They do not answer the phone. They disrespect you by putting you on hold and wait for you to just hang up. They do not seem to be very intelligent either, unfortunately. As of right now, we are at risk of having to shut down business and lose revenue, as well as employees being out of work, BECAUSE they are so horrible and refuse to and/or cannot do their jobs. We purchased a business and just need to transfer the service to our name before it is shut off. We have everything required by law but they can't figure out anything but how to twirl their hair. Absolutely terrible customer service. They never answer the phone, online chat does not work, and they do not actually reply to email inquiries for the email address they have listed. We are not moving into the area for about a month, so starting service must be done online, as going to a physical location is simply not possible. I would prepare for this marathon if you find yourself outside the area and cannot go in person to a location. Honestly, I am not confident that in-person/physical location service would be any better if all three online means were this bad. read more

I reside in Warner Robins Georgia the electric company here is Flint Energy. It is the only electric company that supplies this area Flint Energy is a co-op they do not actually supply the electric they resale it. Any rate if you live in this area and you want or need electricity you must go through them, well the corrupt part of this is to get the electricity from Flint Energy you HAVE to pay a membership and pay to become a member! There are no options and you can not choose to be a customer and not a member! They charge to be a member, my kw are more than they were in Florida and I have not been invited to a members meeting or gathering there are no tangible nor intangible benefits to being a member just paying a membership fee! Is anyone else in an area that does this? Does this sound legal? I am moving but I think I will challenge this. I have stated many times I do NOT want to be a member just a customer but yet I am forced to be a member and pay membership fees as well as high KW cost. I am pissed.
