Fleshers Refrigeration (technician Lupe) completely misdiagnosed my HVAC issue, falsely claiming there was prior water damage to the fan motor before it failed. This error led my home warranty company to deny my claim, leaving me stuck with a $1,200 bill out of pocket. It's likely that Fleshers was only getting paid a certain amount by my home warranty company and didn't see the benefit of installing a new motor. Arizona summers are relentless, and I was forced to go three days without AC. I called every morning at 9 AM, only to be told by the receptionist that Henry would call me back in the evening--he never did, not once. I get that HVAC companies are busy during the heat, but that's no excuse for the total lack of professional courtesy, empathy, or follow-up. Tech was friendly and explained that I would need refrigerant line repaired and 5 pounds of refrigerant to be replaced into the AC unit. I was advised that the refrigerant would not be covered by my home warranty company and that they would have to submit their estimate for approval from My warranty company. I was told that they would be able to return the same day or the next day at the latest ,following the approval. I understood and agreed. I waited 48 hours without AC in 110 degree weather. Fleshers lied to my warranty company by stating that I denied their services and that I would be seeking my own 3rd party services. I called Fleshers 5 times throughout the day with no answer and no response. I called my warranty company to try and get an answer. They called Fleshers with no response. We are 6 days in over 100 degree weather and still waiting on this company. read more

Please Fix the scheduling windows Contracted through home warranty at American Homeshield. 4 hour window customer has to deal with and a 15 min heads up when actually inbound. Super inefficient use of time this way. Was told excuse of due to unpredictable service times at other homes. Sounds like lack of data analysis and improvement and the company is ok with it. Instead of the scheduling lady making excuses for the company, she could empathize with the customer and document the complaints overtime. This would allow customer data to be acquired. As a customer, I do not wish to pay for a 4 hour wait time with my time or otherwise and I would be willing to bet it costs the company money, nor would I think that the inefficient scheduling should be put on the customer but it happens all too often. Recommend improvement project with the following customer recommendations. 1. reduce scheduling window to two hours and/ or 2. Increase arrival "heads up" to 30 minutes. (knowing how long it takes service techs to finish packing up their tools and out briefing customer could be used to develop a timeline. this allows the customer to finish what they were doing and doesn't tie them to their home for 4 hours. other recommendation: 3. Train staff on how to properly handle customer feedback. 4. having a website that takes customer feedback would avoid the whole world seeing this as well. It was the first thing I tried. read more

Absolute trash company. They were contracted through AHS home warranty. 16 days later, we are still without AC during temps of 115+ degrees with kids in the house. Today AHS tells us that Fleshers no longer wants to work with us???? After dragging us along for 2 weeks. We had an issue with our heater. It was not working. We have American Home Shield insurance. I put in a service request online. Much faster than waiting on hold for a rep. This was on a Friday so nothing was going to happen over the weekend. Promptly, on Monday I got an email from AHS that I was assigned to Fleshers Refrigeration. A few minutes later I got a phone call from Fleshers. Surprised it was so quick. I thought that I'd have to wait for days! I did get an eight hour window. I thought WOW; that's a long window of wait time, but he arrived within 1 hour! Christian was professional and got the heater to work. He did have to return a couple days later because two sensors had to be replaced. He was not much of a talker, but that's okay. Lol. Happy that our heater now works and we don't have to to freeze in the morning. I've had AHS for a while now and I think they are getting better in screening their service people for hire. read more

A/C failed on a Saturday afternoon in 115 degree temp. Reported to home warranty but expected a call back on Monday. They called in 10 min and were here in 40. 30 min later A/C was back running. American Home Shield warranty company sent Fleshers to repair my AC. 1st visit for AC air handler freezing up was quick but only said filter was dirty. Blamed it on us. Cost $100 service fee. I change the filter monthly. It was not TOO dirty to work properly. Changed filter again. 2nd visit days later, freezing up. Given an 8 hour window for visit. Stayed home all day. Fleshers Added STOP LEAK & DYE. 3rd visit days later freezing up. Diagnosed TXV(Thermal Exchange Valve) to be faulty. Need to evacuate r410a refrigerant from entire system to replace valve. Fleshers claim 10 pounds of r410a at a charge of $50 lb. needed. Warranty company reimburses $10 per pound(I can purchase for $4.84 lb.) Fleshers claim my existing refrigerant cannot be used because it is CONTAMINATED. FLESHERS CONTAMINATED it with STOP LEAK & DYE. Refuse to use my new, sealed r410a refrigerant. Fleshers REFUSED to do work if I won't pay their extortion rate of additional $40 per pound (total $50 per pound, that costs under $5.00 per pound)for refrigerant. Fleshers is being reimbursed $800+ for TXV and refrigerant and 4 hours labor. (Under $250 retail price for parts) and still wants to EXTORT $400 MORE from us on refrigerant for which they are already reimbursed. Do not recommend Fleshers for their refrigerant pricing at all. read more

My air conditioner stopped working a little over a week ago. I have a home warranty and they set me up with Fleshers. Fleshers personnel came out the next day (exactly when they said they would) and immediately diagnosed the issue, the high efficiency blower was done for. Of course my home warranty was a HUGE pain in the ass but Fleshers was on it. The lady in the office was amazing! Her name starts with a "Y" and she was great (I'm sorry I can't remember her name, it was very unique). My home warranty wouldn't allow Fleshers to buy the part because they wanted to "save" some money. And apparently the blower wasn't going to be here for nearly two weeks!! Mind you, this is SUMMER in Yuma! You know, where they were having a HEAT ADVISORY? The inside of our house was 97 degrees and I have two small children. The damn walls were sweating! "Y" and her supervisor called the home warranty and told them that is was dangerous for us to be there because of the heat advisory. And because they advocated for us, the blower got here within 5 days and it was installed that same day. The installers were fast and knowledgeable. "Y" was super professional and courteous. She called me several times to keep me informed of what was going on. They were amazing! If I could rate them 10 stars, I would.
