I've been here twice in my wee life span. The first visit was quite annoying. The staff member wouldn't leave me alone while trying on shoes, I do prefer a little bit more space but Ik she was just doing her job. But the most recent visits was absolutely acceptable! My boy with the spiky hair did an admirable job when getting the shoes and informing what they had in stock. The first pair he pulled out was the one for me ‍ so shout out to him and get him a raise (the guy can be found by asking who assisted the two teenagers find Kinvara 15 size 10.5). It was a great experience! Vincent was the person who did the imaging of my feet. Based on the results, he asked if I'd like to try on shoes that would help with stability. He was spot on as he explained the images taken of my feet. He brought out 3 pairs of shoes.. I was very impressed- with his knowledge of each shoe. I decided on the pair Magnifly 5. So happy to have a Fleet Feet in Madison! This store is brand new with lots of space. They have a huge selection of shoes, inserts and clothing. We were quite impressed with the technology they use to 3D map your feet called Volumental. Everyone was very friendly but be prepared to wait to be helped if you visit during peak hours. I was in Fleet Fert a couple weeks ago and picked up some clearance running shoes. I went in to purchase some support insoles and the clearance table caught my eye...I have had that particular brand shoe before and was excited about my new purchase. After wearing one of the shoes for a day, I realized that they did not offer the support that I needed. I decided to return them. I told the associate Mark about my problem and he did say the shoes I had purchased where not the right ones for me. He offered to scan my feet, since I had not had them scanned in over 6 months. I was fitted for shoes that actually fit my feet and my whole body is no longer in pain after a workout and I have the support in the shoe that I needed! Word to the wise...if you go into Fleet Feet please ask the associates if the shoe you are purchasing is the right one for you. They are all so helpful, patient and nice. If you are on a budget, let them know they will find the right shoes for you, your feet and your budget! Desperate for new pair of shoes! I came because I learned that the staff would have PROFESSIONAL solutions for me as I have had multiple foot surgeries & have been dealing with sciatica. While waiting my turn (the staff is fully engaged one-on-one with customers), the young lady at the front checked me in & offered me tea or coffee while I waited. Jared approached me by name when it was my turn for assistance. I was so happy because I had read good reviews on him before! I was so happy to learn that he was actually at this location today. First, Jared interviewed me about the purpose of my visit, and to hear about what type shoe I was currently wearing & what I was interested in. After I explained my desire shoe construct , color preferences, physical concerns & issues, he did an analysis of my feet on two different pieces of equipment. Afterward, he showed & explained to me the very detailed results of the foot analysis which enabled him to make 3 great shoe selections for me to try on--both socks & shoes! Walk-throughs with each show type and conversation with Jared helped me make my final choice. He was especially attentive of my needs, being an older woman, about ease in putting my shoes on and taking them off so I opted to get the elastic shoelaces & glider/locks that enable me to slip my shoes off & on! Because of foot surgeries, I have some crowding in the toe area, so I purchased several pairs of glove-style socks Jared recommended! The store has a great atmosphere, and the staff is very professional, attentive, and engaging. I was so pleased with my visit that I am bringing my son-in-law next week!
