Can't recommend this place enough. I've been to several different PT offices over the course of my life, which is why this time with severe injuries to my hand and now post surgery, I was still looking for a decent place and hadn't returned to any prior offices. Thankfully found FLEXPLUS (now called FYZICAL) on Yelp. From my first phone call to schedule an appt to my last day there, 2+ months of PT 3x a week, I witnessed nothing but absolute professionalism and concern for each patient that walked through the door. Never have I experienced a combination of friendly greetings, perfect administration from the front office to the actual concern and knowledge of care from the Dr's than I have at FLEXPLUS/FYZICAL in Natick. For the one or two posters with negative reviews that suggested they cater mostly to "older" people, that's not accurate at all, I've seen the very old to very young and all ages in between come and go there, and the care that I saw was absolute for each one. And if you're upset that you blew off your own appt's without the courtesy to call, twice, and you were then shown the door, well hell, take some responsibility for yourself in the future and don't act like you're entitled to more respect than the folks that work there. You cost them money and cost another patient that appt spot. Lose the entitlement, your life will be a lot easier. I observed several young children with different types of ailments from sports injuries to complete immobility and they received care from not one, but sometimes two to three Dr's at a time assisting each other and explaining every thing that they were doing to the parents and the child. I would bring my children or my mother here in a heartbeat if they needed care. The office is extremely clean, well organized and run like a Swiss watch. Every other Dr's office I've been to with a set schedule time, leaves you waiting outside for 15-30 mins past your appt time and that's frustrating as hell as our time and busy schedules are just as important to us as any Dr's time is to them. The Dr's in this office never once in two + months failed to appear at the exact time my appt was scheduled for, welcomed me in and went right to work. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this office and I'm grateful for everything they've done to help in my recovery. Though my treatment with them is now over, I will always consider the folks and Dr.'s I met there my friends, and proudly so. I had a musical injury in both of my arms for about two years before I went to FYZICAL. I spent 4.5 months in PT here and will never go anywhere else for PT should I need it again. I've seen a lot of doctors over the course of my life, and the doctors at FYZICAL are the friendliest, funniest, most down-to-earth ones I've ever met. They are quick to assess problems and effective in treating them! I looked for all kinds of alternative treatments to my pseudo-tendonitis, everywhere from Eastern medicine to more traditional strengthening exercises, and got nowhere. After just a few sessions at FYZICAL, I saw improvement in my injury, and now that I've "graduated" as we called it, I am able to live a more normal, pain-free life. Before, I couldn't write; I couldn't cook; I couldn't play my instrument anymore or do any kind of workout that required the use of your hand. Now I can do all of these things and more. They helped give me my life back, and for that I will always be grateful. The only thing that was upsetting to me is how long its taken me to find the time to sit down and write this review! I am some one who has, over the years, gone to physical therapy many times. I always hated it because most places were dedicated to sports injuries or one time after surgery therapy and not so interest in someone who had chronic joint problems. My husband first used them and raved about his treatment. I went when I could no longer move my neck well and was very skeptical about the therapy. This is an incredible group of therapists who care about what they are doing and always keep in mind the patient. They measure in the beginning on what you can do and measure again at the end to be sure you have made progress. While you may have one therapist assigned to you, they seem to have a system that every one can fill in if you don't get your usual therapist, I have seen them treat youngsters with injuries, chronic illness patients like me, rehab for firemen and at the same time, there is an atmosphere of friendship, laughter and good cheer among all who are there. Fyzical Natick. a warm, efficient, effective group of PT professionals. Beginning with first point of contact, their warmth and sincerity are unmatched. The office staff lends great support and respect to clients They wrote the book on bedside manner! I initially went with a bout of Vertigo, and later post-Knee surgery. Most recently brought my 92 year old Mom - with back/gait issues - they worked wonders. I regularly see many kids being treated. They treat all with dignity and sincerity. Whole staff always willing to lend an ear to clients' problems and concerns. You are immediately immersed into the synergy there. A refreshing contrast to other PT establishment. The 'open' floor-plan, becomes more comfortable after 1 or 2 visits- relax and accept the 'we're all in this together' team atmosphere. Dr. Abelow and her team develop effective strategies/programs, understand the needs of clients and display a cooperative and harmonious work area. I just finished my PT with Flex Plus/Fyzical. This was my second time using them. The first was for a ruptured/partially torn patella tendon in my knee. I thought they did a great job. They were very thorough. They asked a lot of questions along the way to make sure they were giving me the exact care they felt I needed when I needed it. They are very knowledgeable and genuinely seem to care. I had a great experience with them so when I tore my bicep tendon, they were my obvious choice. I had a very similar experience this time around. The staff there couldn't be any nicer. Lauren at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming. My Physical therapist, Dr Rachel, I can't say enough about. I must have asked her a thousand questions about what I could and shouldn't do at the gym. Even though I probably drove her crazy with all of my questions, she was very thoughtful in her answers and didn't just spit out "cookie cutter" answers. At the end of the day, I couldn't have asked for more. My arm is feeling worlds better. If a friend or family member needed PT, this is absolutely where I would recommend they go. read more

