It has been a few years since I visited this doctor, but while I was there I noticed literally ALL the physicians were men, and 80% of them were white. Years later as I need another appointment I checked their website and they are still ALL male doctors and just a handful of women physician assistants. You cannot tell me that is not deliberate when they have 10+ doctors. Appalling. Is it still 1940?? I'll be going somewhere else. Update: The office responded insisting that they follow all EEOC requirements and do not discriminate. As an HR and Recruiting Director, I know exactly how easy is for hiring managers to skew their decisions to hire exactly whom they want regardless of any office policy of antidiscrimination. 10 male doctors and not a single female doctor is almost impossible unless intentional. First time here. When I first got the office, I got an XRay of my foot that was bothering me. I was then seen by Dr. Rose, who after 5 minutes of seeing me, pitched me to have surgery to remove the bone spurs in my heels. I told him that I wanted to try PT first and I did not want to have surgery. He wrote my a note to see a PT and that was it. He spent maybe 8 minutes with me tops. This doctor/practice place charged my insurance $650 for a ten minute visit. My Insurance paid $470 for the visit and then left me to foot the $180 balance. This is why our health care system is broken! read more

dr zannikos crippled me and had me on morphine for 9 months. i kept saying something wrong. he wouldn,t admit what he did wrong until i figured it out and confronted him. then he says "i works for most patients. go to mgh to have it fixed. my entire spine if fusex, twice. he ruined my life. the chief of spinal reconstruction at mgh, who fixed my back, called him a quack. the guy who does the brace fitting sold me a brace way to large started screaming at me when i tried to exchange it. i left in tears and he still has a job as well as zannikos who crippled me. read more

I recently had TLIF surgery on my L4/L5 and although any spine surgery can be tricky I have to say from Dr Zannikos, to PA's Hannah and Brianna are the best. The office staff is friendly and I never waited for any appointment. Dr Zannikos is a caring, skilled surgeon and most important he listens. My pain levels have decreased from a 10 prior to surgery to maybe a 2 a few months later. Fusions do take time to completely heal so you need to be patient but everyday you will improve. read more

They do not care about your time at this place. Every time I have been here, I have waited at least 45 mins past my appt time to see doctor. And then the doctor is in a rush to end the appt. With the exception of Dr. Daren Bergman, I have found the physicians here to be arrogant, self-centered and dismissive--at best. Too many stories to tell. Woke up from my second surgery this year to find the nerve block didn't even carry me through to the recovery area. I was yelling in pain. No pain med available as they do not stock hydrocodone here--only oxycodone, which does not touch pain for me. (I am not alone.) Quickly decided to send me home so I could take the hydrocodone they had prescribed in advance. Also, they billed my insurance company $450 for a cheap, fabric post-op boot available on Amazon for under $70. Because they could. Insurance paid just over $350. They want me to pay the remainder. This place is a joke. Tempted to call out a few doctors by name but will refrain. Do yourself a favor and check out Boston Bone & Joint Institute. Run! I was experiencing some discomfort in my right leg and I was getting it diagnosed with a doctor at another facility. It sucked! That doctor was always late (sometimes more than 1 hour), there were scheduling issues, didn't respond to messages etc. This is when I decided to visit another doctor and came across Dr. Healy at Orthopedics New England, Natick. This is a very professional place. There is always someone at one or more of their check-in windows. Sanitizers all around. Pretty decent waiting area. Well behaved staff. Mostly importantly, they have great doctors. Dr. Healy was awesome with his diagnosis, treatment, surgery, post-surgery, physical therapy directions etc. They do their surgeries at Framingham Union Hospital, Newton Wellesley hospital or their own facility on another floor. This may have changed now but these are the options they had given me. My wife had also visited another doctor here for a mild tendonitis issue and she was very happy with her experience too. No scheduling issues, no communication issues, no long waits, no billing issues, no parking issues. This place is awesome! read more

