No credit accepted KK donates to a variety of charities and a list can be seen occasionally showing who they are donating to. Top on their list was a fund for homeless high school students. The shop is small, but packs a lot in. Clothes of all kinds and home goods abound. Back to school sale is one of my favorite times to come in.

Here's our story: Another person and I hired this appraiser for a piece of residential property. The appraiser lowered his estimate by reducing the weight given one of the four comparable properties, claiming that the comparable was of better construction quality. But he did not explain what the quality differences were (brick vs. wood---whatever). On several occasions I politely asked for an explanation, but the appraiser simply refused to provide one. First, he evaded the question. To my second inquiry, he didn't respond. Later, he falsely claimed he had no authority to answer and that I was "bullying" him. Finally, he wrote an email attacking me in language that was the most abusive and nasty I ever have received from a real estate professional---and I worked in the field for many years. My partner couldn't get a straight answer from him either. I was forced to conclude that the appraiser simply did not have a presentable answer--that his decision to discount the comparable could not be defended, but he was unwilling to admit it.
