Sadly Mrs Sirianni passed away almost two years ago but her sons and grandsons are now running the place. The store is full of items you will not find in your local Coles or Woolies - excellent antipasto, huge selection of cheeses, Greek and Italian desserts and fresh leg ham straight off the bone. All are reasonably priced for what you are getting. The store itself is still great but it does lack the atmosphere it had when Mrs Sirianni was still alive. Times change of course and I do see a lot of the locals still use this store regularly.

They also cater and have their own brand of juice, which is always a little bit posh. We used them to cater an office function last minute because we couldn't get our normal caterer to come, and there was no problems whatsoever. We even got free movie tickets, bonus! They don't just do the usual platter of cheese and sandwiches, they also have a range of turkish breads and sushi! I love their Salmon and Dill sandwiches, super fresh and yummy dill. On top of that, many ladies in our office were delighted to hear of their gluten-free range, always good. Along with the gluten-free, they have wraps and grain breads for the low GI option as well as danish cookies (not so low GI, but buttery goodness that melts in your mouth). Definetely consider Zac's if you're looking for office catering, if you're in Milton and want a sandwich that literally feels like it's cleaning you on the way down it's so fresh, check them out.

Zac's has sushi, rice paper rolls, wraps, Turkish bread and the option of adding the oh-so-scrumptious apple sauce to your gourmet sandwich. Despite the name, this has nothing in common with a NYC deli, but hey, we can be creative. We're eating sandwiches with holes in the middle. The actual sandwiches? Pretty damn delicious. I would likely have given away 5 stars to these guys, if it weren't for the weird vibe of the staff there. We were probably in the joint for at least half an hour, and I didn't see the staff communicate with each other AT ALL, the entire time. That's weird dudes. A good concept that has only been there about 18 months, and would go well in Sydney I reckon. Just work on the personalities behind the counter to make the experience better.

Because we drive up and down Given…read moreTerrace in Paddington regularly and only spotted it by chance the other day when passing through. And we're so glad we did. We've tried our share of other Vietnamese restaurants beyond our two favourites - Ca Phe Nam in West End and Pho An at Inala - and they always disappoint. Our favourites set the benchmark for taste, outstanding quality and value. And we now welcome Pho Hung Vuong to the favourites family. Two Phos, a Rare Beef ($20) and a Special Pho ($25), were superb with a boastful broth, fresh rice noodles and inspiring ingredients. The condiments too were generous, just the way we like and expect them, with plenty of bean sprouts, basil, chili paste and fresh red chilis, lime wedges and hoisin sauce. We made quick work of both phos and commented on how much we enjoyed them on the way to emptying our bowls. Sometimes spotting something by chance results in a welcome opportunity to experience something new. And, in this case, utterly delicious and beyond expectations. We'll be back, Pho sure!

I love Big W. I like how it is conveniently placed above Woolworths. It has escalators and a lift…read moreif you have heavy bags. I wish they would make a security system so you could take their basket trolleys (which can't leave Big W) and supply you with regular trolleys to take down to Woolworths to shop there vice versa . I hate carrying bags. I had to buy a granny's trolley for this purpose. I wish they had a underground carpark or something because how are you gonna take your purchases home? I either have to walk far to my car or catch a cab from the cab rank which is thankfully nearby. There are buses and trains but the who wants to wait at a bus stop with all their things? Also buses can be unreliable. The train station is about a ten minute walk up the hill so no go for me. If they had more parking areas and let you take the basket trolleys into the food court I would buy more and heavier things. Unfortunately most things on the Big W website are unavailable to get delivered? Almost makes me wonder what's the point, except I suppose being able to see what they sell. Big store, lots of variety, good prices but not as dirt cheap as Kmart. I would give 5 stars if they didn't always run out of basket trolleys at Big W and Woolworths! Woolworths have regular metal trolleys but usually run out too with the annoying insert coin security system. I don't know how your expected to use the trolley and then catch a cab. How are you going to return the trolly to bay to get your $1/$2 back? Oh well. There are barely any lines at Big W unlike Woolworths and they have self service checkout there. Oh, and only spread over two levels, not three.