Before even acknowledging me, he went straight into his admiration of his "textbook" work on the computer. Then gushed about how he even closed the stitches!!! Had the worst experience with this practice. Right from my initial phone call, the staff was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. Unfortunately they are the only orthopedic office in my area that takes my insurance so I had no choice but to continue with them. The doctor I saw was nice enough and seemed competent. He ordered an MRI for my neck. My insurance denied it saying they wanted to see me do 6 weeks of doctor approved and supervised exercise first. I called the office FOUR times about this over several weeks. Each time they said they would do something, ie reach out to the doctor, and not once did they get back to me. I finally emailed the doctor directly on their patient portal asking him to put the order in for physical therapy. They have pt there and they take my insurance. The doctor never responded. It's been almost 2 weeks. So basically I was not able to receive care there at all. read more

Terrible experience, I would give them 0 stars if possible. I saw Dr. Shah for hip pain and after trying PT was convinced to get a cortisone injection to help the inflammation. Dr Finno did the injection and it was such an unprofessional experience. The procedure was not thoroughly explained, no privacy drapping offered and worst I have since found out he put the injection in the WRONG spot (through the bottom of my butt) which was very painful and he likely hit a nerve. Despite several calls over the weeks they insisted this was totally normal and I should wait several more weeks to achieve relief. No empathy, caring or ever acknowledging this was not normal. When I asked for copies of the xrays to show exactly where the shot was put in, they claimed there were none...despite xrays being taken during the procedure. So no proof of what was done other than what was written. I left them and went to the Baptist Hospital who did an injection in the RIGHT spot through the front of the hip. The procedure was 1000% times better. I was thoroughly prepared, proper privacy draping, and caring providers. I could see the xray screen and they showed me everything on the screen and the needle going into the right spot on the hip. All xrays were saved to my records for the future. 24 hours later I feel no pain and already feel a little better....though the prior injection through my butt still hurts 7 weeks later!!! I would never recommend Orthopedics New England for hip issues or any cortisone shots! read more

He took the time to carefully review my X-rays and recommended some off the shelf orthotics (available on Amazon.com) for me to try out. If you are a female over 50 and heavy find another provider. I was treated with scorn by the PA staff who told me my pain level (from a fractured hip) couldn't possibly be a 10 since "that's only for someone who have had a limb amputated" ! I was diagnosed without an exam or X-ray, based on what "heavy, older women usually complain of"! In my case Dr. Healy picked bursitis and gave me a cortisone shot and sent me to PT to keep walking on it but my hip was actually fractured. I was told to contact them right away if the pain got worse and/or changed but when I did that I was blown off for over a week and 2 different ER visits. Those drs. Both refused me an MRI because " I know Dr. Healy personally and he's really good". nice little club they all have there! It was 7 more days of sobbing phone calls to this practice begging for another Dr. to take over my case and was refused before Dr. Healy finally wrote an order for an MRI which showed the fracture which by then had advanced to greater than 50% across the femoral neck. Dr. Healy eventually fixed it with pins instead of a replacement-again-woman+heavy= sub-par treatments-the recovery time from the pins is 6 weeks instead of 3 weeks for a replacement and he knows that. He was good about prescribing unlimited amounts of Oxy for the pain AFTER the surgery. read more

I waited 3 days to post to see if my feelings chnaged on this. I had broken my foot some weeks ago and went to an urgent care. They were great. My foot seemed to be healing ok, but started having severe trouble walking. My ankle seemed frozen. My appointment was for 3. I waited in a room by myself for the doctor until a little after 4. He spent about 5 minutes with me. He's could not have been less interested in me as a patient. I still don't know my diagnosis. I'm guessing from some words he used. And if things don't get better in physical therapy they will do an Xray in 6 to 8 weeks. They couldn't have xrayed it then? They already did one to see if my break had healed. Then he was annoyed when I could not move the ankle. Like I wasn't trying. Usually at a doctor you get a paper explaining what they saw, how you can deal with it and what to do going forward. Nope. Just illegible writing on PT slip. A waste of time and energy. Disgusted. read more

