The education plan they offer is so well structured yet invites imagination and brings in other cultural education to widen the horizon of education! The scenery was gorgeous and our guide, Mo, was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and fun. We had lunch in a meadow and learned about different kinds of trees and wildflowers. We also learned a lot about how landscapes change over time. I really appreciated how Mo led friendly discussions about different aspects of the terrain. Because she studied ice, her expertise is very specific and in-depth. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience a comprehensive guided hike of Glacier National Park. I hope to take part in another activity with the institute in the future.

We got brunch in Whitefish before I said goodbye to my friends who all had earlier flights. Then I had 10 hours to kill and ended up having the best solo day starting w pottery painting here. Jessica was super kind and even offered to let me keep my suitcase and backpack at the studio so I could explore town without having to lug my stuff around. Stumptown shipped my pumpkin to me in Seattle and I received it 2.5 weeks later (they quoted 3 weeks so I got it earlier). They carefully packaged it up in many layers to ensure that it would travel safely! I am so happy with how it turned out and highly recommend checking them out when you're in Whitefish!