I recently got referred by my doctor because of my knee condition (chondro Malacia) to physical therapy. The first time I went to a place in Waltham, I learned a few things and it was just okay. Then I went to Fyzical and it was just such a different environment. A lot more people but so much more fun and talkative! They tried all kinds of new things on me like a foot test to see if my feet turn it, a bunch of new exercises that I wouldn´t even have thought of, worked on my core and stim was definitely a benefit. They also took their time and worked on my muscles in the beginning of each session. Not only is it important to know about the body and how to fix certain issues but communication and respect is the key in my book! The front office staff were amazing as well, cannot forget them! They really worked with me with financials because I was struggling with payments. I came to FYZICAL MetroWest Physical Therapy in tough shape. With Meniere's Disease as the cause, I couldn't sit at a table, drive my car, grocery shop, etc. I spent most of the time in my recliner because the vertigo was so bad. Now, after my physical therapy sessions with Dr. Cheryl, I can go to a restaurant and sit at the table to eat a meal. I can drive my car and go shopping. The quality of my life has vastly improved. Through the use of exercises and dietary changes, I now have a much better time dealing with each day. Meniere's Disease can't be cured but you can be given tools and exercises that will help you regain a good quality of life. I strongly recommend Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers for vestibular rehabilitation physical therapy. The staff is highly qualified and caring. They also keep things clean, which is a plus for this germaphobe! Give them a call and they can tell you how they can help you. I did and I am so glad that I did make that call! Flex Plus Physical Therapy is a professional and caring environment with highly skilled and experienced physical therapists and staff. Both my husband and I went to Flex Plus for physical therapy care and they are excellent!!!!!! I can't stress enough how wonderful Cheryl and the entire team are. They really know what they are doing and they have the absolute best bed-side manner. The physical therapists are brilliant, patient, comforting, and helped each of us recover from our injuries (my husband's were very serious), to return to a normal life with our children. The administrative staff also is great at helping you navigate handling things with the physicians and insurance companies. I strongly strongly strongly recommend Flex Plus to anyone who needs physical therapy to recover from injuries. I brought my daughter to FlexPlus for PT while she was recovering from a broken leg. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Scheduling the initial appointment was extremely easy, especially compared to other places I called where we would have had to wait up to 2 months to get in! The desk staff were great to work with all around - from scheduling to billing and beyond. The appointments always started on time and were very thorough. My daughter was not always the most cooperative during the appointments but the doctors were great about finding ways to get her to do the exercises she needed. At discharge, we received a great set of exercises and directions for how to continue at home and were welcome to call with any questions. Thanks to Rachel, Stephanie and Cheryl, my daughter is now back to all of her sports activities and is feeling great. Hopefully we will not need any more PT, but if we do, we will definitely be heading back to FlexPlus! read more

I Had a major lower back surgery this past February. Five weeks after surgery I began PT at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance in Natick. I am glad I did. The entire staff were professional from beginning to the day I completed my PT. After examining me to determine my current physical condition on day one, (not so good) a comprehensive recovery plan began.The plan was designed for me by the DPT. It was modified over the next several weeks as I progressed. The DPT plan included stretching, core strengthening, and exercises. The plan activities were demonstrated by the DPT, I then was observed closely. A printed copy of the plans were provided at each PT session. I was told to follow the plan's learned activities at home daily. I was very pleased with the attentive personal care that I received. I am happy to report that this PT Plan played a huge role in my recovery. I am almost 100%. I can't believe how well I did with the help of FYZICAL'S staff. Thanks guys... read more

This place has truly changed my life - I'm pain free at last !!! For the past few years, I have struggled with shoulder/rotater cuff pain. I thought that I could handle it,and believed the pain would just somehow "go away" if I waited long enough. A few months ago, I came to the realization that this pain couldn't be wished away, and was getting progressively worse. My mom found an an ad for a free shoulder pain seminar, and told me about it. I attended it, and it has made a major difference in my life. Dr. Cheryl and her staff have provided me with a thorough and comprehensive plan to address my pain without surgery. Additionally, they offer Laser Therapy, which worked amazingly well to abate my shoulder pain. The staff is extremely kind and friendly, and the center is lovely, well-equipped and immaculate. From reception to carefully explained exercise "homework", I highly recommend this to all. It is truly a game-changer ! read more

