The Beardance climbers were amazing pros, scaling 80 plus foot trees to remove limbs, in order to lighten the load prior to felling. The crew chipped limbs and cleaned up each day prior to leaving. In the end, after felling, they made the extra effort to buck up each trunk into 16" sections placing them on an accessible location of our property in order for friends and neighbors to take as firewood. Scheduled a tow for illegally parked vehicle on private property in CFalls on a Tuesday early…read moreafternoon. Provided description, plate, and marked parking spot number where vehicle was illegally parked since the previous evening. Sometime between when I called Ohs, and when the vehicle was towed, it was moved out of my spot to another spot in the garage, which was a legal spot for another tenant. Ohs showed over 24hrs later and towed the vehicle from the wrong spot on Weds evening to their 1010 Jensen location. I got an earful from the tenant in the spot from which it was towed - despite it being their own fault I was never informed that they'd moved the vehicle. I gave Ohs the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't tow from any spot other than the one I provided when I called them, and that the driver would give me a call to confirm the exact location if something was 'off'. Neither happened, just the usual shady sh*t that towing companies pull. Contacted Ohs on Thurs morning to tell them they screwed up and towed from the wrong spot, and the best they could do was offer a $25 discount, making the payment $152.00. I have bigger things going on in my life and rather than squabble over $152 and be an ass to the other tenant, I took the high road and paid the bill just to be done with it. Lesson learned ... ALWAYS confirm specifics with the towing company as to time, exact location, etc. otherwise they will take advantage of you and claim no fault when you call them out on it. To Ohs Towing: do better. When your driver is ready to hook up to a tow, make absolutely sure that they contact the requesting party to confirm all the details again, even if it means you miss out on a tow. I'm beyond pi**ed off and you should be embarrassed for sacrificing integrity to chase a few bucks. I'll never use your service again.
