I went here as a gift from my husband with a Groupon for 20u of botox. I asked for my forehead and 11s. It ended up being 30 units altogether, which was fine. She was nice initially till she realized I had a Groupon. Her whole demeanor changed. When I was paying for the treatment, the secretary asked if she should schedule a follow up, and the injector said no need she has a Groupon. For background, I have used botox before and received it in Korea at a skincare clinic. I loved the results then and thought it would be similar to that treatment. In Korea, they cleanse and numb your face prior to treatment. They also show you the bottle before they draw it into the needle. At skin perfect brothers, she turned her back to me and didn't show me that it really was botox. It could have been dysport for all I know. She rubbed a Vaseline type cream on my forehead without wiping it clean and just started injecting (after marking my muscle movement). Its only been 5 days, and we'll see in 2 weeks at its full development. I wanted an annual visit there, but after that treatment... I'm good. They did text me to see if I was happy with it. I had a terrible experience at this med spa. I went in for a thread lift procedure, expecting it to be performed by the provider Joseph. Instead, without my consent, a trainee ended up doing most of the procedure with Joseph guidance. I was never informed or asked if I was comfortable with that, which is completely unacceptable for a medical procedure that cost $1800. I've returned to the spa five times over the past two months, and the results are still horrible--uneven, painful, and far from what was promised. Approximately 2.5 weeks ago, I visited this clinic for the first time for Xeomin injections to the forehead and glabella. This was my fourth time receiving neuromodulator injections overall, but my first experience at this clinic. I chose this location based on its Yelp reviews. My appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but I was not brought into a room until nearly 5:00 PM. Once roomed, a front desk staff member named Leah took photos and asked what treatment I wanted. After I explained I wanted Xeomin for the forehead and glabella, she looked at me and stated "30 units." I was surprised, as I was unaware she would be assessing treatment or determining dosage, and her credentials were not explained. This was also the highest number of units I had ever been recommended. I assumed it may have been appropriate given prior treatments. Before seeing the provider, I was asked to pay. Paying prior to receiving care felt transactional and impersonal, and there was little to no customer service throughout the process. PA Joseph eventually came in, engaged in brief small talk, and performed the injections. I was given no aftercare instructions, but fortunately I was already familiar with proper aftercare from previous clinic. This would be concerning for first-time patients. Over the following two weeks, I noticed only mild tightness and continued forehead movement with visible lines. On day 15, my husband noticed that my left eye appeared smaller than my right. I contacted the clinic and was asked to come in for a follow-up. My follow-up appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, yet I was not brought back until 3:15 PM. Again, the appointment time felt meaningless. PA Nikki began the visit and suggested the issue could be related to aftercare, such as sleeping position or bending forward. However, I followed proper aftercare guidelines. PA Joseph arrived more than an hour after my scheduled appointment time and minimized my concerns, stating it "could be my fault or could be yours." He offered a prescription for eye drops and sent me on my way. Overall, I deeply regret trying this clinic. The experience felt rushed, cold, and lacking in patient-centered care both times. Due to the poor results, lack of communication, and dismissive response to complications, I would not return--even if services were offered at no cost--and would not recommend this clinic to others. I've been coming for years for my Xeomin/Botox and this place could be LA's best kept secret. This review is specifically for their lip art service as I've already left a review for their threads as my first visit. Since then I've returned consistently for Xeomin, but no additional threads. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that their menu item "lip art" meant they did lip fillers so I tried a place in ktown that my friend recommended for lips a few months back. The results did not last and my experience was not great so I called and asked to book for lip filler at Skin Perfect Brothers this time. Joseph was my injector and he is phenomenal. Throughout the years, he has stayed up to date on the latest techniques and methods and has only gotten better. What really makes him stand out is his eye for detail and artistry. He injected the filler primarily in the center of my lips to maximize on volume and minimize migration or that duck bill look, along with strategic drops of filler onto the rest of my face. August 28 2014 I'm finally getting IPL and Fraxel for my face tomorrow! I am little passed thirty and was skeptical about laser procedures on my skin that this is actually my first time ever to the skin clinic. I researched for many many days and finally ended up at skin perfect brothers. Going over all the reviews, i wished if they could put before review with before and after pictures. I've took a picture of my self to compare after. I'll be having IPL for dark spots on my cheeks and wrinkle under my eyes and Fraxel for large pores on my nose. Yes!! Pore minimizing! ! I know everyone is so curiouse of how its going to look after the treatment. I will get back on this after the trestment!!! Wish me a luck!! September 4 2014 I'll just add another review here instead of updating one more. First of all, instead of Fraxel on the nose and IPL on the cheeks, I had Fraxel on the nose for enlarged pores, fraxel under eys for wrinkles and spectra? on the cheeks for dark spots. When he saw the dark spots on the day of treatment, said it looks lighter than before, that it might be deeper than he thought, he should use spectra but not IPL as lighter ones are usually more deeper. Somepeople could think that he's not an expert changing the decision...BUT I dont!!! Based on the thousands of review that I read, all the docs just proceed w/treatment that he mentioned on the first day of meeting and follow the charts on the day of treatment. But it was different! After reviewing the chart, he looked in to my face and pointing out this and that & how he feel about other treatment that's better for certain spots. He looked very serious like if he was treating his family. If you can resist on the pain of the treatment, he will do his best with all the efforts to pull out to the best result he wants! Oviously, your reaction to the pain makes the doc not do everything he actually wants to do. This lady(I forgot her name..guess she was a manager)was assisting doc while the treatment given. She was almost good as the doc, If doc knew what to as a doc, she knew how to handle things as a women...made me feel so secure that I was able to take all those harsh lasers, putting numb cream twice..not missing a spot, putting icepad on the area inbetween the laser contact to cool down the pain. She actually stopped the doc to have ice pad under my eyes, telling him that it will hurt less if she does it that way! I thank god for her being there! LOL Diffrent from IPL, because he chose to Spectra on my cheeks, I have to go there for 3more treatments. But I guess that not con...as he thinks it will bring better result. Until today, I don't see any difference on the dark spots. But I could wait.. as they already told me that I would see some results after couple of treatment, if that's true.
