Our experience with FlightNetwork was a complete disaster. We were never notified of our flight change until we checked into the airport. As a result, we were going to miss a connecting flight. We were on the phone with them for 9 hours and were on hour long holds, hanging up "by accident", and constant false promises. We were told the people we were dealing with were out of the Canadian office, but because of the horrible customer service we were experiencing we finally asked what the weather was outside. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!! I bought a ticket on the Flight Network site. They are such scammers. They are a Canadian-based company but they've programmed it so their site defaults to the US version (although they can tell by your IP address you are in Canada). This is only to trick you in thinking you are buying a ticket in CAD, while it's actually USD. Then they send you a confirmation where they tell you how much you were charged on your credit card (still quoting the US amount without indicating USD next to it), they put a whole bunch of ads for hotel and other things and on the very very bottom in fine print they put "the amount paid is in USD which is equivalent to ....CAD". I only realized after seeing the charge on the credit card statement. I contacted them and was told to send an email. They were unhelpful and rude saying it "clearly" says it's USD on your confirmation email. I wrote back explaining clear would be to add USD next to the amount quoted not to advise your customer in fine print on the bottom of an email where you'd advertised about hotels before informing the ticket buyer of the currency. The CSR argued back that my IP address was a US one which makes no sense when I've given them my address and was sitting at home in BC purchasing the ticket. Well, I have never been in such a pinch in my life. Less than 12 hours before we were due to leave.. the rug pulled out from under our feet. The flights we had booked to get to Vegas are cancelled and we are left to our own devices to find a way there. Much debate and a lot of internet searches later.. we find a "cheap" $1600 package that will see us get to Las Vegas.. but as a 'punishment' for going there, the flight path will take us to San Francisco before heading back to Newark and then home. That's fine and the site was relatively seemless in it's booking process.. the reason I took away two stars.. They booked us stand-by on a flight Denver to Vegas. Flight Network good rates on their tickets from Calgary to India (Bengaluru) - but not too off from other sites. But, to my worst luck - I went ahead with flight network as the wikipedia says it is the second largest booking network in Canada. I paid and got a confirmation - was supposed to wait for eticket to arrive in my email but I checked my booking # on air canada booking status and it was booked so I didn't bother much. The next day I get an email saying the pricing I paid for was invalid and the ticket couldn't be purchased so I had to call back to book. I called back to book - 45 mins process - I didn't make any fuss, the price was $90 extra than what I paid the day before, but I went ahead anyway as the rep told me he gets live rates and he'll book it for real this time. I got a confirmation email didn't realise I had to wait for eticket (again!) as the rep assured its booked now. OK now 9 days later - I get another call from FlightNetwork saying they messed up again and they'll reprice and rebook for me again or refund. 9 days later! And I lost trust in them - they were pricing it around the same amount but I asked for a refund and booked my trip with BudgetAir for $350 extra since its now 9 days later. I can't express how disappointed I'm with service of FlightNetwork. I paid for all the baggage and travel insurance, etc through FlightNetwork but no point in going after them - but what good is it when my trip ends up costing me $440 extra after 10 days and a bunch of unnecessary stress. I wouldn't have posted this review if it was only once, but it happened to me twice for the same trip and they had the nerve to offer me to book for a third time! FlightNetwork should just quit the business when it can't process tickets at a normal pace. BudgetAir sent me eticket in less than 3 mins - and the same experience every other time I booked with different third party / airlines. Flight Network is the first and second time this happened with a flight booking in my entire life...I travel quite a bit - I take at least 10 flights a year for personal, and a lot for work (I don't have to book for work flights). If there was a zero star, I would gladly give this travel agency one. Folks, don't book through any travel agency. They will not help you if something goes wrong. All they care about is MONEY, nothing else. We were on our way to Nairobi Kenya to visit family from my wife's side. We live in AZ. You can imagine that it would be a long flight. I called this travel agency ( FlightNetwork) and inquired about booking with them since my previous flight was canceled. I told the agent that I am a little bit skeptical because of the reviews and some terrible stories people share on so many platforms. . I called around 12:25AM on 01/17/2023. The agent reassured me that "there is nothing for me to worry about as long as I cancel within 16 hours". My worst nightmare came to pass once I booked to Qatar airline. I stayed at a hotel the night before. So, I