Great experience coming here! I just started at Orangetheory and I was in serious need of some new shoes for running on the treadmills and training. Going in, I had no idea what I was looking for, but I am so glad I decided to come here (I've never run in my life before so this was all super new to me). The staff came to help me immediately as I walked in. They will first take a 3D scan of your feet and tell you all about what kind of support they recommend and your feet shape (which was so interesting to hear!). The sales associate then came over with a few options, and I found the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever tried on--I was amazed! Although I wasn't crazy about the colors they had in the store, the employee walked me through exactly how to get a color I loved; they'll be arriving at my door within the next week! This store is amazing and the people who work here are also amazing! My husband and I each bought shoes from here and the service and advice was phenomenal. If you care about your feet and want the best shoes for your body, this is the place to come. If you care about fashion more than function, hit the mall. These people are all about function and performance. Four months after I bought the shoes, the top of my foot would go numb during long walks. I went back in for advice, worried they'd say I needed a new pair. Nope. He looked at my foot and saw I had an arch, adjusted the lacing on my shoes, and it cured the problem. What???? Amazing, right? After 10 months, it was time for new ones and it was another flawless experience. Since my husband bought his the same time I bought mine, he asked if he needed new ones as well. This is an awesome place for all your running and race needs. I only came in to get my race packet but I had bought my running shoes from here earlier. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful to running newbies. They have a lot of choices but considered my needs, budget and style when helping find my running shoes. It was a good experience. Plus, they offer training groups or run clubs if you're new to running or training for longer races. I did one a year ago and it was a lot of fun and got me running more. I am an avid runner and have been running long distance since a very young age. However, I somehow never really been fitted for a shoe. After my last marathon, I decided it was time to get a great pair of shoes that fits my foot style, heel, and all that jazz. I went in during the week because I had heard on the weekends it can get busy and backed up due to their great customer service and attentive nature with their customers. It did not take long for them to check out my feet and get the low down on what style of shoe would work best for me (which was not the type of shoe I was running in). After trying on multiple style of shoes, I decided on one that has been a dream. I have a tendency to roll my ankles and have not done so once. On top of this, I have frequently went into the store before big races to get my energy chews, and snacks for mid run and post run. They are always quick to give recommendations and so far have not been wrong on any of the products I have purchased from them. The final thing I want to say is totally get the socks there. They have great compression socks that make long distance runs so much easier and easier on your feet. read more

The employee leaves me standing there to check out the customer who cut me off. After the customer left, I politely asked the employee why she let the other customer go first. She is incredibly knowledgeable about shoes and trail running in general so she really understand where I was starting from. I knew that I was in dire need of new running shoes when I woke up after a long run and felt pain on the soles of my feet. I usually bargain hunt for the same shoes I wear year after year but decided that for an upcoming marathon it might be a good idea to get a proper fitting. I went into Fleet Feet with my current shoes and was greeted by a super friendly and helpful gentleman. He asked me my weekly mileage, measured my feet, watched me walk, looked at my gait, my ankles, and really worked with me to find the perfect shoe. It turns out that he used to outfit people on the trail and really knew what he was talking about which impressed me. He basically told me that I was wearing the correct shoe for my foot and then offered the same model and one more that was a slight price point below. After trying them on he let me run around the parking lot in them to make sure they fit well. The thing that impressed me the most with Fleet Feet is that there wasn't a hard sale. He offered socks and nutrition, but since I had both, declined. It was such an easy process and I felt like I was getting the best fit for me. Went there for shoes to help with plantar fasciitis. I did some research on the web, called them, talked to a very helpful staff member there. Arrived Friday day late morning, and they were busy! Fortunately they have a sign in board , like take a number in delis. We looked at all the apparel while we waited for our turn. They got to us, listen to the problem and proceeded . First , stand on a computer sensored board. It takes measurements and transfers it to a tablet that the employee reads. They interpret the information and gather shoes that would help you. Ann, was awesome! Brought several shoes and insoles-orthotics, to try on. Explained everything. The proper shoe, proper fit , and comfort. It's not about price, it's about fit and comfort. I went to Fleet Feet this weekend to get properly fitted for a running shoe for the first time. I was so happy with the service I received. The woman helping me was knowledgeable but beyond that, she seemed like she genuinely cared about helping people and enjoyed her job. She guided me to a shoe that worked great for me and she never pressured me. She even showed me a great massage to do with a roller to help with my shin splints. I really appreciated that! This is the only place I'll be buying running shoes from now on. It's entirely worth the hour long drive! I also loved that everyone was wearing masks and sanitizing surfaces. read more

I am beginning a new workout regimen. I'm adding running to strength training. I went in FF because I heard they have a computer system that scans your feet to give an exact fit in running shoes. The scanning machine didn't work so the sales lady used her own experience to help me find a shoe. The shoes fit fine and I'm happy with how they feel when I run. Not my first time at Fleet Fert but my first time at this location. I stopped in yesterday the place was packed with people getting fit. I threw my name on the list and wandered for about 10 mins until my name was called. They ask simple questions to get a feel for what you're doing, what you're training for and what you're currently running in. They had me stand on this pad that took a 3D image of my feet and then popped up on their iPad. They walked me through the shape and size of me feet and what that meant for shoes that would work best for me. They brought out 3 different pairs and we went through them all making sure they were the proper fit and they felt good for me. It was a painless experience and an educational one. I have very specific needs for my feet, due to club foot surgery as an infant, and they were able to find the perfect footwear for me. Stopped into Fleet Feet today to buy new running shoes. I'm just getting back into running after a 3 year hiatus due to an extremely stressful, former job. I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be taken seriously since I'm a bit out of shape. Beth greeted me immediately and was absolutely wonderful. She was completely understanding of my situation, and provided encouragement and praise for getting back into running. Some were with customers but they could have simply welcomed me and stated they would be with me. It's a very small store. Someone walking in is certainly noticeable.
