This place is amazing, and by far the best place for a guy's haircut if you want more than just a shaved head! Santonny gave my 4 year old the best haircut ever! He was so patient with him that he was able to give him a stylish haircut! My older son, loves coming here because again he gets more than just a shaved head. He participates with military organizations through his school, so he has to be within regulations but now he can have style along with being in regs!! The haircut, however has to be one of the worst I've ever received, especially at the price I paid. I didn't notice at first glance, but it's all I've heard about since. I know some people might like having their time wasted by other people's kids, but not me. *At no point did my barber turn me around so I could see the progress of my cut, so when it was over I was a little shocked at seeing something I didn't want. I went here a few times and had no problems. Got a solid haircut had a good conversation with the barbers. Then the third time I come in for my appointment I waited for an hour after my scheduled appointment time and the barber was just chillin in the back room. Didn't even know she had an appointment so I just left. Another customer was waiting for 45 min and hadn't even been acknowledged by the staff. He talked to a barber and said he had an appointment 45 min ago and the guy said he'd get him after somebody who just showed up. Just tried to call for another appointment bc my other barber is closed today and they said they would check if they had any times. Then they just hung up on me. Only one star because zero is not an option. As a walk-in, I was immediately seated. That's the end of the good news. Without a doubt I received the worst haircut I've ever had. The "open" barber seated me and asked for my preference in cuts. I told him "touching the ears, tapered back and about 6 weeks off the top". What I got was a military scalping on the sides, a Mohawk down the middle and random tufts of hair where he missed with his clippers. Granted, this was only one barber out of 4 on that afternoon, but three of the four barbers were more interested in joking and clowning around than focusing on their customers. Totally non-professional. Avoid this place as if it was the origin of the Black Plague. read more

Needed a cut badly and only a few shops were open on Sundays. I saw this shop while getting lunch next door at You-Ka Cafe (Awesome Filipino food btw). The shop has a nice feel too it, very roomy with some nostalgic notes to it. The quality of the cut was exceptional! Although it did take a bit of time, of course with quality comes time. I made an appointment here for my boyfriend because he's A) picky about his hair and B) loves a classic "old fashioned" haircut. We got super lucky because he loves this place and hasn't needed to try any other barber shop since his first visit here. He gets his hair cut by Rob every two weeks and it always looks great. Rob does an awesome job, takes his time, and checks to make sure Rob (my Rob) is happy with the cut. I highly recommend making an appointment here. I've tried going to this shop on 2 occasions back to back because I was referred to by a friend, the first time there was still 2-3 hours left until closing and I show up and it was closed , I saw a guy in the far right cutting his own and I knock and he just signaled me that it was close, the second time I come in at 3 when the shop I suppose to be open at 2 already and the shop yet again closed. I made an appoint with Jeffery at this barbershop for noon. I arrived promptly and there weren't any patrons in front of me and the shop was nearly empty. I waited for 20 minutes and then inquired about my reservation, they assured me he would be right out. After another 10 minutes I was sitting there. So I sat there waiting a total of 30 minutes with a reservation!! In addition I had to drive 20 minutes to get to the shop,so i spent an hour and 10 minutes of my Saturday as a total waste of time. I hate to leave a negative review but this was simply rude and unprofessional. read more

These guys are pretty consistent, I prob had one cut I disliked over a dozen visits but to no fault of them I just wanted to try something different in a cut. They get booked quick so its best to plan ahead. In one session you get a cut, razor line up, hot towel and a conversaion so be generous with the gratuity. The only thing I hate is that they are closed on Sundays and sometime I have to resort in going somewhere else and 9 out 10 times Ill regret it. If you are looking for a spot, try them out and you'll probably become a regular. Lastly, they give a military discount didn't know this till 5 cuts down the road. read more

Since we've moved to the Springs, it's been so hard finding a good barbershop/barber that you want to go back to. Although the price here is a bit higher, it's still a clean and respectable establishment. There isn't a long waiting time. Even making appointments, the barbershop holds their schedule and doesn't make you wait after your scheduled time. So refreshing. My husband has his hair cut by Santonny and so far it's been exactly what he's wanted. He is great with fades. Definitely a place to at least try. read more

