The best, BY FAR, gunsmith here than I've ever seen before, and I've seen my share. If it were only the gunsmith I would shop here. But their selection of firearms is outstanding, especially since they are a pawn shop. New and used rifles, handguns, crossbows, compound bows and everything else anyone would need for hunting or personal protection. One of a handful of places I can literally spend hours in. My experience with Flat Top Arms was very positive, and the owner/manager/employees display a professional business attitude, which I have found to be rare in this neck of the woods. I only request they include AR15s in their inventory. Although they have a selection of AK47s, I prefer the AR15s, because the AR15s are much easier and faster to reload. So unless the AK47s have vastly improved in that area, that shortcoming alone leads or leans to an AR15. Please consider stocking up on them, or restocking them. Thank you. read more

Price compared same day at other gun stores in the area on the exact same guns, and Flat Top is $100-400 higher on everything. They also have very little selection despite lots of space. They only seemed to have a limited number of brands in stock, and many of the same models instead of a good variety of guns. It's called Flat Top Arms, but a big portion of the store is wasted on hunting goods instead of guns and ammo. Ammo prices are high too, and limited selection -- they didn't even have .380 the day I went in except for hollow point that they wanted $6/box higher for than Shooter's Roost. Also annoying is that their guns are all in cases up front at the checkout areas where all the old guys stand behind... and then more old guys come in and just stand there leaning on the glass shooting the shit so you can't even look at half the guns. The staff doesn't even ask them to move so you can see guns you might want to buy. Poor management and high prices. No need for me to come back. read more
