It's very well through out and I enjoyed participating with my little lady. I've also hosted her 3 year old party here and the staff is wonderful in helping setting up and keeping the pace with leading the games to shuttling the kids out to have their pizza and cake! I highly recommend taking a class here. There is also a drop off class that we hope to take when she is a bit older! Miss Hayley and Mr. Zach are the best!

So the kid continued to jump around amongst toddlers for the next hour. An accident waiting to happen. Staff didn't seem to mind either. So we had to watch our toddler extra carefully.

The kiddos really love it! It's safe as it's completely gated. There's a neat playground, some boulder things they can climb, as well as a few different splash areas. They have picnic tables, but we prefer setting up a blanket under the trees in the back. It's perfect! There are some mosquitos back there so having some spray doesn't hurt. The park is very clean. No trash and well maintained, but the bathrooms remain gross however. Ugh! Just come prepared for that. I wouldn't dare let my kids use it as a changing room. Knocking a star off for this. We usually come during the week, earlier in the day or around dinner time if it's a scorcher. I believe those are the best times to come. There are school and camp trips made here regularly, so there may be groups in and out. Usually not an issue though. Don't let the kids run in flip flops. I've seen many slip and fall here. Invest in a pair of Keens or some similar water sneaker with traction! I actually find them at Payless and Target for a steal! It's a great way for them to go from water to the playground too! Bring toys and buckets. The kiddos love catching the water and splashing their siblings! :) We usually grab food from Grindcore House nearby or bring a picnic! There's a popsicle shop across the way on 2nd for some post play treats. A snack bar would really take this place up a notch!! The ice-cream man does sometimes drive by so make sure you have some cash if you don't want a crying kiddo. Always bring water though! Free street parking is plentiful.

Sadly it was closed on a Saturday morning, but I was determined to go back asap. Today, on 12/31, was that day! There aren't a ton of things to do with kids on New Year's Eve so I was thrilled when I saw that this place was open. My family drove over from Philly and were so happy seeing the size of this place when we arrived. There are so many awesome things for kids to enjoy. Swings, trampoline, kid's roller coaster, zip line, a quiet room, and a ton of different types of toys. We spent about 2 hours here and both of my kids were busy the entire time. Win win! We decided to get a 12 pack for $125 plus tax. Please note that the website prices are not up to date! Still, the price is worth it for what you're getting. We can't wait to come back!

I had so much fun that this year I want to see if they have something else I can learn! The instructor was very patient with us and explained everything perfectly. I learned how to make screen prints using freezer paper or drawing fluid and screen filler (we did not do photo emulsion). I wish I brought more T-shirt's instead of doing a bunch on paper so learn from my mistake. This is a great experience and I highly recommend it!

She nicely told me get over it and I would be fine (of course she didn't say that), she reassured me that she would be safe and have fun..after the first class, my daughter was hooked; it doesn't hurt that they get to color on the mirrors in the studio. Throughout the years my daughter has taken numerous classes at the Fairmount and Queen Village Centers, in addition to "Date Night", which you drop your child off for a couple hours and pick them up, I believe around 10pm; they feed them, they go to the gym, and of course do art. Not only are they doing art, the children learn about artists and how and why things are done. I believe the regular classes were about 90 minutes for children. There are general art classes but most of them have a theme or time period that they focus on; one of her favorite classes was pottery. Numerous adult classes and birthday parties are also offered. Recently my daughter started back at the Art Center for drop-in camp. Seeing Ms. Jill for the first time in years was the highlight of our day. While she is the owner, she is fully invested in the children and it shows by how much my daughter loves her! For camp, the campers get creative so it is recommended your child comes in play clothes and sneakers because the do go to the park; before-care and after-care is available. Over the years, due to scheduling conflicts we were unable to attend regularly, but anytime I hear someone talk about their children loving art, I always recommended the Art Center! I was creatively deprived before I took this series and it immediately made me happier to have this outlet each week. A girl in his school does gymnastics, and he got interested in how to do all the flips and tricks; but when I researched her program, it was girls only. However, they steered me to PBG, and I couldn't be happier. The coaches are terrific, instilling the discipline of real athletics while still understanding the playfullness of a pack of boys. My son has gained so much confidence, and will begin competing in January. He loves the community, the measurable achievemnts, and the training. He is now proficiemt on all of men's gymnastics gear (rings, floor, pommel horse, high bar, parallel bars, vault) and grows every practice. There's also a really amazing parents association, who help make sense of everything and offer terrific support.

They have several different memberships depending on what you're looking for. The staff and instructors are all amazing. You can tell that they love being in the water and sharing that love with others. The pool, deck area, and locker rooms are always clean and well maintained. There are plenty of lockers (bring your own lock) and showers in the locker rooms. The pool and locker rooms are in the basement level under the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. There are plenty of signs to help you find it, and an elevator down to that level makes it accessible. You need a code to get in the building entrance, a staff member buzzes you into the Fitness Alive area, and then you need another code to get inside the locker rooms, so the location is very secure. They also have a South Philly location that offers swimming lessons if you're not near Center City.

Their pickup at the local elementary schools makes it a hassle free after school transition. They do tons of art projects and have time to do their homework as well.