used their shuttle service to take me to the airport. I got there with my wife and my 2 year old daughter, getting ready to check my luggage. Then, a Qatar airline employee notified that my 2 year old needs a Kenyan Visa even though we were told that a Visa would be issue to her at port of entry in Nairobi Kenya airport. My wife is from Kenya and she knows that Visas are issued at point of entry. The airline would not let me check my luggage and board. I was then given a piece of paper with some number to call. I called the airline customer and I called the travel agent more 12 times while I remained at LAX and hope at least that I would find someone to help me book another flight. We tried to talk to even the employees for Qatar airline but they told me there was nothing they could do. We then contacted the Kenya embassy and sorted through the visa situation for my 2 year old. When I realized that nobody from the airline or the travel agency was willing to help me, I decided to head back home to AZ BY GETTING RENTAL CAR. Of course, the travel agency already processed payment. I wish I did not listen to this lying travel agent. I will never anything from any travel agency. I think I experienced the same nightmare as most ALL of their customers! I saw the amazing prices and of course got excited about it. I booked a flight for 2 passengers. Few hours later I receive a call from my credit card company reporting the appearance of fraudulent use of my credit card. Because of the numerous (at least 5) different transactions made from different locations that Flight Network made on my card, my whole card shut down! I went through the timely process of making calls to my bank and waiting on the line with Flight Network. ( I found that the only way you can get around waiting on line forever is if you have a party extension). Flight Network claimed that it was the credit card company's fault and that they would have to make a "new charge" which was "only $20 more than what I originally payed for!" After adding up numerous transactions on my credit card, I found that Flight Network had ended up charging me a good $60 more than what I originally agreed to pay. I know it's not a HUGE difference in cost but seriously- it still horrifies me the fact that they trick you into paying more than what you agreed to! Its deceitful, dishonest, and stressful on the customer's part. I have my flight itinerary but literally every day I am on edge because I just don't trust this company. I have called both original airlines to confirm my flight and everything SEEMS to be in order, but I will NEVER use FlightNetwork again. It's just NOT worth everything you have to go through! I know I am not the only one either; after reading all of these posts, I can't believe how many customers are not only dissatisfied but angry with Flight Network's service. DO NOT BOOK WITH FLIGHT NETWORK. There have been two separate occasions when I have tried to book flights and both have been terrible. The first I tried to book online. They could not process my payment so I has to call and it ended up being a bait and switch situation (an $800 flight to a $3000 flight? Get f****d). There was 'no manager on duty' and I could hear laughter, loud music, and what sounded like clinking classes in the background. I had to argue for two and a half hours before I finally gave up and cancelled. I should have learned. The second time I tried to book online for a different trip. They sent a confirmation email and then a few hours later sent another email saying the flights could not be processed "due to schedule change occurs on your return flight due to which the minimum connection time needed on the return flight between segment 03 and segment 04 is not getting met" (exact quote). What does that even mean? Since when does there need to be a minimum connection time? 2 hours isn't long enough? Anyway, avoid them like the plague. We booked 4 flights to Spain + travel insurance for our family to travel in July 2020, of course COVID arrived and we couldn't travel. We talked to FlightNetwork in May 2020, and they would not refund our money. They said we could try getting our money back from British Airways. When I called British Airways to ask for a refund from them they said they had a reservation for our family, but not ticketed seats and had not received any money from FlightNetwork for our flights, and therefore couldn't refund us anything. I called FlightNetwork back to tell them what BA said. They then gave us a 2-year credit for the amount of the 4 flights. I called customer service today, Feb. 28, 2021 to find out if we could get our credit extended another 6 months since right now Americans are not even allowed to travel to Spain. I waited for 4 hours 33 minutes and 1 second on hold before I had to hang up. I never got through. This place is a scam. Don't trust them or book through them. My first name were appended with my Middle Name, no space in between while my passport has no middle name. July 11, send an email as they have advice me to email a copy of my passport and eticket to customer care service. Aug 6, I finally received an email from a customer service rep, offering me a $100 name correction fee which I have no option but to agree because my airfare is about CAD 1300.00. First booking and the last one ever! I booked flight tickets through the FlightNetwork for my family member recently and accidentally misspelled one letter in