I have lived at Flintlake for 2 years with my Husband . I love everything about it here ! We have the best complex in Myrtle Beach by far!!!!! Some beautiful swimming pools beautiful for walking or jogging.Awesome neighbors all around. Beautiful views from every apartment. We moved in when there were different owners which were very good. However I have to top my Hat off to the new office team at Flintlake !!! Kelly the manager has been very good picking up all of the pieces from the previous office staff. And she has an absolutely wonderful staff I call the dynamic duo Rachelle and Derek!!! I can't stress enough how wonderful they are . It is a pleasure to go in to the office now . One couldn't be Nicer than the other ;) I moved my mother down here after my father passed away and Rachelle was absolutely wonderful with helping my mom transition . And I have to give a Huge Kudos to My buddy over there Derek . My husband and I wanted to transfer to an upgraded apartment with a Golf course view and he was so patient and efficient with helping us with the process . He has a wonderful disposition and the manager Kelly has made it possible for our transition to go so smoothly !! These 3 are the best and I acually look forward to going in there and deal with People who truly care. I feel after 2 years I really needed to write a review from myself and my husband who could not be happier to be apart of the Flintlake Family! I also have to add that the Maintenance Staff is top of the Line !! Dan and Daniel could not be any nicer and so efficient with any maintance issue they are key members to how this place functions so Well!! TRUST ME. I would not recommend living here. My car was stolen two nights ago right outside my apartment, which shows how unsafe this community really is. There are no visible security measures in place no cameras, no patrols, nothing to make residents feel protected. For what we pay in rent, safety should be a priority, but clearly it is not. MANY residents have spoken up after my experience and told me the same thing happened to them I have the screenshots below. If you're considering moving here, be aware that your vehicle and personal safety are at risk. There was also a recent arson issue that was swept under the rug. Management needs to step up with real security solutions before this place can be considered a safe home. They didn't even reach back out to me about my vehicle OR send out a mass email like other apartment complexes that warn their residents about things like this. Update to below managements response : Thank you for your reply, but I want to clarify my experience. There were no visible security measures in place at the time of my incident no cameras in my section of the community, no patrols, and no communication from management after ANY car was stolen or broken into not just mine. Saying "events are rare" doesn't help when it happened directly to me, and many other residents ( which I will attach receipts) nor does it address the fact that other serious issues (like the recent arson) were also minimized and not communicated with those who LIVE in the Community. What I would have expected is transparency, accountability, and communication. A community that prioritizes safety should notify all residents of thefts, provide updates, and take proactive steps rather than downplaying concerns. I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Flintlake Apartments, primarily due to their irresponsible and negligent pet policies. While I understand the appeal of allowing pets, Flintlake Apartments' decision to permit two dogs per unit, each weighing up to 100 pounds, has created a significant safety and noise issue for residents. The sheer size of these dogs is a major concern. A 100-pound dog is larger than most children, and their presence poses a potential danger, especially for families with young kids. I have witnessed numerous instances where these large dogs are left unchecked, creating an unsafe environment. The noise levels are another major issue. The sound of these large dogs running and playing upstairs is comparable to the noise generated by unruly children. The constant thumping and barking make it impossible to enjoy any peace and quiet in my apartment. It is incredibly disrespectful to those of us living downstairs, as it disrupts our daily lives and rest. Moreover, Flintlake Apartments fails to enforce local South Carolina and Horry County laws regarding leash regulations. I have multiple videos showing dogs running around the property unleashed, which is not only against the law but also highly inconsiderate to other residents. On several occasions, these dogs have ventured onto my patio, invading my personal space, and causing distress and harm. (I have video evidence of intrusion of space and personal harm). To the management: Do not show cowardice and laziness by hiding behind the usual response., " You can contact the Customer Cares Line at (877) 385-1878 or email CustomerService@druckerandfalk.com." Instead, be proactive and address my concerns directly. As onsite management, you are expected to do your job and ensure these issues are resolved promptly. Do not pass your problems on to someone else. The management's lack of enforcement and oversight on these issues is unacceptable. It is evident that Flintlake Apartments prioritizes accommodating pet owners over the comfort and safety of all residents. This lack of balance and disregard for the rules makes living here a constant struggle. In conclusion, if you are looking for a peaceful, respectful living environment, I would advise avoiding Flintlake Apartments. The persistent noise, safety concerns, and management's failure to uphold basic regulations make this place far from ideal. While apartment complexes may not automatically be liable for every incident involving an unleashed dog, failure to enforce leash laws can certainly expose them to legal risks, especially if it leads to injury, property damage, or a significant nuisance to residents. Residents have several avenues to address such issues, including documentation, formal complaints, and legal action if necessary. read more

Run and run fast - don't believe the hype! Things are not always what they seem. I no longer live here thank God - the beginning of our residency at Flintlake was wonderful - great staff - very helpful and caring. And then the management company changed and it came with a whole new staff. Not very helpful at all (although they pretend they are) with no compassion whatsoever as they increased our rent quite substantially out of the blue with NO notice at all. Moreover, right before we were able to escape that place several neighbors had moved out due to these changes and even more have left after us. There is a reason they have a large amount of availability right now. Do your research - there are way better and less expensive places to rent in the area don't let this place fool you! read more

Moved to Myrtle Beach 7 months ago, found Flintlake Apartments online and was able to get a 1-bedroom, fully furnished (for an additional $110/month) plus a 1-car garage (for an additional $70/month) and a 6-month lease instead of a year lease which is what everyone down here is looking for. A bit higher rate but works for me. A couple of swimming pools here, gym and a golf course runs through the property. Another great feature is package delivery. Anything you order online will be delivered to the main office and you receive an email/text your package is ready for pickup. My favorite leasing agent, Kiersten Baker, was always there to help out with any requests I might have. I would definitely recommend this complex for housing. read more

