Mathew spends almost that much time on one of our two units. When he's done the units are spotless and have had a battery of diagnostic test run so we don't have any unexpected A/C issues. Nothing short of excellent service. Our Unit completely died on us. We called Hansberger around 4pm on a Thursday and we had someone at our house in less than 24 hours. Mike Mendivil was polite and professional and very knowledgeable. He inspected our unit and got other information on our home. He let us know his professional opinion and then wrote up our options for new units. He explained everything to us and made sure we understood the entire process. He had his team to our house first thing Monday morning to install our new unit. The team was just as polite and professional as Mike. Mike Mendivil is a great 'face' for Hansberger, straightforward and honest; everything he said he delivered. The rest of the team was equally impressive; (just as he'd promised). Hansberger is not the cheapest way to go. But they market top line goods. (My 21.5 SEER Lennox A/C saved me over $55 and I only had it 10 days of the current billing cycle; I'm looking for over $165/month and I wouldn't have gotten that from competitors 14 SEER quotes). Equally valuable is their unique 'Pearl' certification; (exclusive to Hansberger -at least in Yuma). This Certification adds the complete system cost to the MLS data. (In other words to all future appraisal/listing)! Don't underestimate this. Having done many improvements I've learned most don't enhance home value but are merely luxuries to be enjoyed and given-forward. (It's even got a name; 'over-improvements'). read more

Made and apt for a week out to have them come do some service work out our place. On the day of, a Tuesday, no one showed up at the scheduled apt. Time. I called them and Emma stated they had no record of the apt and that she would call me back later that day. The next morning Emma called me and stated again, that they had no record of my apt. These guys are really great when you have a small change of plans in a HVAC installation. I needed to make room for some plumbing upgrades and instead of delaying the plumber, Hansberger saved the day by shortly responding with a service visit. It was over 110. I wanted an estimate because my A/C Unit was not going to last long it wasn't working very good and I wanted to see what was available . Mike Mendivil was my consultant not pushy at all very professional and asked me what I wanted to do . after seeing my options it didn't make any since to me to put money into an old unit that was probably 1/2 as efficient when it was new when a new one was 4 times more efficient than what I had at its best . financing was available and reasonable which was a. big plus. to be honest no surprises no pushing of maintenance contracts . (easy to qualify for loan) time and date was set up for install crew and crane to lift and replace old unit with new one. the Installers were Miguel, Anthony , and Ruben . Each one was polite professional and courteous . they paid attention to details and took extra steps to make sure everything was done to a higher standard than most . I would ask questions which they didn't mind at all .you can tell when a person or several people like their occupation because they want to do quality work for the company they work for and to take pride in their job themselves . my Unit is whisper quiet and efficient . and will drastically lower my A.P.S. bills for many years to come. 100% satisfied. from start to finish . I've had three opportunities to engage Hansberger Refrigeration in the past 1-1/2 years. Our home's AC and our rental park model's similar unit needed a health-check before the heat of summer arrived in May 2019. Relying on YELP reviews I phoned Hansberger, and it wasn't long before Tony came and was able to engage the work. He took more than one personal mobile call while here and when his good-work had concluded, in an effort to mind costs I endeavored to gently usher him to his truck; even carrying his tools with him pointing out that he might consider the phone calls as he tallied my bill. He agreed with the logic and did in fact go easy on the billing. He was fair, gentlemanly and did a good job for me. The second was at the 32nd Street Lowe's in April when I met Richard D'Leon in the entry foyer where he had a Hansberger display. He noticed in striking up a conversation that the Reflectix material I had purchased was something he was familiar with. I told him of my plan to put the shiny insulated roll on the interior side of the windows. He explained the product and said it could generate so much heat, and because the heat couldn't escape, it had potential of ruining the window seal. It could have been an enormous error and cost my siblings and me dearly. Not a exaggeration to suggest thousands of dollars. Going to Lowe's again a few days ago, there was my hero Richard D'Leon. I told him of my gratitude and asked for his business card. I phoned the company and sang Richard's praises to his sales boss Albert Ruiz. Albert couldn't have been more gracious. I assured him that when next I needed HVAC help, Hansberger would get the work. Who knew how quickly that opportunity would arise? So tonight, I turned the thermostat up to activate the heating unit; something so seldom used in AZ, and within minutes the entire house went dark. Checking the electrical panel, the issue appears to be the Coleman heating unit; something that wasn't serviced in April. After speaking with the dispatch service, I'm decided to wait for morning when at 8am Hansberger will begin their day. Technician Andrew arrived in the afternoon and was great. He draped the floor w/ tarp, assessed what he could given the situation and will be returning on Monday. Emma, the dispatcher for Hansberger was patient and let me know that "Andrew is on his way". She is holding a time Monday for Adam's return. I would recommend Hansberger to anyone with HVAC needs. read more

I chose to have Hansberger replace the HVAC system with a Lennox unit. I my self had this done at my Michigan home and the service was and is wonderful. Here in Yuma it has been a nightmare. I chose Hansberger because of a Rotary connection. My husband was rotary and I try to use rotary member businesses. I should have known all was not going to be good when I paid for it and they slipped a maintenance contract charge in the price. My bad for not reading it in its entirety. It has been a nightmare for my daughter, dealing with them. They have not replaced a top piece yet and when she called to have it serviced, they did not do a full job requiring them to have to come back and do it. What befuddled me is why Lennox would have such a poorly representative of its company. Please if you are considering a new HVAC system avoid Hansberger unless you wish to have a troublesome relationship. read more

On Aug.30th, 2018 our A/C Unit stopped working. It was 118 outside and was getting just as hot inside our home. I called our "Home Warranty" and the company they said would be providing us service would be in contact with us within 1hr. to set up time for them to arrive, that hour passed as well as 4 more. I called the company they provided to us and was told due to it being a holiday weekend and so hot out they would not be able to get to us until the NEXT day Friday between 3pm-8pm. and if they did not get to us then they would be there on Tuesday. I was so upset and called our Home Warranty and told them I would be calling someone myself to come out. I called Hansberger that same day, I was not told I would have to wait until Friday or the next week,they sent someone out to our home and he repaired the problem that same day and we had a working AC unit and enjoyed our holiday weekend with a Cool home. The gentleman that came to our home was Charlie, he was outstanding!! He was so friendly, polite and honest. He was even kind to our (5) dogs and I would recommend him and Hansberger to do service in our home or my friends/family homes anytime. So, a great big THANK YOU!! To you all!! I suggest you don't buy their "service" to come 2 times a year to "check your a/c". You pay for it by the year and if your house sells like mine did, they do not refund your money, or transfer it to the new house. read more
