Tulip Days at Flinchbaugh's Orchard had been popping up all over my social media feed, and with 200,000 tulips in bloom, I knew I had to make it happen. My spring adventure schedule was packed, so I didn't make it out until the very last day--but I was determined to catch those blooms before they were gone! I purchased my ticket ahead of time through their website, which was quick, easy, and made me feel totally prepared for my first visit. My adventure buddy and I selected the 12:30pm time slot, and when we arrived right on time, there were a lot of cars--but everything was so well organized that parking was a breeze. It was clearly marked, easy to navigate, and because guests were arriving in staggered time slots, it never felt overwhelming. Before heading out to the fields, we popped into the farm market--and WOW! Super cute, surprisingly large, and packed with everything from baked goods to houseplants and gifts. Prices were reasonable, and it was definitely worth taking a few minutes to browse. Check-in for the tulip field was just as smooth. We walked up to the check-in hut, had our QR codes scanned, grabbed our wristbands, and were on our way within maybe two minutes. For 12:30pm on the final day of the event, I was honestly expecting a line--major kudos to Flinchbaugh's for keeping things moving so efficiently. And then... the tulip field. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Now, it was the last day, and you could tell in the front sections where tulip cutting had been allowed--some blooms were missing, some areas looked a little trampled, and things were definitely a bit worn. But here's where Flinchbaugh's really impressed me: they had clearly marked sections further back as "PHOTOS ONLY - NO CUTTING," and those areas were stunning. Full, vibrant, untouched rows of tulips that made for incredible photos and a much more immersive experience. We spent about an hour wandering through the fields, taking photos, and enjoying all the thoughtfully placed photo prop stations. Another huge win--those props were spaced out perfectly. No long lines, no crowding, no awkward waiting around. You could just move from one spot to the next and actually enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or packed in. I've visited a few flower fields over the past year, and this was by far the most organized and least chaotic. Everything--from parking to check-in to field flow--felt intentional and well thought out. I'm personally more of a "leave the flowers where they grow" kind of person, so I loved being able to simply walk, admire, and take it all in. For me, this was the perfect way to kick off my 2026 flower field adventures--and it set the bar high! At $10 for admission, this was an incredibly reasonable way to spend a few hours soaking up sunshine, enjoying beautiful blooms, and making a little springtime magic on a Saturday afternoon. I'll absolutely be back next year--just maybe a little earlier in the season to catch even more of those blooms at their peak! read more

I was advertised by the marketing team that tulip picking was occurring till 5 PM. I drove an hour and a half and when I arrived there I was told that tulip picking ended two hours prior, AND after we drove we decided to look around the market for some food because it was a long drive and we found one single cookie for a dollar fifty and we thought WOW! that it cheap, maybe this place isn't that bad after all. When we arrived to the register, they said it was priced wrong!, it was FIVE DOLLARS! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!! THE COOKIE WAS MAD RAW! my girlfriend HAD A BITE of the cookie and she is feeling AWFUL this morning BECAUSE of the COOKIE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! read more

We went to the peach festival last August and it was fantastic. We were able to pick tons of peaches and the cream cheese was delicious. The sunflowers were also beautiful. Lots of food trucks during the festival. read more

Came here with my daughter and grands for a fall festival. My daughter really wanted to come because she heard good things. Upon arrival we were instructed to park in the grass. We saw a few stations set up to amuse or entertain the kids but each one was priced rather high (upwards of $3 pp) for activities that are typically free elsewhere. Even a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch cost you! They had a live singer playing country music, but no real entertainment. The kids activities (bubbles, a hay maize, face painting) were geared towards toddler aged children. The face painting was $10 + for simple, amatuer designs! We ended up walking to the pumpkin patch, but most of the pumpkins in the field were rotted or busted. This was early/mid Oct and still early in the session so I was surprised. Prices were high for a pick your own pumpkin. Inside they have a farmers type market with some fresh produce, and commercially prepared products. I was honestly surprised there wasn't more farm to table variety, as most of the items were no different than the grocery store and obviously not from/or prepared from their "farm". On the plus side they had a pretty fall photo opp display set up, which for us was the highlight of our venture here. Overall it was a cute event for a toddler, to kill an hour, but during that hour expect to drop some cash for stuff you can do for free elsewhere. read more