the last name. As soon as I got a conformational letter, I noticed a misspelling I logged into my account, there is a profile page that says "Edit Info", but when you click on it all fields are faded and there is no way to change it. So, I called their service number. It was 20 minutes after booking. First of all, there is an automated answering machine, that gives you 3 options: 1) Make a new booking; 2) Change an existing booking; 3) Other not related options. I selected to change my booking, it gives you next options: 1) To book an insurance; 2) To pay for your bags and seats; 3) For vacations; 4) For hotels; and no option to speak to a representative. I called the second time and chose to book a new trip, because it was the only option to speak to a representative. I explained to a person what happened and was told I will get a call back. I received a call back within another 10 minutes. I was told that I should pay $150 US in order to make a change in the name or in order to cancel the whole booking. I told that there was no statement about $150 change fee when I was booking the tickets, the guy asked me where did I see a statement "No change fee"? He said they that have it on their Policy page. I asked them If I can call to the airline directly in order to change it without any fees and I was told that I cannot do that. I was very mad because of the customer service and told them if they are not willing to do it without a fee, I would call to my credit company to cancel the transaction instead. 2 minutes after, I am receiving a call from the person I spoke to and he tells me that they can do an exception for me and charge only $86 for the name change. I asked to explain what are they charging me for. I was told, the ticket price went up $11 and I have to pay $75 for a change. At that point I was very disappointed and told them to cancel my booking instead. I would rather not to process with the company that treats their customers like that. I was charged $75 cancellation fees. I then went to the actual Airlines website and booked the same tickets for only $4 more! After all this stress, I read my conformational email and found a statement about the change fee that actually says 100 CAD, not $150 US. Obviously, there was no notice when I was booking it. Also, I Googled to find if there any laws for that. Here is what I found: "According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, you can cancel a non-refundable ticket and receive a full refund of any airfare, without cancellation fees or penalties, as long as you booked your ticket seven days ahead of your flight and you do so within 24 hours of booking." And a funny thing is when you go to FlightNetwork website to the reviews page, all reviews shown are 5* only. When you Google "FlightNetwork reviews" and go through customer reviews on other website, like Yelp and TripAdvisor, all actual reviews are awful. It was a lesson for me to make a good research before you book soothing from a provider you have never used before. So, my advice is by your tickets somewhere else. had very disappointing experience. Booked flights to Australia for myself and my husband and was given option to choose free cancellation fro like 20HKD. The total amount to be paid was never shown clearly so i simply booked the tickets. After the booking received a confirmation that i have paid for flights tickets and like 1000 HKD for cancellation! contacted customer service and apparently 20 HKD price is per passenger per day, which they do state but in small letters on the bottom of the page. Feel this was such an excellent sneak of overcharges into the final bill without disclosing it, and feel so stupid for taking FlightNetwork as a trustworthy service provider. Any decent company would simply refund you for services you did not intend to book- so this is just a note proof that FlightNetwork is trying to sneak overcharges on you and then no refund can be requested. I recently moved from Toronto,ON to Regina, SK Canada and started flying more frequently between Canadian cities. I searched quite frequently for cheap flights and found Flight Network to be competitive. What sold me was their Price Protection Plan. Though I haven't used it, it gave me piece of mind that I was getting the best deal if the price dropped. Since my first flight, I've booked 3 flights through Flight Network and had no issues at all. This website does not even deserve one star. We had booked a ticket for my dad to go to Sri Lanka 2 months in advance with the layover being in Jeddah. The flight was scheduled to leave on a Saturday morning. The day before the flight (Friday at 5:00pm) I get a call from flight network letting me know that my dad needs to get a visa for his stay in Jeddah. I told him that he will not be leaving the airport or country, but the sales man said that he still needs to get a visa. I questioned his as to why we weren't notified two months ago when we booked the flight. I also told the guy that its 5pm on a Friday and everything is going to be closed. When I asked him what else we can do, he said that we have to cancel the flight and book another one. He said that we have to pay an extra $300.00 to cancel the flight. Honestly, I think they might have over booked the flight and needed more space because when I researched it, you did not need a transit visa for Jeddah. My family was very disappointed with this service, as my dad was going back to Sri Lanka after 