Ahhh.. the "joys" of home ownership.. welcome to home maintenance :-)…read more June of 2024 Summer arrived at a running start, so I figured I needed to get my a/c checked especially since it had not been done in the two years that I have been in my place. I had called Action Heating and Air for my furnace service and found them to be dependable and professional, so I figured I would give them another try. I booked an appointment a few days out and Rick showed up... on time and ready to tackle the a/c inspection. He did brief me on what he would be doing and then quickly got to work (no rush as it was not hot, well not yet anyway). He did his inspection and cleaning of the unit briefing me along the way as to his findings. Once done, he cleaned up the work area and presented me with a very reasonable bill of service. Rick was extremely professional and friendly at all times during the service visit. I would not hesitate on calling Action Heating and Air again for future services (like in November for the furnace service). Thanks again Rick!

Turns out the leak wasn't fixed and our water bill ran up to $5,000 - he left the pipes exposed and it was winter so they froze and then he never came back to finish the job or fix the driveway. He'd tricked my mom into giving him everything up front, so he basically stole her money - we hired another plumber (Dixon Plumbing who is awesome) and they fixed it in 2 days after months of Jerry stringing us along. It's actually criminal what he did and we may press charges. Do not use this service!!

We gave him 70 percent up front and was to pay balance once installed. He came and installed as agreed everything however the air purifier never worked. He promised to come and make it work however he needed final payment to pay his helper. We thought since he was referred and had most of the work done we could trust him. Boy was I wrong. 14 different times he said he would come and never did. I think he is better qualified in lying than doing HVAC work. We would never referred him or allow him in our home again. I hope he has a full understanding of karma!