This is a gem of a farm market. They have a really nice variety of things. I'd say average pricing for this type of establishment, but these folks do nice things for their community and I love supporting local businesses. The staff is friendly and the store is bright, clean and nicely laid out. From seasonal fresh fruits and veggies, to canned goods, to on site freshly made baked goods and so much more! They have slushie machines with seasonal offerings (the apple cider slushie was DELICIOUS). For the coffee lover, they carry a variety of Gerhart coffee out of Lancaster (yum). Their porch area offers a variety of metal garden decor pieces as well as hanging baskets and flowers. There are several vendor type events throughout the spring/summer/fall months. Went here for a cute little Spring pop up event. Have never been here before previously. My dad and I both had fun at this event. It had over 60 vendors, food trucks and some free wine tasting. The store was nice and had some unique items. Lots of kids friendly activity. read more

I came here twice during the fall festival. The first time I did the hayride. It's a tour of the farm and gives you up close views of the many crops growing such including apple trees, pumpkins, sunflowers, and corn. It's a great way to see a farm up close. The second time I did the corn maze. Was I pleasantly surprised. It's much more challenging than I expected as you don't have a map or lookout to help you. There's also a puzzle involving facts about farming. Be sure to know your facts about farming as they don't give answers in the maize. The market had a lot of items that looked great and were fairly priced but I didn't buy anything. read more

Loved the atmosphere! We stopped there for the first time today because of their Free Slushy post on Facebook for anyone with the name Michele (my name ). Slushy was AMAZING (Fresh Peach). We also loved sitting outside - they have amazing gardens off of their patio and parking lot. I have never seen that many butterflies, absolutely beautiful. We will be going back, and cannot wait to participate in upcoming activities! read more

Flinchbaughs is a family run farm store. They offer raspberries and blueberries in the summer. In August, there are quality peaches of many varieties. I stopped to buy tomatoes more than once because a certain new family puppy ate all the tomatoes off our plants. In the fall, the farm store features many kinds of apples as well as fresh apple cider and pumpkins. They had a colossal corn maze for fall of 2018. The farm store sells fresh pies, cookies, jam, and apple butter. If you appreciate locally grown food, this store has some quality produce and fruit available. read more

Fun place with lots of kid friendly activities. The produce were a bit expensive, but of great quality!

I came here for their Fall Festival. This is a great place to bring kids. They had so many fun activities that kids could do for free, like a haystack jungle gym, pumpkin golf, pumpkin bowling, a haystack Minion, and sandboxes full of corn kernels to play. There were other activities that weren't free but were just as fun, like face painting, pumpkin painting ($5), hayrides ($2), and pick your own apples (price depends on the size of your bag). The Farm is huge and has a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and valleys. I didn't buy anything from their store because it was crowded due to the Fall Festival. I wouldn't mind going back to check out their selection. read more

Great fruit market. The peaches were fantastic this year. Their produce is always fresh and high quality. Their baked goods aren't very good. Whoopie pies filling was hard and crystallized. Cake was tasteless and stale. Go for the fruit and produce!. read more

A little bit out of the way but overall a nice fruit and country store. Some of the fruit in the baskets had brown spots and was damaged. As if they didn't rotate stock quickly enough. The fruit we did pick out "peaches" were very good. Kind of disappointed in the whoopie pies we got though. They cake parts were stale and the filling seemed as if it had crystallized. read more

Passing thru town & found Fabulous selection of produce, baked goods, jams, salsa, pickles, salad dressing. Definitely worth going out of the way to stop. Peaches picked up yesterday are off the charts tasty! Tomato was delish too. Staff was helpful & friendly. Delightful place to take a friend or the kidos for fresh air & tasty treats. Fantastic farm market! They try to do local produce ( which is a little hard in the early season but will be much more selection in the weeks to come) with a lot of other local products such as bread from Big Sky Bakery, milk from Perrydell, eggs from their family, York county cheeses and a few local meats from Nells of east Berlin and a grass fed beef seller from York. They also have some gifts and cards, and a few dry goods. This place is a lot like browns but smaller size, prices are a little better and more convenient location for people on this side of town!! read more

Overall, a really nice farmer's market. Friendly people. Love the apple wood for smoking and for the fireplace. Great fall fun as well with activities for the kids. However, I bought some bread there and it was stale. We got some pastries and they were also stale. I purchased some apples, and they were a little past their prime. I bought some honey that was "crystallized", and they said it would be fine heated up (it was, but it wasn't the same). And, over the past few years, it seems like the prices have gone up a little. But, when they do have good produce, it's really good - and they place is always fun. read more

Since I have found this market, I have been at least once a week to replenish my supply. The pepperoni and tomato basil cheeses are amazing. The wheat rolls are a must for burgers. I'm especially excited about the new grass fed beef they started carrying. It tastes so much better than grain fed and I don't anticipate going back to store bought meat anytime soon! read more
