Doesn't matter which one I go to I know I am going to get the same coffee every time. They keep their machines clean (ergo no bitterness) staff are friendly and they don't over extract the beans which is important for someone who doesn't add any flavours or sweeteners. This zarraffas is the one I frequent the most and it has a great atmosphere! I normally take away but it is often filled with the sound of chatter and laughter which is lovely. The outside seating is very popular too though the only real view is of a car park! They have a great drink menu, I love the iced americano (which is espresso over filtered water with ice; no awful over extraction) it's so smooth to drink, great for summer and the cafe breve which is a really decadent cappuccino with cream, so naughty but so yummy! Such a guilty pleasure. Love it!

It's a little cafe in a plaza that does great food and drinks. They recently started their new menu which features a lot of variety for everyone. Whether you're trying to go all out for breakfast, be health conscious or even love a sweeter breakfast e.g. their amazing looking red velvet pancakes. I really mean it when they accommodate for groups: they offer platters for 2, 3, 4 people and even crazy platters for $99. Our dishes were so good - all components paired well together (poached eggs and fried haloumi cheese? Uhh yes, always yes!), and my green smoothie was a healthy delicious combo too. The decor is cute and the majority of seating is outside (option to be covered by shade rollers). It's table service and they do have specials that are always intriguing to try. I can see myself coming back here over and over because of their food and how it's conveniently on the Southside. Keep it up guys :)!

I didn't investigate it's origins, however there seem to be a number of Coffee roasters in the area, so it's likely to be from around there. I would likely have given away 5 stars to these guys, if it weren't for the weird vibe of the staff there. We were probably in the joint for at least half an hour, and I didn't see the staff communicate with each other AT ALL, the entire time. That's weird dudes. A good concept that has only been there about 18 months, and would go well in Sydney I reckon. Just work on the personalities behind the counter to make the experience better.

It's not the sort of place I'd go to all the time, as it's a little off the beaten track, but for a special occasion, hot date or chocolatey pick-me-up it's a little bit special. I've had coffee from there, which is very reasonably priced at $3.20 for a regular and I've also tried their Italian Hot Chocolate which is rich enough and big enough for two. With Archive Fine Books just up the road, I highly recommend combining a wander through the shelves and shelves of old books followed by coffee and cake in Cocoawoo--makes for a nice afternoon adventure in the city.

As for the orange tart, it had no flavor whatsoever--certainly nothing resembling orange. We paid $32.13 for this experience. Save your money and eat elsewhere--you'll thank yourself later.
