Looking at your ad on line, you have a hose cart on sale for $89. Also looking on line again I see the Oshkosh store has zero. Why would this store have a sale and have none available? There is a feral cat colony that has made their home in Fleet Farm's yard. A few caring employees help take care of them including working with a rescue to get all cats TNR'd (Trap, spayed/neutered and returned) The general manager has made it clear he does not want cats there and has just recently threaten to POISON them. Headed to the Auto Center today for a tire repair. They were supposed to open at 8:00 and at 8:15 there were 4 people in line. Nobody. Literally, nobody showed up for work at the Fleet Farm auto center! They called in one person at 8:15 who was scheduled for 9. She said nobody was scheduled to open! Then, when she started working with the line of customers, she said there was nobody in the back to do any work! People had scheduled service! I called the store and talked to a manager. I asked how it happens that they have nobody scheduled to work in the auto center. She said, "Well, sometimes people get sick and other things come up..." I said, "Your entire staff??" There are much better places to get service in Oshkosh. West Side Tire & Auto took care of me. read more

I use to go to FF all the time before they were bought out, not so much now their not the same. Now saying that I went into the service garage today, told them I have a FF battery and the car wouldn't start without a charge . I asked if they could check to see if battery was shot , they said no come back in a couple of hours I said it would take him 5 minutes to check, he said he only had 1 mechanic I said what about you he said no. I left drove to service oil on Omro road mechanic said he was busy but he would check it , long story short bought a battery from service oil . FF I'm done with you read more

Never again! I felt cheated. Went there to buy a rifle and saw a cheap 179 hand gun there. Waited 6 days for the background check (not their fault) when I finally got to buy them $1132 later. The lady said I still got the price because it was a clearance. So with both guns together I didn't think about it until I got home and over charged $20. They claimed the clearance gun was the all black model even though the one that I got was the one with the tag in the display case. She said she would talk to her manager and call me tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went. I went to the store with my receipt and they would not help me. I feel bait and switched. Got the old "you still got a sale price" line. It wasn't the price it was tagged at. They made me feel like I was wasting their time after spending $1132 in that store. This was a second chance I was giving them after another bad experience there. I will never go back. read more

I've found clearanced spicy snack mix, which is nice. clothing and shoes are really expensive. I like getting moped out by the rubber tire smell throughout the store, so that's a plus for me personally. helpful staff and clean. read more

if you are going to staff kids in the battery dept, how about training them on all the types of different batteries. This kid did not even know what type of batterie i was looking for. Fleetfarm used to be a great store but ever since they sold out to the corporate world it went way down. I had a major tire issue on my way to work today....i made it to a local service station and received extremely poor service to say the least. I called Fleet Farm and Jon took control. Incredibly disappointed! Took a small tractor tire in for a tube on February 14 at 5:30PM. The lady behind the counter said they could not put a tube in due to weather checking on the outside rubber. She said the tube would be pinched which i disagreed with as we rubber inside the tire cords still enabled it to hold air for a weekI I also shared that they had done the identical tire in the same condition from the other side of the tractor a few weeks ago. It worked great and that was why a brought this one in to be tubed. I was not asking for a guarantee of any sort. She reluctantly took the tire but was her comments an body language Indicated that this was more inconvenience for them than desirable work. I asked when I could pick it up and she said in a few days. I asked if it sooner and she said I did not have an appointment. I asked when the next availability appoint was and she said tomorrow at 2:30. I said that would be fine. I never heard so much "can't" from some in a service industry! She was really not interested in offering solutions to help the customers and just had bad attitude. Today when I checked on progress I was told the would not put a tube in it. should have seen that coming! I'm on my way to pick up my tire and go to Menards to buy a tube which I will put in myself. The good news is there are plenty of options to get what I usually purchase from fleet farm at Menards or Amazon. I tend have long memory and will not be spending any money at a company that has workers that treat customers like this! DONE With all fleet farms! read more

Took the afternoon off with my daughters to shop for clothes to go deer hunting. Asked a "Manager" in sporting goods to help us find a women's size bib not on the floor. She told me they only had two people working in her department so she could help in an hour. Yes, I was expected to leave and come back or wait an hour for help. Stunned and a bit amazed, I commented in a sum-what sarcastic way on management may need to be improved. She retrieved my daughters bibs in away leaving me the feeling I completely inconvenience her. I also got a lecture from her on how they can't possibly stock the floor to meet everyone's needs. So, I paid for items (about $300 and nearing $2,000 of hunting items just this year) and left. I have now shared this story with everyone at work, I will share it with all my friends and family at deer camp. I know my adult daughters started sharing with their mother and some friends. All the Manager had to do is say It would be our pleasure to help you... Call the GM. Apolitical and said he would look into it. He also never took my number or offered to follow up with me. read more

Oshkosh Tire Center refused to put tires on my custom rims, said his tire tec will not install tires on rims that do not match the tire size on the door jamb?? I know rules-but why would another tire shop in Oshkosh not even question putting tires on my rims. Never again will by tires from Fleet Farm !! Absolutely do NOT go near the auto service center. Went in to get 4 new tires , they bent my rim. They refused to take responsibility for it claiming it was bent when I came in. This is the second time they have done this. I went in a little over a year ago to get 4 new tires for another car and the bent my rim then as well. They ultimately admitted to bending it last time ( after literally screaming at them) and replaced the rim. This time they wanted me to fill out there insurance papers ( must have become a common problem). I asked the manager to put my old tires back on and I'd go elsewhere, when I asked how long it would take the manager asked the mechanic who very smugly replied he was busy( while standing there chit chatting with 2 other mechanics. I tried to be fair and give them another chance thinking ,accident's happen, but this is clearly a pattern. 2 strikes is enough for me. Stay away at all costs, it may cost you your car. read more

Went to get tires rotated on my truck. They said they couldn't rotate because they were unsafe and needed a alignment. Had new tires installed. Made appointment for alignment 3 days later. Got truck back after 15 min. and was told it did not need alignment. Went in 20000 mi. later to get rotated and balanced. Told they need alignment. Left after talking to a manager very unsatisfied with the results. Do not use there store. There is a reason they can't keep mechanics. read more

They are one of the only places that has gas without ethanol. So we go and buy gas for our boat here. The clothing selection sometimes looks like it's made for farmers, printed sweatshirts, dickey work clothes. Their shoes selection is wide but is a little pricey. It's a good place to pick up canning supplies, Sauders furniture and life jackets. read more

My husband and I just purchased a cartload of winter gear and had planned to use a gift certificate. It was not working at first when Jacob B. was entering it in the computer so we had told him to forget it, and we would simply use our credit card. No problem. He had already summoned the manager over so when the manager or shift supervisor came, Jacob B. graciously told him to forget it. What I was annoyed with was how the manager/supervisor reacted and scolded Jacob for bothering him and "making him walk all the way over to the cash register for no reason." I felt bad for the employee and thought that this incident did not represent the store well since many people were in line and witnessed this since the store was clearly understaffed at the time. Way to go, Jacob B.! You were awesome at POS ,and it was not your fault at all. read more
