The customer service is consistently top-notch. I picked up a Tudor FXD from them brand new, and the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I also sold them a vintage Rolex, and they were very fair with their offer. I combined that with some of my own money to purchase the Tudor, and I couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. The store itself is clean and welcoming. On hot days they even offer cold water, which is a small touch but says a lot about how they treat their customers. Their selection of pre-owned watches is excellent--plenty of great pieces to look through. I haven't spent much time on the jewelry side, but the watch selection alone is worth the visit. Overall, Brockhaus is a solid place to buy or sell watches, and I've always left feeling well taken care of. Highly recommended.

The store is packed with OU goods from apparel to mugs, sports equipment, etc. Basically if it says OU on it Balfour will sell it. They also do a lot of business for the Greek system at OU. The store is in campus corner, so if you go during busy times parking is always an issue, which is no different than any other campus corner place. It is also full, and on big weekends (football games, graduation, etc) it feels crowded. I have never encountered an unfriendly employee at Balfour. There clearly is a reason it has been around this long. Highly recommended for locals or visitors to OU.

People have been waiting since 4 for the store to reopen but whoever was on shift decided to close early. This is unacceptable, if you're going to close early against hours, you should not have been scheduled to be working. If you had an emergency or personal issue, there should've been another sign posted on the door. Or at least call someone else to cover your shift, or even put on the door, "Sorry closed early!" Don't have people waiting for service that you're not going to provide. It's the week of the big game, don't you think you would get business from college girls wanting to buy clothes to wear for OU TX? This issue needs to be fixed, either fix hours online and on the door, or stay open when you're supposed to be open. And I get it workers need food, breaks, or a minute to relax, but don't close the store early just because you want to cut your shift short by two hours. That's just wrong and unethical. Artifactory has a truly unique selection of very reasonably priced items I am unlikely to find anywhere else and the owners make you feel extra-special because they remember the little details, your likes and dislikes. They have a beautifully curated collection--a blend of local and non-local items--old and new, practical and quirky, unique and creative. My spirits are lifted when I walk through the door. I feel a bit like a I did as a child looking through a favorite relative's hope chest or exploring all of the treasures in my grandmother's home imagining what my home would look like when I got big. Nostalgia and possibilities comingle.
