have a pretty standard tapas menu with most dishes costing between £3.50 and £6. We opted for the 'Feast for two' for £25 which works out as quite a money saver. You get more than enough for two people and includes meat, fish and vegetable dishes. The service was good, in fact, we were there about twenty minutes before it opened, but they still let us in, thankfully, as it packed out very quickly. I would comment on the drinks selection, however due to excessive intoxication, i cannot remember any of it. Saying, 'Wine' repeatedly rings a bell, then hearing the word, 'White?', then nodding, is how that part of the meal went down. All in all, a very good experience.

The food here is really, really good. The service can be a little unpredictable though. Several…read moretimes when I've been in we've waited an hour for food. The location is perfect, just in the old town near to some of the town's best bars. I'd definitely advise that you book ahead as this place gets really busy at the weekend. Go for the set menu of tapas for two to share to get the variety. The seafood dishes are fab.

What a gem of restaurant!!…read more My salsa friend Hilary has been helping me in my Yelp quest to find new places to eat before salsa on Friday evenings. We have fairly much eaten out Epsom and Ewell and are having to travel further afield to find new restaurants It was thanks to that policy that we uncovered El Rincon at Tattenham Corner. First bonus mark was when we arrived 20 minutes before they opened and the owner welcomed us in and said they would open the kitchens early as we had to get to salsa From conversing with the owner, we found out that El Rincon has been there for 17 years and their chef is authentically Spanish. He was able to make some recommendations between the main menu and the tapas menu. Being piggy, ooops I mean, in trying to get some energy for the some energetic salsa to come, we opted for paella as well as 2 tapas dishes. Second bonus mark was a complementary bowl of manzanilla olives, which had a wonderful mild and sweet/nutty flavour. No over-salty cheap olives here and the owner gave us a bowl of free ones purely because he was proud of them and wanted us to sample them. Some lovely white and brown bread also appeared on the table at the same time Hilary chose probably the best dish of the evening - mejillones, mussels cooked in Pernod, cream and tarragon with walnuts. The mussels were nice and plump and the sauce divine with the tarragon lending just enough aniseed flavour to bring the whole dish together. The bread was heavenly when dipped in the sauce We also had albondigas (meatballs) in tomato sauce. Nice but we would have enjoyed a little more kick to it. Then the paella arrived, cooked in a proper paella pan and having taken an appropriate amount of time to cook for us to know that it was cooked fresh. The waiter brought it out on a trolley and dished it onto our plates The sign of a good paella is meant to be the soccarat (means lightly toasted in Catalan) , the golden brown crust on the bottom of the pan and you need a proper paella pan to produce it. Well, there was soccarat; there was chicken, shellfish and saffron-infused rice cooked to al dente perfection. Perfect paella Time and 2 full tummies meant that we couldn't indulge in dessert tonight but as we said on leaving tonight,"Hasta luego!" (See you soon!) Best Spanish food and service in town
