Very bad and rude service, Teresa the owner is rude and the servicing of watches is of extremely poor standard

If I could give them lass than 1 star I would. I went to have my engagement ring resized and they broke my emerald stone. They didn't even tell me and then acted like it wasn't that noticeable. Then to have it changed, at their expense, took WEEKS. We were able to pick the stone to replace it with but it doesn't look right. They ruined my engagement ring, took ages to fix it and it still looks wrong. Not only that but they said they wouldn't charge me for the resizing but I said I had already paid so they couldn't refund me? NEVER SHOP HERE IS IT TERRIBLE AND THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS AND ITEMS LIKE TRASH. Also, I'm pretty sure the owner has her clearly under 14 year old child working there handling payments and card details. It's a horrible place. I'm beyond disappointments and feel like they ruined my most important piece of jewellery. read more

Nice little shop. The kind ladies in there helped me pick an ancient bracket for the wife. It is to easy to go online and order things people of Walton on Thames back local shops like this because once they are gone because they are not being used they will be sorely missed. I do it would be great if they sold badger shave brushes and razors. read more

PLEASE AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! My item dented on first wear, and broke completely and cut my finger by the 3rd time of wear. After reading all other reviews, I see this is a recurring theme for this shop! On returning to the shop, I was offered a repair.. but when it was made clear that I wished for a refund the store owner became immediately irate and accused my mother of I of being 'aggressive', 'abusive' and 'giving her looks'!!! She was the rudest woman I have ever encountered, referring to my item as 'a cheap thin silver ring', saying that I purposely damaged my items and ultimately refused to offer a repair or put any of this in writing for us. I voice recorded the encounter as I could not believe how the store owner was acting. She constantly told me it was 'illegal' and unjust to record without her permission... We have had it confirmed that it is not illegal to do this. She even locked us in her shop and called the police on us claiming we were 'abusing her' and 'would not leave' even though she had not once asked us to leave.. and we had been leaving when she locked us in! I have warned all of my family and friends, and will also be warning all others in the local area. I am currently in the process of contacting trading standards; this store cannot continue to run in such a disgusting manner it is an embarrassment to Walton town center! read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE - Very poor after sales service. I have given these a 1 star because initially thought they have some nice products in store. I purchased a necklace and charm from here (just under £100.00) and although clumsily gift wrapped (girl stuck sellotape on the gift box making it tare when opening) I was pleased with my purchased gift. After one use the chain broke and on inspection it looked like the links were not soldered together properly. I returned it to the shop with my receipt and explained what had happened to be told that it could be repaired no problem at all. Assuming this would be free I asked when I could return to collect to be told that there was a charge for this service which was almost as much as I'd paid for the chain! When I pointed this out, a rather stroppy older shop assistant (possibly the manageress) told me that it wasn't broken when I'd walked out of the shop with it so that I had to pay or purchase a new chain. I asked her to return my chain and I walked out of the shop! I would strongly recommend that you do NOT purchase from this shop or risk appalling after-sales service. read more

this shop is beyond a disgrace the manager is rude. i have never been to a shop that hold sold such poor quality products. do not go here spend your money in a reputable shop. avoid at all costs. products are tarnished and unreturnable. read more

Do not use this shop. They have recently ripped off a friend who took in a ring for repair. After deciding that the quote was too much she went into the shop to fetch the ring they had already carried out the work. My friend was upset and they staff were very nasty and insisted that she paid even though they admitted that the work was not requested. Eventually my friend paid as the ring had sentimental value and after the way they behaved did not trust them with it. This is not a bad review for the sake of it the shop's behaviour has been disgraceful. Don not use this shop - especially for repairs. read more

I feel compelled to comment that I recently (March 2016) experienced one of the worst examples of customer service I have had in years, at Fleur Jewellery in Walton. My request was to have a diamond replaced in my ring and to have it taken down one size. The diamond was replaced but it was taken down THREE sizes and dipped in something (Rhodium?) that changed its colour from looking like yellow gold to white gold - which I didn't ask for, wasn't offered and told that "that's what everyone wants these days"!!! I was told my order was confused with the re-sizing a few receipts before mine and "mistakes happen". Irma, the jeweller and the sales assistant, Theresa, both told me different versions of what happened with the colour! I was then accused of calling one of their staff a liar twice (which I categorically didn't), and I pointed that out), she kept over talking me on the telephone, accused me of being "fussy" and then told me that she was "fed up of getting in between me and the person working on my ring"!!! I reminded her that they are responsible for who they contract with, not me - I simply took a ring in to their shop. To top it all off, they tried to overcharge me by £10 as the result or a failure in internal communication. The same person who suggested I was calling her a liar, was the person who suggested I was trying to get away with £10 charge (for cleaning of a necklace). Later sorted out. I was correct. Utterly stressful and exasperating experience. I will never use this shop again and feel others should be aware of how they treat customers when deciding whether to shop there themselves. I have not received a single apology for their failings. read more
