After they finished with the first project they came back and told us that it would be over the estimate they gave us. Till all was said and done with that project the cost was more than double the original estimate. We decided to not have them do the second part of the remodel and asked for a refund of the difference between the actual cost and the amount we gave them as a deposit (more than $4000). They gave us a check back, which they then in turn stopped payment on. When I finally got a hold of them to demand payment, they told us we broke the contract and were not entitled to the refund. We never signed a contract with them, it was an invoice!
