Well they did and boy am I glad they did because I LOVE Kalesia and loved having the chance to show it to new people. I was just afraid there'd be too many of us. But I got super lucky and there was a large open table. Everyone really enjoyed their drinks. They all got the fancy blends but I'm perfectly happy with my "teatannic" (the largest size and that name cracks me up) Moroccan Mint. So refreshing iced. This is a delightful, cozy, Asian themed café. There are a few food options like bahn mi and rice bowls and tons of tea and a few latte options. The service is always so friendly and I always see little groups hanging out and chatting and individuals doing some studying or working. They even have a gorgeous quiet room, set up to take your shoes off and sit comfortably on the floor and study or write or work in peace. I could definitely see bringing my laptop and working on a novel with a delicious, comforting tea. I haven't tried the food yet because every time I come here it's either right before or right after dinner plans, but it looks and smells SO good and my time is coming!

I picked the spicy red Thai curry that comes with rice and I also ordered an immunity tea. The seasoning was perfect. Lightly spice curry and a calming immunity tea. The restaurant is clean and open. There is even a quiet room with cushion around the table. The gift shop has lots of teas and tea sets as well as tea balls. The food was hot and fresh. A very nice environment.

What a cute finished cottage turned kitsch cat coffee house. Blink and you'll miss it. This cute…read moreancient cottage hosts an eyeful of purple decor with all kinds of surprises. Clothes, socks, hair ribbons, pastries, empanadas, panna cotta and of course coffee and tea. After chatting up the resident baristas and empanada chef, i chose a creamsicle cold coffee and an ubé panna cotta. Both were delicious. Funky music playing in the background, college students studying and free wifi. Def worth the hunt to find it. The baristas are very sweet and explained all their offerings.

You'd never guess busy Fowler Avenue and all those shiny new businesses are just steps away. This is free-spirited, relaxing and zen. You can study here, chill-out and reset. It's colorful and very sunny, but it would also be the snuggliest place to sit while it's raining and just sip away and read. There are so many drink and food options here. I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. And the service is friendly. I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll be back to try the apple fritter croissant and soak up more relaxation. Happy days from Felicitous!
