I'm completely disappointed in the way I have been treated, I have been coming here for years, and spent thousands of dollars here, The person I had been seeing seeing was Amanda their aesthetician. I have melasma and had the Cosmelan MD treatment done which cost me over thousand dollars with aftercare products. Once the treatment was done my face responded very well to it and was beautiful. I was very pleased and had taken good care of my face from then on. I came to Amanda about 6 months ago to get a little refresher, mind you my skin was still in very good condition. I did not have the spots from the melasma due to the treatment, I had gotten and how well I had taken care of my face. I just wanted to freshen up my face because I was returning to work after being away for a while, Amanda was well aware that I have had no or little sun exposure, because I was working from home for a long while. She suggested I get the Blue Peel done. I followed her advice. She place the chemical on my face and as soon as she did I felt this overwhelming, excruciating pain, like my face was being burned. I was literally coming off the bed. I started to move around on the bed and I told her that it was burning so bad and I couldn't take it. I knew something was not right because I have gotten peels before and I know they are intense, but this was nothing like the peels I have gotten in the past, she put her hand on my arm and told me to stay calm, that it was going to be ok. I started to sweat because it was burning so badly, I told her I can't handle this it burns so bad, she just started to fan me and say she didn't want me to sweat because it would ruin the process, then told me the peel had frosted and she would need to remove it. She removed it and when I looked in the mirror I could clearly see pink areas on my face which were evidently burns. She is well aware that extreme heat is not good for people with melasma to which she has informed me, but even though I was jumping off the bed and clearly in excruciating pain she continued, honestly, I think she didn't know what to do, and she didn't want to take responsibility so she did what she needed to, to cover herself. I found out by one of their nurses Danny who examined my face when I came in as an emergency follow up as a result of the procedure she had done, that she didn't sign her name to procedure she had done that day. Danny had Informed me Lilly's name was signed as the person who did the procedure to my face, Danny was very confused I told him I didn't know what was going on but that Amanda did my procedure he looked concerned and told me that he was going to call the Owner. Are you serious was this really happening!! this is what kind of person Amanda is, wait it doesn't end here, after I went back because of course my face was a was full of burns and my melasma came back with a vengeance and yes that thousand dollar Cosmelan MD that I payed for was ruined, because of the her neglectful, irresponsible behavior. She is so unprofessional when she spoke with me over the phone she spoke with such an attitude like I did something wrong, of course because I have made her take responsibility for her actions. She obviously was not going to take responsibility for what she had done. Now after all this I was told by the nurse Danny that he had spoke with the Owner and that the Owner said that she would do whatever needed to be done to rectify the situation so they gave me two bottles of Hydroquinone. I used it to try to correct my skins discoloration for a about two months it did not work. I phone them and told them I had tried it and it did not clear my skin, and asked them what they were going to do to correct what Amanda did to my face, they then told me Amanda had the audaciously to say she didn't feel comfortable working on my face and I was like what!!! is this really happening are you serious so they have decided they were not going to take responsibility for what has happened here, and since she is their only aesthetician they said the case was close and there was nothing else they could do. I was furious and asked for that in writing, the manger said she was going to talk to the owner and get back to me. I waited about a week called again and the manger was evidently giving me the run around and when I called back they have stopped returning my calls. This is what kind of business they run. My experience with laser hair removal for my face wasn't so good at this place. I'm glad I didn't go for the 5 sessions package. Alisha did my treatment, she is sweet but didn't really do a good job, as i went back home and found alot of hair not yet removed and waited for a couple of days till it falls by itself but it never did. Gaby did the microdermabrasion on my face while doing it she recommended me to do a Photo Facial. According to Gaby, photo facial was going to improve my skin and get rid of my acne scars and that I was a high qualified patient for such treatment. Before doing the photo facial, I did some research, and I talked to the Flawless Nurse Colleen about it; she stated that she was a "Professional" with photo facial that I was not going to get any burns or anything close to that on my skin. The "professional" nurse Colleen did my 1st and last photo facial. SHE BURNED MY FACE: FORHEAD, CHEEKS AND AROUND MY NECK!! I contacted the office and they told me the burns "were Normal " due to my Hispanic/dark skin??! which I totally disagreed since I have done Laser on other parts on my body & never been burned. Friends of mine (Hispanic & Middle Eastern) have done laser on the face & never burned. I went to the clinic to see the nurse and cancel the Photo Facial treatment due to my burns. However, the Manager, (Ruth's sister) did not bother to call the nurse for me and gave me the poorest costumer service. First, she stated my burns "were normal' and wanted to charge me $150 for photo facial cancelation!! Even though I was canceling due to the Burns in my face! After a short conversation with a really bad attitude the manager decided to give me the money back; however, she kept $100 dollars for my 1st laser treatment! I didn't not appreciate the Manager attitude, face expression and verbal comments. I do have to mention that the Manager did offer me a "FREE" facial treatment after she stated that the Nurse Gaby & Colleen shouldn't have never recommended me the Photo facial since she could see my skin didn't qualify for such treatment! First let me say the people who work here are very nice. I was a past customer and loved Lumy, she was very skilled at Botox and filler placement. When she left, I tried the new girl they used and had very poor results. I came back for a facial and microdermabrasion and that seemed up to par with other spas. I was a bit hesitant since it was a groupon and past experience with groupons always seemed offered by a place who fell "short" and used them to rebuild business. After going to a different facility for a few years, and since Flawless is in the area, I decided to give them another try. I shared my concerns and booked another appointment. Again the people that work there are over the top nice. HOWEVER, I clearly explained my concerns and was lead to believe that there would not be a problem. I decided to go with dysport, and my out come was HORRIFIC. 