I wouldn't recommend, office does not put the patient first, not patient friendly, always a wait, sometimes up to 50 minutes in the waiting room them another 15-20 in exam room. Never saw a Doctor only PA. The last visit Brought my MA Handycap application and was refused, apparently they do not know their patients too well. Don't waste your copay there are much better Orthropedic offices around the area. In response to Alison's reply, I guess the positive comments offered did not get to the employees of NE Ortho. Since my visit was so late, did not get treatment (by the way I left work early because of the pain) and handicap application was not correctly filled out by NE Ortho your office has caused nothing but pain and suffering. I went to Orthopedics New England with severe pain shooting down my entire arm. It was after an X-Ray ordered by my Primary Care Physician showed nothing and several sessions of Physical Therapy didn't help. Making an appointment was easy and office staff was courteous. They had me submit to another X-Ray and see a PA first. As expected, the X-Ray showed nothing. The PA offered Steroid injection before any thorough check or analysis. I opted to get an MRI instead. I returned to get their evaluation of the MRI. By the second visit I felt their treatment was cursory at best without any advise on follow up care except the steroid injection or Aleve. I would not recommend them to anyone or go back there myself. I expected to be seen by an Orthopedic doctor to at least ease my concern and not by a PA on both visits. I felt like they considered me as just a number and a waste of Dr's time. read more

This clinic is racist and if you don't believe just look at their group picture for the lack of diversity. I went there to just make an appointment and treated like a criminal, while "white" walk-ins were greeted in a friendly manner. Told to call, so I called to make appointment for shoulder doctor, and hand-wrist. The receptionist said she was too busy to do both. Made the appt. for wrist and promised to call back. Thirty days later no call back, when I showed up to see Dr. Sailant he never read all the medical reports sent 20 days in advance. He proceeded to inject cortisone but did not use barrier (gloves) as he touch all over my hands. His injection spot caused blood and he touched band-aid with his ungloved hands and placed over the wound. I was shocked! No one is friendly and as I said real overtones of racism from the woman at door with temperature gauge for Covid to check-out. read more

I have never had to wait more than a few minutes, the staff have always been very friendly and professional and very good about COVID protocols. September 4, 2020 I ruptured my Achilles tendon. I went to the urgent care and was given a list of orthopedic surgeons. The physician on duty recommended orthopedics New England (hopkinton location) and I am so glad she did. It being Labor Day weekend I had to wait until the office opened on Tuesday, September 8. The office staff was extremely polite, friendly and courteous. Dr. Bergman ended up being my surgeon. He has a fantastic personality and his level of care and concern was A breath of fresh air. I had surgery on September 16, 2020 with zero complications and I was out of my boot by the beginning of November. If you need a great foot doctor, go see Dr. Bergman, you won't be disappointed! read more

I have had excellent experiences with Doctors Osuch over the last few months - starting with some shoulder and neck issues. It is a busy place but runs more efficiently than any doctors office I have ever been to. I have arrived rather early a couple of times, and in both cases was taken ahead of schedule - that was a first. Both doctors are thorough and spend the time to listen to what you have to say. Dr. Osuch is seriously amazing! I was having awful knee problems for years and then I tore my meniscus. It was to the point where I couldn't walk on my right knee. My doctor wouldn't do anything but give me cortisone after cortisone after cortisone. I was referred to get a second opinion with Dr. Osuch and it was the best decision I made. I saw him for a consultation and 3 weeks later had surgery. I could walk without pain again! He saved me, because I never thought I wouldn't be in pain again. He is very thorough, takes his time answering questions and is very patient. I am terrified of surgery and he was very calming when he came into see me before I went under. I can't say enough good things about him! My 11 year old saw Dr.Saillant at New England Orthopedics for an arm fracture. He was also great! He was very good with her as she was extremely nervous about what was going to happen. He took his time to explain about her arm and answered all our questions. He made her laugh, feel comfortable and less scared. We have been very happy with both doctors out of New England Orthopedics. read more

I had a full knee replacement in January 2019. After working thru the rehab, I can fully say that I'm back to normal. I would not recommend going through this office, I was referred to them by urgent care. I have been in the phone with them on 5 different occasions and all were unpleasant. Each woman I spoke to was rude and even a little abrasive. After being told they would call me back on three of those phone calls I still have yet to hear from them without me calling them first. I have been hobbling around for over a month now and It's unacceptable for a potential patient to have to go through this just to make an appointment. Still haven't heard back from them and I was told I would hear from them within the day on Monday. Mixed review. The doctors here are excellent. However consistently waiting 45-60 minutes or more after check in and X-rays is ridiculous. No apology or explanation to why the doctor is so inexcusably late. In addition, while waiting on hold for 15 minutes to make the appointment I was connected and hung up on. Twice.
