I took my rig to Fleet Services for an oil change and to have a coolant flow valve installed. I got a call back from Alex saying that his technician would need an additional two hours of labor to get the coolant flow valve installed upon picking up the rig. He said that his technician was able to cut some zip ties and move some of the electrical wiring around and there was no need for the additional two hours of labor. In today's market service seems to be a lost art but not with Fleet Services and Alex. They rock and you can trust them.! read more

Avoid this. Defective workmanship. Took my diesel motorhome in for a bad def sensor. I spent almost $3500 to repair and they gave me a 90 day warranty. My motorhome is not a daily driver so 90 days is not very long to stand behind their repair. So I took the motorhome on a trip 4 months later and the def system failed and I was stranded for 2 days while a Kenworth dealer repaired the system that Fleet Services had just worked on. The diagnosis is that Fleet services did not replace the parts back cleanly and got clumps of dirt in the tank causing the system to plug up and did not replace the filter. The repair cost over $3000 and the Kenworth dealer stated the cause of the breakdown was directly related to Fleet Services repair, not assembling and replacing the parts back in a clean and thorough manner. The management at Fleet Services declined to stand by their warranty because they said I had to bring back to them. I was broke down in Utah. They removed the tank to replace the sensor and they got dirt in the tank and did not replace the filter when reassembling. Then they would not stand by their work blaming the Kenworth Dealer for getting the debris in when they took it apart. Only issue with this is the dirt was in the line and in the pump and the tank had the dirt when the tank was removed. They filled the tank with def and it was not until I added more that the problem happened. I put in clean def and they are just lying to cover their poor workmanship. I have a report from the Kenworth dealer and pictures showing the dirt they found in the tank and the manager still denied they did it. read more

My first time there. I arrived just before my appointment time and they took care of me right away. I brought in my freight liner motorhome. They took care of all my requested services, went over the inspection they performed and didn't try to sell anything else. Can't say enough good things about Fleet Services! Broke down on the I-5 Frwy on Wednesday and my roadside service could not locate anyone who could help me. I called Fleet Svc. and they dispatched Matt out to where I was located in Buena Park and he was able to get me up and running enough to limp it in to their shop. Had broken a shock and the rear airbag dumped causing the coach to lower and rub the tire against part of the frame. I arrived the next day at the shop and Harold was already on the phone to Tiffin explaining what was wrong and what needed to be repaired. Tiffin had the parts there on Friday morning and our coach was ready later that afternoon. Great service, treated fairly and I had them service our generator and the cost was inline with what it should have been. Cost for the other repairs were covered by Tiffin. Took my motor home in for generator service. They did not have the parts in Michigan 4 months ago when I was there so they sent them to me in California where I live when they finally came in. The box contained everything for my generator, water pump, hoses, clamps, belt, switches, etc. $400.00 worth. i told the service writer, Christian, to give me back all parts taken off. i told him at least 4 times. I picked up the motor home yesterday and he said sorry, all parts were thrown away. I wanted the old parts for spares in case I got stranded again and parts were not available or long lead to get them. Many of them were still good for spares if needed. He is the one I talked to (4) times. He kept blaming the Tech. Worst customer service yet for my motor home. Not sure if the new parts were installed, no old parts to prove it. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. YOUR WALLET, PATIENCE, & MOTORHOME WILL THANK YOU! I really wanted to make this place my go to rv service center for my diesel pusher rv given how close it is to home. After a terrible experience it is not going to happen. I took the rv in to replace the several filters in the engine and generator as suggested in the owner's manual. I was told the job would run between $500 to $700 and take one or two days. While the rv was there I asked Dan if he could have the service people check the coach batteries for holding a charge, the hydraulic jacks as they got stuck in the down position last time we used them, and the brake ABS sensors as a warning light would periodically come on. They gave me the final bill of $1,000 with a straight face which is hard to imagine. The charges were: 1. A little more the $450 for all of the filters. OK. 2. $135 to run the jacks "up and down several times" noting no problem. Unbelievable. 3. $135 to plug the brake ABS controller into a diagnostic machine - noting no fault codes - and driving the rv for 9 miles not seeing the warning light. Unbelievable. 4. $200 and change to check the batteries. Completely unbelievable. Dan assured me they would keep me fully informed about the status of the tests. He never called, instead I had to keep calling to get progress updates. Ten days later I was told my rv was ready to pick up. When my wife and I went out to the rv the electric steps would not work and were dented. They said they did not notice that. Unbelievable. Jason (the other service writer) said he'd check it out and let me know how much it would cost to fix the problem. I received a call the next day saying the step motor was burned out and that it is a problem that happens sometimes. Jason asked me to let him know what I wanted to do. I just about lost it! Had to wait another three days for Dan to decide to "do us a favor and replace the motor at their cost rather than fight about it." So I drove away ripped off of several hundred dollars and dented steps that at least now work. AVOID this place. Having them check your windshield wiper blades will likely cost you $135! I agree with another reviewer on Yelp that most of the reviews for Fleet Services appear to be phony. Somehow my review was deleted. So here is another attempt. Dropped off my motorhome yesterday. Got a call this morning asking for $350 authorization to check the brakes, tires and a little switch for the overdrive as well as put the drive shaft back after the tow in. I thought that was a little pricy to start off. I received a recommendation for this place from Premier RV in La Habra. I've seen the other reviews here and I'm a little concerned, but I trust Premier as they are top notch. I'll update this review when I pick up my coach. I'll also post to Premier when I get it back. BTW I towed it in because when I picked it up from storage, the brakes went all the way got the floor. They were fine when I put it in storage a couple of months ago. I expect it to just be a line issue and an easy fix. read more

Overpriced and bad customer communication. My wife and I took our motor home in for some new filters recommended by the manufacturer at our current mileage. We had them also "check out" a few other issues (battery charge, hydraulic jacks, and ABS sensors for which a warning light would occasionally come on). We were told we should have our RV back in a day. We were finally able to pick it up 10 days later. I was the one who had to call every couple of days to check on progress as Fleet Services never called to update us despite assuring us they would do so. Out $480 filter job became $1,000 when the "check out" items were added on. We were charged $200 for checking the batteries, $135 for running the jacks up and down several times with no problem found, and $135 for driving the RV for 11 miles without the check ABS light coming on. We also got our RV back with damaged entry steps. I will bring my business elsewhere. read more

I have used fleet for my RV repairs and service for a few years now. They replaced a radiator in my Newmar and other misc repairs, oil changes.... The last time I took it in for service, after inspection they said it needed nothing!!!!!!! Dan is always very helpful and they are fair on their pricing IMO. read more

I pass by their shop frequently and you can tell they do top notch work from the semi's, diesel pushers, fire trucks, etc. They have to be that busy for a reason. From the moment I got there Dan went over all my concerns, what they would be servicing, all the fine details and price. They got the work done in a reasonable amount of time and delivered as promised. Dan wasn't there for pick up and his partner Richard went over what all they serviced and break down of receipt. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! I have spent over 8k with them on my diesel pusher. Everytime it is the same thing, it takes 4-6 weeks for the repair. Poor communication from them to their clients. You have to keep calling to get your repair done. You will be back at their shop because of poor workmanship and mis diagnosing your original complaint. Get ready for the grease and fingerprints all over your RV. The last and final time I got my RV returned to me with large cracks in my new windshield, dirty finger prints, fuel door rivets popped and the inside bed pulled apart to access the engine. They told me it was my fault and they didn't believe the damage was from them. This is how they treat valued clients . Nice. read more
