They didn't even tell me and then acted like it wasn't that noticeable. Then to have it changed, at their expense, took WEEKS. We were able to pick the stone to replace it with but it doesn't look right. They ruined my engagement ring, took ages to fix it and it still looks wrong. Not only that but they said they wouldn't charge me for the resizing but I said I had already paid so they couldn't refund me? NEVER SHOP HERE IS IT TERRIBLE AND THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS AND ITEMS LIKE TRASH. Also, I'm pretty sure the owner has her clearly under 14 year old child working there handling payments and card details. It's a horrible place. I'm beyond disappointments and feel like they ruined my most important piece of jewellery.

The designs they offer on the website are only a taste: they will make anything you want to your own specifications with a full silver / cz mockup if you want it. You will get far better value and quality than on the high street here, and you will be able to examine your own diamond under the microscope to see those hearts and arrows. There's a lot of window display space so you can have a really good browse even if you can't afford to buy anything. The shop itself is generally kept beautifully clean and tidy and there are usually enough staff on standby so you don't have to wait long to be served. I've made a couple of major purchases here and didn't have any big problem with either the goods or the staff. However, the second time I bought something I did have to wait ages while a Saturday person got permission from the store manager to do something really minor - not great customer service. But apart from that, would recommend Goldsmiths in Staines if you have some money to spend.

Check out their awesome Tag Heuer range: the most expensive one tops out at around 5000 pounds, so expect to wipe away any potential drool while window shopping. They also have more affordable options that start at around 200 pounds, so it's also a really good place to shop for a gift that's a little more on the expensive side. Everything is tax free, and so you can get to look stylish without paying the well-oiled taxman any more than you have to.