15 years, and had a difficult time getting days off from work as well. In the end we cancelled the ticket from flight network and decided to buy a ticket through Whitehorse Travels for a flight leaving on Saturday afternoon. I originally purchased my tickets with Flight Network because they had really low prices on their tickets, however my experience trying to contact them for a refund has been a nightmare. I purchased Trip Cancellation Protection, and decided to cancel my flight. My flight had not been cancelled by the airline yet so by the rules I could still cancel for any reason. I sent an email asking to speak to a real human being, and they called me once at a really inconvenient moment when I couldn't pick up. That was the last time they attempted to call me. I've spent hours on hold and I sent email after email asking to speak to a real human being about my cancellation, and they either took a long time to either forward my email to someone else, send short worded and insufficient emails back, or just ignored me. I'm still trying to get a hold of someone from this company to discuss getting a refund for the flights that I would like to cancel. Seriously a nightmare. Stay away from these guys. read more

This is the worst online bucket shop travel agency I've ever used. Absolute worst customer service. I put my dates in for a flight and purchased four tickets, but when I got the email confirmation, it was for the previous day, not the date I put in the system. I called FlightNetwork IMMEDIATELY and told them that I had press "purchase" less than three minutes earlier and needed them to reverse the charge or fix the date for the date I wanted. I said I would pay any fare difference, but expected not to pay any penalty to the airline or to the agency, since it was just purchased in error. After very very long hold times with two agents, they refused to cancel or refund and said it would cost $154 to the airline and $45 per passenger to the agency if I wanted to make any change or cancellation. I told them that was illegal - that you can cancel any flight without penalty within 24 hours. They denied this even though i was correct. They are criminals and thieves, don't ever use them. read more

I am going to keep it to the facts. I had never used flight network.com. As others staid it came up on kayak so thought it was ok. Booked an Air NZ flight LA to Brisbane transiting in Auckland. 4 hr transit currently fine in covid world.. Air NZ changed their schedule and now its a 28hr layover transit which is not allowed by the NZ govt. So air NZ said to contact Flight network and they just need to reroute via sydney or go two days earlier- simple right?? NOPE after 8 calls to flight network and being sent from person to person who had absolutely no idea what was going on and constantly said that they had no access to my flight and then would send me to someone who does and repeat over and over.... After three customer service emails and all those hours on the phone still nothing - not even a negative response..... Will NEVER use or RECOMMEND THEM again and they are breaking agreements with the airlines apparently by not correcting this due to an airline schedule change.. read more

This company will use every opportunity to RIP YOU OFF. (+ terrible customer service) First, when you book a flight, they automatically charge you a CAD150 insurance without any notice or permission. You will only notice that fee on the itinerary after you have paid for it. You have to go through a 30-40 min phone call to reverse that fee. Second, I had to change the date of my flight due to emergency. They will charge me 200 for cancelling the flight and 350 for changing the flight. And to book the new flight, they will not use the price that they show on the website, but they will use their own system price which is 500 higher than the market price. It is their strategy to get money out of customers. All in all I have to pay 1600 extra just to change the date of my flight. Since I was buying it for my mother, they sent an email asking for proofs that the owner of the credit card was aware of the purchase. I replied two hours later with all the information requested, 24 hours later they cancelled the ticket anyway because they "didn't received" anything from me. I spoke to customer service, very rude people, overseas, and after several call and contradictory information, they told me that in order to get the refund I needed to send an email stating that I was not going to dispute the charge with the credit card company... I sent an email saying that if get the refund I will not dispute the charge.... they reply saying that they where going to do the full refund however I need to wait between 10 to 15 business days... Will never deal with this company again! My wife and I booked a flight to Hawaii and after a few days the price of the flight dropped. We were happy that we had "Price Drop Protection" as offered by Flight Network. We each received $124.00 into our account.. We have been trying to use these funds for Flights, Hotels, Vacations, etc. So far no luck. "Price Drop Protection" appears to be a scam and is used to entice people to book with Flight Network. . We have tried to talk to them but so far we have been given the run around. It is nice to have the money in our account, but it would be nicer if there was a way to access it and spend it on one of Flight Networks offerings. Buyer Beware! read more