Management has entered our apartment without notice, and blamed us for a building wide any problem that has been ongoing since we moved in. Another resident slashed our tires and keyed our car. When we expressed concern regarding his escalating harassment, management 'hoped everyone would be adult about it.' I was afraid to take my kids to the pool, or out the front door, they couldn't have cared less. They did nothing. They are sluggish to respond to maintenance requests, when they do at all. Our downstairs neighbors have had multiple episodes of flooding, always at night and 'there's nothing we can do at this hour' is what they are told. The management team the previous reviewer raved about is gone. When approached about concerns, Brittany Clark, the manager, is quick to blame the residents and never apologizes. Instead, she is dismissive, condescending, and tries to make you feel bad for having a problem. ONLY RENT HERE AS A LAST RESORT. read more

Flintlake Apartments in Myrtle Beach SC has become a ghetto complex. At 8am I have neighbor working on a car , banging and slamming. Another neighbor is having his daily coughing fit (smoke another cigarette). The showers are terrible, very little water comes out. I bought a new shower head but they won't let me put it on. Parking spaces are so small can't open my car doors, only one space allowed. The breakfast bar and cookies with their coffee has not been available for about a year. No amenities that I can use!!! The vacuum/air never works but it will take your money. Can't open my bedroom window due to the stench from dog poop and wet dogs. Disgusting. And I often smell the dumpster and I am not that close. It's a compactor so it is not emptied often. AND I pay for everyone's water in the building. That's right! I am only one person but have to pay for all others that have 4 or more living in their apartment. Can't wait to get out of this horrible Ghetto place!!!!! read more

Flintlake Apartment Homes the place I live I could end the sentence right there and it would be complete but, it would not even begin to tell you why I chose to live here. It is so much more than just an apartment complex (hence the name) we are a community, friends, and family maybe not by blood but family just the same. We have get-togethers at the pool thanks to Flintlake for the gorgeous gas grill they installed just this past May. Along with the amazing gas grills, we also got new pool furniture that is so much better on my back. The dying shrubs are all a thing of the past and been re-placed with holly bushes, I can envision the red berries at Christmas time! The side walks are leveled thank you so much so that will help with the heavy rains. Speaking of heavy rains the roofs have all been re-shingled too!!! Thant is quite remarkable to do all that in such a short amount of time. All our needs our met in a short amount of time our maintenance team is top notch!!! Dan, Daniel, and Karl you couldn't find any better! I especially want to thank Brittany our amazing office manager I locked myself out of my new iPhone 5 and I had to reset it up with a computer to erase it. She came to my rescue and talked to the apple rep. Hooked on to the computer wrote down my security number and security question and answers (it's amazing what you forget) We started this around 4:10 and she stayed until after 7:00! The office closed at 6:00 so she stayed for me well after the 6:00 closing time. I ask you how many if any complexes out there would do that I bet you would be hard pressed to find even one!!! This is why I live where I live it is so much more than an apartment complex it is a place I call home and then some!!!! read more

Flintlake is an ideal location, the apartments are spacious and it offers great amenities for the residents.

Worse apartment ever! The bugs were horrible despite pest control every week and the grounds always had dog poop in the grass that no ever picked up. I walked past 3 piles of poop for months. read more

My husband and I have recently moved in at Flintlake Apartments. So far we have been very pleased with our decision. The staff at Flintlake has been very courteous and helpful through our move in process. Derek, Rochelle, and Brittany have all been very responsive to all questions that we have had. Flintlake is close to everything---Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets, restaurants, the airport, and a short distance to the beach. Even though the apartment complex is so close to everything, you feel like you are miles away. The apartment complex itself is in a quiet location located on Arrowhead Golf Course. The grounds of the apartment complex are beautiful and well maintained. We are located right near a pond---my husband and I love sitting outside by the pond and feeding the turtles and ducks. We LOVE our new apartment! The bedrooms are HUGE!! Our guest bedroom is not only a bedroom, but it also serves as an office---we have room for a queen bed, two nightstands, a desk, dresser, and even a bookshelf. The kitchen makes really good use of the space and provides lots of cabinets and drawers. This is super nice because it allows me to keep my countertops clear. Another aspect that we love about the apartment is that there is room for our washer and dryer. Overall, the space is really good and very functional! In addition to the apartment, we also love the amenities offered by the complex. My husband and I take advantage of fitness center as well two pools--these help give the apartment complex a community feel. We also love having the convenience of a carwash. After spending the weekend at the beach it's nice to come home and be able to wash our car and all of our beach stuff off and not track sand through the apartment. I love Flintlake and would definitely recommend Flintlake Apartments. Great location, safe, well maintained, great staff, and great apartments!!! Definitely an A+ read more

I moved to Flintlake Apartment homes in April of 2015 we are extremely lucky to have secured a beautiful apartment over looking the golf coarse, since we have moved in the community has been friendly, helpful and a delight to be a part of. Dan who is one of our maintenance staff is on point and Rochelle , Derek and Brittney have been overwhelming in their positions always there to take of what needs to be done or simply a warm greeting and fabulous hospitality they have provided for me a my guest alike. The pool at Flintlake I am a lucky is a hop skip and away from where I reside and is always kept spectacular and delightful..TWO THUMBS UP !!!! read more