I was diagnosed with TMJ which made it painful and difficult to eat, drink and brush my teeth. I worked with 3 different therapists, both in the Natick facility and remotely. All were very knowledgeable about the condition. From the very first appointment when they explained what was going on, they provided me with a strategy and an exercise plan...all with an attitude that gave me confidence I would be able to correct the disorder. The exercise plan was very reasonable, not long and involved exercises that can be a disincentive to doing them. At the time of my discharge, they provided me with a clear strategy and an ongoing, practical exercise plan to help keep me healthy. Also, during this time of the pandemic, when I came to the Natick facility, I never felt concerned about the sanitary conditions. I came in for vertigo and mid-back pain and was very pleased with my experience. I was able to get in very quickly, which was great, because the vertigo was really making it hard to work at my computer. Dr. Rachel and Dr. John were great at explaining what was going on and how to fix the problem. After I finished with the vertigo (which, for the first time in years, is completely gone!), I decided to continue for my mid-back pain because it was waking me up in the night. Again, I was very pleased. They taught me the exercises and massaged out the knots. I really enjoyed the laser treatment, which gave me complete relief for two days at a time. I understand what other reviewers are saying about their cancellation and no show policies, but they did make it very clear and give other options to avoid fees, so I didn't feel it was unreasonable. read more

Prior to total bi-lateral hip replacement in April 2007, I stopped by to receive some information on what to expect after surgery, such as using crutches on the stairs and getting in/out of a car. The week before surgery without any pain meds would have been awful without the tens unit that I borrowed. As soon as I was able to get to the office, Cheryl did my initial consultation and formulated a plan which included office visits and exercises to do at home in order to get me back to my regular activities. The entire staff is very professional, courteous and helpful from the office staff to the therapists. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All questions were addressed and I always felt like I made progress toward the ultimate goal after each visit. I would never consider going anywhere else for physical therapy. read more

I've been several times for various issues and have had great care. All the therapists are wonderful and knowledgeable. The exercises given were appropriate and modified for my needs. I got truly one-on-one care, which I haven't seen in a medical office in a LONG time! Appointments were booked on the half hour, but I was usually there for 45 minutes or so. The last 15, I was on e-stim reading a magazine, so the first 30 of exercises and massage were all with the therapist. There are only doctors there- no aides! There are also personal trainers, so if you decide you want to continue on an exercise program, you can do that with some help! Everyone was awesome, whether it was a therapist or someone in the office. I will be back in just a few months for my next round on a whole new body part! (I'm clumsy! :-/) read more

The staff at Fyzical is amazing! At each one of my appointments I was greeted with friendly smiles and hellos. All the Physical Therapist knew exactly what I needed to do in order to progress and get back to my running routine quicker. I loved how they worked as a team, for example, Dr John would continue and advance on an exercise that Dr Rachel had showed me the time before. I truly believed this type of treatment and teamwork helped me reach my goals faster. I am also now able to take what they taught me and continue my rehabilitation at home. The open atmosphere in the facility made it fun and energetic. And that Laser machine they have is AMAZING!! I have used FlexPlus for two separate problems, and each time, Cheryl and her staff did miraculous work. The first occasion was in January of 2013. After a head injury, I was left with benign positional vertigo. Basically, my head was spinning almost constantly. I was told At the hospital to find a PT who specialized in this. Cheryl treated me on four occasions. Each time i got immediate relief, and the intervals before the vertigo returned got longer. Finally, it was gone for good. In February 2014 I injured my back and immediately turned to Cheryl. She again did amazing work, and after two visits,I was significantly better , able to drastically reduce pain meds, and returned to most of my normal activities. I am continuing to see her, and am optimistic for a full recovery. read more

I spent 12 weeks post bilateral knee replacement with the therapists at FYZICAL in Natick. I had the good fortune to work with all 3 of the therapists there (they were sharing the wealth....smile) and found each of them to be extremely professional, knowledegable and compassionate in their dealings not only with me, but with other patients under their care. They were very willing to work with me, answer all questions and concerns in a thorough way and had the ability to motivate without speaking "down" to me. I should add that they are also very enjoyable people to be around. In addition, I found the front office staff to be very helpful, accommodating and professional.
