Owner was reluctant to help me and was obviously annoyed by my young children in shop. My son had a trantrum and my other son knocked a Booblehead over so I understand the frustration. However when your child tells you " that man was mean to me" it's a sign to never shop here again. After posting my review I noticed all the other negative reviews. Sad bc the same Owner used to be pleasant. Not sure what changed but I wouldn't shop here with young children and plan to never shop here again and to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience. read more

Maybe Flip should be called the hockey consignment store because it seems like it's all sticks and skates! Small place and the hours are really short, only a few days a week and a few hours per day. The price changes the longer the item is in the store, after a month or so it goes down 10%, then down another 15% after another month, but only two reductions. After 90 days they give it back or donate it, whatever the consignor prefers. No returns! Super nice service, when I called in the kid looked up my skate size on the shelf and told me it was worth coming down. Of course they didn't fit when I got there and tried them Lol, but I found another pair that did. read more

I didn't have a good experience at this store. The woman didn't say anything to me when I came in or ask me if I needed help. She only came over when I started to look at the ice skates and some spilled- she didn't want me to make a mess of them. I had a lot of things to shop for, but ended up not doing so. I did buy something, but regretted it due to the poor customer service. That object has bad karma as it came from this woman's shop. read more

I would say that throughout covid Stefanie(manager) has done an excellent job keeping the store in controlled and safe, she now has regular shopping and I love it. The store is a hidden gem, I can always find the stuff I need even when it's rare to find for an amazing price. She marks everything 60% off so we're getting an amazing bargain. Great for sports gear but also for bikes. My son was struggling to learn to ride a two wheeler. My daughter's friend came to the playground where I was running along side his bike and pointed out that it was a BMX bike. Apparently those bikes are designed to be ridden standing up so you can do tricks. His bike, although physically small was designed for an adult. I had no idea. I took the bike to Flip, selected a bike that was the right size for him, and he was riding a two wheeler in 2 days! You saved me! THANKS! read more

Love love love Flip. For the past 2 seasons I bought my son's soccer cleats here. He's young and just starting in sports. They always have his size at a good price and in excellent condition. Because he's growing so fast I love that I don't have to pay full price when I know the shoes will only last one season. The store is clean and we always end up seeing something else for someone else in the family.
