Went in to get a haircut and shave and they did a good job cutting my hair and beard but did a very bad job trimming mustache. Great people, great cut! We thought we would take a chance on a local shop instead of a big change this time around and gave Fresh Cuts a shot. They only accept walk-ins, and although they were busy they had beepers and said it would only be about 15 minutes. I was a little skeptical, but after a 15 minute wait we were seated (3 of us) and getting our cut! They did a great job at a reasonable price and it didn't take all afternoon. Out of the way near the base, FC caters to the military given its proximity. But they also have ladies who know how to give a 'regular' haircut outside of the military fade or flat top etc popular with that crowd. No issue with pandemic precautions with the pager system they have, and everyone is appropriately wearing facial coverings, including the customers, with plexiglass shields between the stations. Myoung was able to understand what was desired, the challenges of certain types of ethnicities and hair types, and communicate well to provide an agreed upon plan. This is the best deal in town for a straight HC, and you can add onto it other aspects as well. read more

Fast, cheap, and they do a great job. I am not from the area, and lord knows there are probably a bazillion barber/hair shops around the base. So i Yelp'd to see what was open, so I can take the nuggets in to get a trim. Fresh cuts was first on the list, so that was where we were going. In is in a bit of run down strip mall, but don't let that scare you off. The shop is fairly clean, and all the ladies were very nice. They have a TV playing football, and some toys for your littles to play with. We were probably in and out of there within 25 minutes. The kids and I were both satisfied with their cuts, so we tipped them and were on our way. read more

One of the best cuts I've had I a long time. Clean facility, comfortable waiting area with TV and a water bubbler. I went in and there were five ladies working, so the wait wasn't long at all. The woman I had knew exactly what she was doing and was very efficient. Definitely coming back here. Also, if you live on base, it's real easy to get to. Second time I had a bad experience here, first time was when I was told I didn't need a tablet because not a lot of people and then someone skipped me and the ladies knew I got skipped and didn't say anything so I got up and left, this time I only asked for a MID skin fade and a little off the bang and I got a bowl cut and basically a high and tight. I had a buddy visiting me from out of town and I took him here because we both needed haircuts (we're both active duty). I don't particularly think this place is all that great, but they understand military cuts and they're not overly expensive. I've been coming here for 3 years and typically avoid the owner (a Korean lady) because she usually rushes through cutting your hair so that she can get to the next customer faster (my hair has been jacked up several times by her, but I get my hair cut once a week, so it's not a huge deal). When the owner asked who was going first, I said that I would so that my buddy could get someone else and I told him to go with one of the other barbers. She, as expected, got done with me super fast and told my buddy to sit in the chair. He politely declined and said that he would wait for the other barbers. He ended up getting his hair cut by someone else, but when it was time to pay, the owner came out from the back and started to pick a fight with him. At first, she was asking him why he didnt want his hair cut by her. This quickly escalated to her calling him a racist, her accusing him of not wanting his hair cut by an asian woman, and then even did an illegal action of up-charging him from $27 (military price) to over $40, saying that it was because he was a racist (I'm his best bud and I'm Korean, he was the best man at my wedding, and is the godfather of my kid). We came in together and left together. She told him that he was not welcome there ever again after stealing his money. Shut this janky shop down. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I let's a guy go in front of me so I could have this women cut my hair because she cut the hair of a soldier I know. After she finished my haircut the women I initially skipped which is the owner, proceeded to call me a racist and started to say off the wall things because I went to someone else. Let alone the women that cut my hair was African American so apparently I'm just racists to the Asian community in her eyes. Absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for. Being that we are military it's always hard to find a new place at a new location that is going to do a good job. On a whim the hubby needed a haircut and being Sunday some of the other places he had been too were soon closing so of course in comes yelp to save the day! I find this little shop and we head that way... it's a small little place, your greeted as you enter and asked to sign in.. there were a few people ahead of us but there were 5 people cutting hair so the wait was not long. Myong was my barber and was incredibly helpful and took the time and attention to make sure I left feeling great about the cut. Had to get a haircut last minute on Sunday night. Really glad this place was open! The lady that cut my hair had a lot of attention to detail. From the vacuume for hair removal to the massage of the head at the end was all little things I didn't expect. The mom and pops shop feeling is definitely not something you get from bigger haircut places like Great Clips or Supercuts. Would definitely recommend!
