Travis (plumber) called ahead to give me a timeline as to when I can expect him (which I always prefer). He was within the timeframe I originally requested. He was professional and explained everything to me that he'd be doing. He had to run out to grab a couple things and explained the reasoning. Their company policy is to wear masks and I appreciated that. He was also very friendly and clean. No mess left behind at all. He installed my new sink and vanity as well as replaced my old shut off valves. I was very happy and impressed with the quality of work. I didn't expect him to secure the vanity or to silicone it either and he did. Very pleased with that. The price was pretty close to what I was quoted and I have peace of mind knowing a professional, ticketed plumber did the work and did it right! It took 3 weeks before they even came to look at it, then the owner told me it was my fault because I didn't level concrete, but they poured the concrete under the shower base. I showed him the instructions for installation, and his answer was I wouldn't follow the directions. Even though they told me it was done and needed no more work. A couple weeks now have gone by and I was told the shower base was repaired, now there is a melted spot in the shower base is still cracked inside and out. The manufacturer's agent took care of the replacement parts side of things, but referred us to Nortec Plumbing & Heating to do the plumbing and installation side of things. It was a purely random referral, but one that was extremely fortuitous for us. Nortec Plumbing did a beautiful job on the installation of the replacement of the steam room equipment, so we decided to use their services again for other plumbing problems around the house, as we were looking for a new plumber anyway. Our kitchen drain and dishwasher connector got plugged shortly after, and Nortec Plumbing was quick and responsive to our emergency calls. Kelsey at their office made sure we were updated at all times when someone was on the way, and we have used this company for several minor and major jobs since, feeling completely satisfied with Nortec's professional business practices, their competent workmanship, and reasonable prices.
