Unfortunately, Jerry's is not a spot that I see myself visiting again. I give Jerry's one star for the convenience of being able to go to a store and purchase without having to get out of the car. I also give it a star for being locally owned. I deducted stars because the convenience you get by going through a drive-thru amid a pandemic is derailed by the fact that no one wears a mask or seems to follow any safety protocols. The man who took my order didn't wear a mask even though he comes up to you to take your order or get your payment. There were also at least five family members who came walking up and past my car to get into the shop while we waited. One of those members then eventually was the one to give us our order without a mask. A note about the pizza from the $4 pizza special I'd like to mention is that it is similar to the small frozen pizzas that you get at the dollar store. To be fair that person who took the order made a point of pointing out that the pizza was small and from the freezer, but for the sake of patronizing a local business and being open-minded, I tried it anyway. The selection seems to vary with many things from chips and soda to laundry soap or WD40. The staff was also friendly.

Unfortunately, after a recent experience inside the store, I'll probably be going to a different Wawa a little farther away. While cleaning my house, I found a WaWa gift card and decided to use it for gas. This was my first time using a Wawa gift card to pay for gas, so I wasn't familiar with the process. I've also had employees at other stores check gift card balances before, so I assumed this was something that could be done at Wawa as well. I went inside to pay, and the man at the register was extremely unhelpful and unkind. He was busy talking to a someone behind the counter and didn't even greet customers. I understand that Wawa may not be able to check the balance of a physical gift card in the store, but I would have appreciated being told that upfront and directed to the 800 number by the employee instead of the interaction I had. He simply pointed out that the amount was written on the back in Sharpie. I explained that I had found the card while cleaning and didn't know whether the amount written on it was accurate and hoped that he could swipe the card to check the balance. He also didn't explain that I needed to try the card in card reader. He just stared at me and didn't really talk. What bothered me most was the lack of basic courtesy and assistance. I was made to feel as though I should have already known how the process worked, even though it was my first time using a Wawa gift card for gas. I'll continue to stop at Wawa for their prices, but I'll be going to a different location in the future in hopes of receiving better customer service.

Rumor has it the owner doesn't want the store and has tried giving it back to corporate. Well hello corporate, come get it. I ran in to use the ATM took about a min and a half. Finished at 8:19 pm and go straight to the cashier. There's 2 guys in front of me. I guess something happened with the lotto paper and the lady had to take her time getting new paper then another 7 mins trying to get it together. I thought she was the only one working. So from getting in line at 8:19 I did not leave untill 8:43. I did not buy any food. Now there are 6 other people behind me plus 2 others waiting that were there before me.