The shop itself is nice and in our neighborhood. We prefer to support local small biz in our neighborhood and have given them more than three chances to get it together but the staff is immature, rude, and incredibly unprofessional. Why book appointments if you're going to take someone right before your appt arrives on time? Our barber did not even acknowledge us knowing damn well we were there for him for our scheduled appt. That happened twice now. The staff act like they're at home hanging with their homies talking loudly having inappropriate conversations in front of minors eating food talking with mouths full blasting adult music and playing movies with feet up on the barber chairs. The owner/manager was not in so they didn't hold back on their childish behavior. Their crew needs adult supervision apparently and are ruining this business. Our business did not seem to be appreciated in the slightest. We did not feel welcome or wanted or even appreciated, so we'll take our business and generous tips elsewhere. read more

It's always a challenge finding a good barber on vacation and lately it's been nothing but the worst of the worst cuts of my life... Until I met Neil. This cat kept the conversation going and gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. The atmosphere of the shop is top notch, I can't even begin to explain how amazing the experience was. From the moment I walked in the the door I was greeted and got in a chair within no time. Very glad I came to this place and will be a seasonal regular since I'm stationed in Hawaii and my wife goes to school in the springs. Nonetheless, awesome shop with great customer service. I've been here a few times and gotten forgettable cuts until I got a cut from Rick. My hair always looks like shit after a few weeks because it grows out uneven. I don't know WTF kind of sorcery Rick did but it actually still looks fine still. The guy was real quiet the whole time and didn't let me see the cut until the end but he did a fine job. read more

Absolutely notorious for taking walk ins 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment and making you wait half an hour for your cut. Why offer appointments if you're not going to adhere to them? Barbers will act as if this is the norm, offer no apologies, and continue with their cut. I will say by the time they do get to you, the cuts are great. read more

This Barbershop needs zero stars! Terrible service from the Tuesday morning Barbers at this location! Made two appointments same time for Mens cuts arrive on time and Darla could not even start my cut until she found something on TV to watch, the other barber was sweeping, finished up and disappeared to the back. Darla continued to have an elaborate story about not knowing how to run the TV when the shop had been open for two hours. I dont need a TV while just getting a cut. I was not there to help her, I was there for a barber service. She did not pick up the scissors for about 5 min and I could not stand the story any longer. Okay, I feel like my experience here was completely at odds with my fellow reviewers. I will start be saying that the staff at Flashback are great people and the customer service itself is great, as others have said. However unfortunately any positives end there. I decided to treat myself and booked the Flashback Ultimate which is a haircut, neck and shoulder massage, shampoo, and Hot Lather Straight Razor Shave. For $45 which I thought was a good deal. I booked Neil due to positive reviews on here. Firstly the shampoo happened after the hair cut. Which I thought was a little odd. I was asked how I wanted my hair styled and how I wanted the back shaped. However I was not asked anything after that. There was no check if the hair was short enough and in fact when I asked if the top could be cut shorter Neil asked me to let him style my hair before making a decision. I said fine at which point he styled it in completely the opposite direction from how I asked for it when I first sat down. At which point I asked again for him to cut it shorter at which point he did. The "shoulder and neck massage" was an electronic hand massager that he put on and ran over my shoulders for what seemed like 30 seconds maximum. The shave was okay. My skin had a number of knicks after it which, you know what, fine, it happens. But when I got in my car and looked in the mirror I found missed sections under my chin. By the time I left the store my hair was brushed backwards (even though I specifically had mentioned when I first sat down that I like it brushed forwards) and had so much product in it that when I tried to fix it in my car it wouldn't move at all. I was also never asked how high I wanted my sideburns, and when I looked properly in the mirror when I got home I discovered that my sideburns were cut to two very different lengths. Finally, and this is only a small thing but something I personally look for as a nice touch. I was not asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed. I have found as I travel a lot and go to many different barbers, that the good ones always ask as a complimentary service which I always very much appreciate. So unfortunately I will not be returning here. And depending on how my hair looks when I wash the product out of it in the morning and can style it myself, I may need to go to another place to get it fixed. We'll see. Again when I booked an appointment I felt $45 (+ tip) was good value. When I left it felt like a awful lot of money. Nice people, terrible haircut. read more