3 days after my treatment my eyelids were completly drooping, laying on top of my eyelashes. Again, the dysport was not properly placed and or too much was given. I called frantic with the results...hence my son was having his engagement party that week end. I was asked to come back in n to fix?? I was hummed and hoed with no results for a fix. I then asked them about drops I had heard about. I was told they didn't have them but that they could get them and that they would cover the cost. I went to the pharmacy to pick up and over and above there was a $140 fee, the pharmacist clearly advised me against the medication, saying she had never heard of this and it was a medication used for pressure in the eyes. She highly advised me not to purchase and not use. This just devastated me, besides spending $300 and getting a BOTCHED job, they only agreed to a $75 refund. That's like paying for your potatoes and dessert when your steak was bad. NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE. I KNOW WHY I STOPPED GOING THERE!! I should have been hesitant when I had to do a video conference with the Dr. BEWARE EVERYONE, ITS ALL ABOUT EXPERTISE. I did see a reputable Dr. Who said nothing short of time will fix this and that I was clearly over shot with bad placement. The engagement party was wonderful, and the you look exhausted, to what happened to your eyes, to you look like you had a stroke...well I guess that's what I get for settling on a Groupon med spa instead of a reputable Dr. Skilled in Botox, filler and dysport placement! I bought a groupon for a full facial and microdermabrasion. I arrived at 1. The girl said she needed to get the room ready. Changed into my salon garb and the girl came in around 105. She very hurriedly cleaned my face then did the microdermabrasion She put a gel on my face and left the room for approx seven minutes. Came back washed that off put sunscreen on and said I was done. From start to finish was 25 minutes including dressing. Wow really?!?! That's over $120 an hour and for that price I could have gone to Burke Williams and had a much better experience. I told them that was the quickest facial I have ever had and their comment to me was, "well grpupon doesn't put the time down that you get". Be warned!! I had the most horrible experience in receiving a dermal filler. I was drawn in by one of their Friday specials. I had radiesse put in my cheek only to wake up 2 days later to blood pools all through out my right cheek ( I only injected one cheek to create symmetry, hollow on one side). I have learned since that this is a very rare side effect that is due to an incompetent injector who injects too deeply and injures an artery. As a result the feeding veins from the artery become impacted and it leads to blood bursts all under the skin. Over 4 weeks have passed and I still have discoloration on my face. Please do not be fooled by the "yes, honey" "okay, sweetie" tactics of the owners. This place does not hire qualified injectors and you will end up paying the price. read more

They asked me if I could come in at 2.30pm same day, yes, i certainly could and i did arrive at 2.30pm and waited 15 minutes in the reception area to be told they had run out of botox and they were going to text the manager to find out when the next delivery would arrive and would reschedule me for another time. The receptionist told me at the time she made my appointment (2 hours earlier) there was botox available but then they had a walk-in who 'unfortunately' used the final supply. HORRIBLE Experience. I called to make a botox appointment five days ago, confirmed twice and even showed up early. I had rushed from the gym and weaved through traffic to get there. I gave my nams at the front desk and then was told to take a seat. I was sitting there for 20 minutes past my appointment time and still no one had said anything to me. Then the phone rang... I heard the lady at the front desk tell whoever it was that they were out of botox at the moment. I then confronted her once she hung up the phone to ask if I had heard correctly. She realized I was there for botox and basically just said sorry and she would try to find out when they would have some delivered. I then waited some more only to have her tell me she didn't know when they would be restocked. Worst spa experience ever and such a disappointment. I can't say enough great things about my experiences here. From micro derm to any regular facial, my experience has been nothing less than great. I was just in a few weeks ago to see Elena and she was extremely professional and very polite. More importantly she seemed very in tune with trying to help me better understand my skin. All of the staff was very polite and professional, and they even serve Starbucks coffee in the lobby! I have been coming to Flawless ever since Elena moved here. This is a cute spa; easy parking, water, coffee (they just got a new Starbucks machine), and little chocolates are always available. The staff are very friendly and upbeat and I always get phone calls, and now emails & texts, to remind me of my appointments. I don't know anything about the injections and nurses some people mention in the other reviews as I only get facials, micros, and peels, and all this only from Elena. She's great! She knows her stuff, has a great personality, never pushes unnecessary products or treatments but does suggest what she thinks will really help you out, makes you feel really comfortable, and really cares about you looking & feeling your best. I go to Elena at Flawless for facials and microdermabrasion and the occasional waxing. She is the best aesthetician I've ever had. My skin always feels and looks amazing when I'm done. Elena is very professional, has a great personality and always makes my spa day fun. I live in Ventura County and make the hour plus drive to get my facials done by Elena, she's that good. The spa itself is always very clean and the staff is really friendly and accommodating, as I've had to reschedule the day of sometimes. I have been going to Flawless for about a year now, and I have had laser treatments with 3 of their R.N.'s, all of which were very thorough, especially Cecilia, and all seemed to have good knowledge about skin. My results from the laser were so good that I decided to try Flawless Med Spa for filler injection. I have to say that when I went there to get a facials 3 times, I absolutely LOVED the estheticians Gaby,Amanda, and Elena. There was this one time I went when there was a lady at the front desk with a very convincing attitude.she was very nice and pleasant! She would call everybody sunshine.
